High-speed internet~ PERFECT for a FLEXCATION…Perfect for couples who are celebrating an Anniversary, Honeymoon, visiting the Ark Encounter, or just getting away... it’s also suitable for a family with kids... large yard...Large windows with lake views from all but 2 windows. 1st floor Master bedroom (Queen Bed with small en suite) has water views all around, Bedroom #2 -Open loft with 1 full/double bed and 1 twin bed (2nd floor), Bedroom #3 twin bed (2nd floor)...Fully stocked kitchen for your gourmet meals. Gas Grill & Charcoal grill provided as well as table and chairs for outdoor dining... Close proximity to the Ark Encounter In Williamstown, KY, close to Kentucky Horse Park in Georgetown, KY... Above-ground Pool with spacious deck (seasonally open Memorial Day — Labor Day), fish from dock (with license), sunbathe, listen to the rain fall on the tin roof, relax in the cozy living room by the fire, or unwind in the hot tub after a hard day of fishing and kayaking. 4 kayaks, fire pit provided (wood is not provided). SWIMMING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE LAKE.

Host is wonderful to work with. We and our children enjoyed the long weekend and are already looking to book next year. Between the lake view, pool and hot tub we had a very relaxing weekend full of water and games.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time at the property. My grandchildren fished, used the pool and the hot tub. The feel of the home is warm and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this property. We visited the ark and the aquarium.

Relaxing Retreat

The cabin had everything we needed to unwind and have some fun family time. Very clean space and kind host. Our kids loved the spiral staircase and loft.

We enjoyed this cabin on the lake. The house was clean and adorable. The beds were very comfortable! We loved taking the kayaks out on the lake to watch the different water birds and turtles.

My spouse and I had a awesome vacation at the lake house. We docked our boat at our own dock. Just feet from backdoor. House was super clean and very nice and cozy. We will book again!

Wonderful relaxing property with scenic lake front. Lots of outside areas. Kitchen well supplied. Great seating area. Saw a large group of swans that was so serene. We had a great time.

Beautiful lake house - short trip to the Ark

We loved staying at this little house. Twisty stairs are for the young. Well equipped. Beautiful views. Short distance to the ark and Creation museum.

Nice stay

We had a nice stay here. Everything was really clean and cozy. We sat on dock and fished and then sat in jacuzzi. Overall a really nice peaceful get away! The ark was not too far away. Our car navigation took us to wrong place about 10 mins from the house, but my google maps on my phone brought us to the right house.

Perfect getaway close to home!

We had an AMAZING TIME!!! Check in was super easy. There was a lovely welcoming gift waiting for us. Location was perfect! Kids loved the kayaks and the fishing! We didn’t turn the tv on once....We hung out on the huge deck and enjoyed the scenery and the wildlife! Cant wait to come back!! Thanks for sharing your lake house!

Great 1st experience using Vrbo!

This lake house was perfect! Very clean. Very attentive host. Very cozy. It honestly felt like home the minute we walked in. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. We visited the Cincinnati Zoo, Ark Encounter, and Creation Museum. We had 5 people. You can buy all you need to cook simple meals at the Dollar General very close by.

Ark encounter trip

We were looking for a place to stay close to the ark encounter. It was a nice central location for our excursions in Kentucky. We found this lake house and it was a very nice place to be able to kick back at the end of the day. Owner was accommodating with a special request we had and we appreciated that very much! Loved the kayaks and our 10 year old son even caught a 23” catfish. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. We were able to enjoy Some beautiful sunsets as well. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful; close to the Ark Encounter

We had an amazing time. The home and property were beautiful, clean and perfect. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking. We caught several nice bass. The hot tub was wonderful. Property owners were great to work with. The welcome basket of goodies was so sweet. Beds and furniture were comfortable and clean-everything felt new and fresh. We had a great time. It had everything we needed. The Ark is less than 20 minutes away.

Lake House Stay

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Raines Retreat! It was cozy & all around a sweet treat to stay at! Super clean! The personal touches throughout the house made it feel just like home. Mrs. Anjanette is a precious soul & was so wonderful to communicate with. Our kids loved the lake & the kayaks. Our grand-babies loved the pool & hot tub. We are typically beach going people, but we didn’t miss it one bit! That’s how much we enjoyed our stay!! Thanks so much Raines family! We hope to come and visit again! :)
