This was a great place to stay. The house was in a great location. Great view. Just wished there was more cleaning supplies. Trash bags , dish washer pod , sponge to wash dishes. We didn’t spend much time cooking so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall I would book again. Loved it
Everything was perfect. The house was very clean, plenty of linens, it was the best-stocked kitchen we've ever rented. And the huge living room windows and deck offered a stunning view of the Smokys! Easy to get to the National Park. I'll go there again.

The view was amazing, the bed was too high and was so squeaky and not as advertised, the driveway was too steep to walk up or down with a boot on my broken foot. The upstairs bathroom sink was cracked, a chair in the living room was broken, there was cobwebs all over the lights, there was dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived, the floor looks like it was never cleaned.
The cabin was overall nice with a couple minor inconveniences that didn't make or break the vacation. There were plenty of dishes, pans and silverware for our group of 8 and there was more than enough space for us all. With a crawling baby, it was nice to be able to close the door to the stairwell. The hot tub was nice and the grill worked great. The location was great and we seen bears several times throughout the week. As for cons, we only had enough towels for one per person and when we washed them in the middle of the week, the dryer took 3 full cycles to dry them. We ended up air drying our beach towels and didn't do anymore washing though we needed to. The can opener needs replaced, we couldn't get it to work. The cleanliness could be improved a bit but overall we had a great time and loved the location.

Thank you for the thoughtful review! We're so glad to hear the cabin offered plenty of space and amenities for your group, and it’s great that everyone—from the adults to the crawling baby—felt at home. The bear sightings must’ve been such a unique highlight! We do appreciate your helpful notes about the towels, dryer, can opener, and cleanliness—your feedback goes a long way in helping us improve. It’s wonderful to know you still had a great time, and we’d love the chance to welcome you back for an even better stay!

The property was not clean when we arrived.
The counter had spaghetti sauce all over it. The dishwasher was full but dirty. It also had whole pieces of food at the bottom. We didn’t get a discount for lack of cleanliness, even though we had to clean the entire place. We were told maybe we could get a night free next time we use them.

Horrible experience, would never recommend this cabin to anyone
Cobwebs, hair on carpet, mattress, mold in the washroom, old smell in the property, apart from spotting a bear during daylight 20 feet away from the cabin.
Even before we got to the cabin there was this whole exercise of sending selfies and license and text message conversations and multiple upgrade offers which when we tried to avail did not get any response to.
We have stayed at cabins for a couple dozen times now and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. The doors and floors creaked, the cabin had a foul smell, the plates and utensils in the cabinet had food still stuck on them. There were hair and cobwebs on the beds, settled thick dust on the beams and door sills in all bedrooms, all fans, carpet had hair.
We cut our 3 day trip short by a day because we did not want to stay in that dirty place for another night. We had mentioned while booking that we had a special needs kid and cleanliness was most important to us, we were assured that the cabin was thoroughly clean.
I would not recommend this cabin and for the terrible experience after the complain we have had - even the rental service to anyone who values their and their family’s precious holiday time, absolutely not worth it.

Beautiful View and location…But some issues
The view was amazing and what we expected. The check in was efficient and location outstanding! However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness considering there is a cleaning fee… dust bunnies coming off a ceiling fan, mustiness in the downstairs bedroom, shower liners with mold and mildew which hadn’t been replaced… found new liners to replace the old one… chip bags, plastic bottles found in the yard and trash dispenser and a bucket of cigarette butts left on the deck. We had lots of ants to deal with as well… despite the trash being picked up around the trash bins, we still had to contend with the ants during our 2 nights there. We even found a dirty knife and the utensil bins dirty in the drawers.
These issues were addressed with the management company so hopefully these issues will be resolved.
The location of the property and the setting was amazing! The problem was the house was not cleaned properly. Evidently they consider basic cleaning of the toilets and showers "deep cleaning" there was public hairs in the master shower and building up of black mold around every crack in same shower. The second bathroom shower curtain was disgusting with pink and black mold and hasn't been moved and cleaned behind because there was a long hair behind it in the tub. The toilets (both) had the bowl cleaned and the rest of the surface was dirty with public hairs all over them. There were cobwebs in the corners of every room even the short ceiling rooms. The master bedroom door apparently had never been closed to clean behind it in the corners. I reached out to the property manager and all I got was sorry its due for semi annual deep cleaning but sorry about your luck and maybe they would"try"to give discount if I booked thru them again. Or the other option was that I could have one of our first days of the visit ruined by then coming to clean if I had said something sooner. If the location of the house hadn't been so perfect this would have been a horrible experience. Oh and there is a book in the cabin that has several complaints and the previous reviews also showed repeated issues with cleanliness so I would think twice about booking this place.

We greatly appreciate your feedback. Looking into the reservation I could find no notes indicating that you called to let us know about the cleaning issues. We would have made sure they were addressed and taken care of. We do hope to see you again in the future. We will send you out a VIP card for a future stay to say sorry.
