Located 200m from the sea, near the Rochers de St Guénolé, this house welcomes you for a relaxing, iodized holiday, made of cultural and gastronomic discoveries, fresh air and visits to the historical heritage of Pays Bigouden. Many nautical activities are available to you in the town: swimming, kayaking, sailing, kitesurfing, surfing on the Torche site, etc., and also tennis, pétanque, galoche bigoudène (traditional local game), football, table tennis, minigolf, cycling, hiking, horse-riding on the beach and a plethora of other possibilities!
La Vigie is a large detached house that faces away from the road, with enclosed garden, located in an alley with very little traffic.
On the ground floor: garage, entrance/cloakroom, "back from the beach" shower room , bathtub for rinsing/drying swimsuits, wetsuits, shorties etc, table football, 1 separate toilet. This floor also offers two bedrooms: 1 quadruple bedroom (adult bunk beds 90x200) with shower, sink and heated towel rail and a second, double (160x200cm bed) with shower, sink, heated towel rail. This bedroom opens onto the 65 m² terrace and the garden.
On the first floor: 1 separate toilet, large fitted kitchen (induction hob, dishwasher, large fridge + large fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, etc.) and dining room, hall, double relaxation lounge on parquet floor with TV (TNT and Netflix), books and board games.
On the second floor: 1 double bedroom (160x200), 1 twin bedroom (2x90x200 beds, which can be combined to make a 180x200 bed), 1 separate toilet, 1 shower room with toilet, basin and heated towel rail. This floor also has two other double bedrooms (160x200), each with shower, sink and heated towel rail.
At the top of the last flight of stairs is the seventh bedroom, (double, 160x200), availing, on the North side, a panoramic view of the entire bay of Audierne and its magnificent sunsets and on the South side, a view of the whole town of Penmarc'h, its lighthouse, chapels, the harbor pass, the Tour Carrée and spectacular dawns. Small lounge area and TV (TNT, Eurosport and Netflix).
The location of the villa makes it an ideal rental for hiking holidays: the sea and the GR34 trail are 200m away, the large beach of Pors Carn/La Torche 1km away (accessible by road or by the coastal path), bakery, pharmacy, banks, weekly market, restaurants and bars at 600m, craft brewery and supermarket at 500m.
For your comfort and safety, the electrical installation has been completely redone and the windows have been replaced (all defenestration-proof).
All the bedding is new and of high quality, the pillows are very comfortable. All bath and toilet linen is provided and the beds are made. We have cots and high chairs at your disposal if needed; note that the two lower bunk beds, in the quadruple bedroom on the ground floor, are low enough to safely accommodate toddlers.
Given the narrowness of the alley, only one parking space is available behind the house, on the street side.
Ample free-parking possibilities in the parallel street (110m) or in the Poul Briel car park (250m, also free).
For your peace of mind and ours, a personal liability insurance certificate for short-term rentals is required upon booking your accomodation (said document to be obtained at no cost from your insurance company).
A 300€ deposit will also be required upon arrival.
Please note that the water, fuel and electricity meters will be read on your arrival and departure and the utilities will be charged to you when you check out.
