Charming and serene cottage on Lake June with private beach, dock and covered swing to watch sunsets or enjoy your morning coffee. Fresh, clean and clear water for swimming, boating, paddleboarding or kayaking. Close to everything Lake Placid has to offer and everything is included! The only thing missing is you! Sleeps 8 in beds and has enclosed air conditioned sleeping porch with gorgeous lake views that sleeps 3-4 on fold outs that is perfect for your guests!

My crew was very comfortable in this house. We were in town for a work trip and mainly needed a comfortable place to stay. The house had everything we needed and the host communicated clearly ahead of check in. Thank you for our stay.

LOVE THIS PLACE

This home is so cute! My son and I were staying on the coast in FL in August of 2021. Red Tide was really bad and ruining our month long vacation. A friend of mine told us about Lake Placid. I found this place and we left! We booked a week and just before the week ended, my son asked if we could stay another week. I asked the hostess and she said it was available so we stayed. She had everything we needed there. We booked jet skis from a local guy. We walked across the street to the bar for food a few times. We played in the lake everyday. The storms in the evenings were absolutely amazing. There’s not a lot to do in this little town during the summer months but if you’re looking to chill on the lake, this place is awesome. We’re trying to book it again for May of 2022.

We have rented in Lake Placid for many, many years and finally decided it was time to get our own spot! We offer this place we love because we know others will love it too and hope to see guests returning year after year.

Why they chose this property

This cottage was built in 1955 and when we decided to purchase a lake home we wanted a true "cottage experience" and this place fits the bill! We have added touches to try to modernize it and make it fun and zippy while still preserving its cottage charm.
