The legendary Sleepy Hollow

Charming canal front cottage with boat dock and canal access to the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes. Three bedrooms - one king, one queen and one full plus a futon. Two full bathrooms. Serene water views and wildlife all around including sandhill cranes, deer, wild boar, and occasional gators. This is a bird watchers paradise. You can fish from the backyard or the dock or bring your boat and fish the lakes. There is a boat ramp on the opposite side of the property. Tons of water to canoe or kayak as well.

It was a wonderful spot - was easy to set our traps and fish. Our pupper dog enjoyed himself as well. Thank you for the hospitality. Convenient bar next door with some great food from the food truck as well with live band.

One of the coolest places I’ve stayed. Amazing views, super peaceful on the patio listening to all the wildlife. Bar/restaurant next door with live music, great food, and even better people. You won’t be disappointed staying here as the owners are just as great and the home is stocked with everything you need and then some.

Cool Old Florida Location

Hubby and I spent a month at the camp while looking for our new forever home. Thoroughly enjoyed morning coffees and evening drinks out on the back porch overlooking the water surrounded by grand mossy oaks and Cypress trees. Experienced beautiful sunrises and sunsets as we watched the local wildlife and occasional boats cruising by. Loved the proximity to the Sleepy Hollow bar with its music and fun evening activities and yummy fare from the food truck. Our hosts, Jesse and Nelson were very accommodating.. and a pleasure to get to know. The best part was making forever friends during our stay.

SleepyHollow weekend party.. weekday quiet

Stayed at this location for a month stay.Friday and weekends are a bit loud as there is live music at the pub next door during evenings.But the pub is fun to visit as well.During the week was quiet, and the backyard lake view is beautiful.A fun place to stay if you like weekend fun.view of the lake was beautiful.

A hidden gem

This was hands down the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. We were here for 6 weeks, and loved every minute of it. Internet worked great which was a plus for my working husband. The bar/food truck next door was excellent. Good prices and the best food ever. The best part, the people were so friendly and I feel like I made many new friends. Nelson and Jesse were great to work with as the owners. Can’t wait to go back!

The Legendary Sleepy Hollow, Floral City Florida

We stayed in the house on Gobbler Drive; which turned out to be a hidden gem. We did not realize the owner also had a bar and grill, a private boat ramp for guests, and RV park on site; all within the area of the house. House was settled on a canal which fed to Lake Tsala Apopka. No problem getting my pontoon boat in and around navigating. The owner and his wife are fantastic people. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyed; and it was a pleasure to have conversation with them. Considering they had just went through a major hurricane; they made sure the house we were staying in, and the grounds around the place was in tip top condition. It is those types of things that I appreciate in people. Although a bar is there, the evenings were very quiet and comfortable. No unnecessary noise; or roudy drunks raising cane. I 100% recommend this place for a great get-away! I will certainly return there again!! ps: do the Pirate Ship tour!!!

We love Sleepy Hollow!!

Four of us stayed here for 10 weeks while we did wildlife research in the area, and we could not have found a better place to stay. We could fish and launch kayaks from the backyard, and the birds and wildlife were sublime. The spot is quiet and peaceful, but live music and the bar/food truck next door gave us something fun to do on the weekends. We absolutely loved getting to know Nelson and Jessie and the Floral City community. We hope to be back to visit soon!!
