The Perfect Lake House Vacation

This Lake House is one of a kind. It has been a Five Star rated getaway for several years. It's being re-introduced after an extensive remodel. Our return guest will be delighted with the updates.

Besides just being an awesome main body water front property with a boat dock, the renovation focused on the kitchen, bathrooms and new dreamy mattresses throughout the bedrooms.

The Kitchen boast some wonderful features, it was designed for family gatherings and sharing the meals you love to cook. Custom cabinets, granite countertops, a deep kitchen sink, smooth surface cooktop, wine refrigerator, french door stainless steel refrigerator with ice maker are some of the useful features along with plenty of bar seating and a dining table that sits 6-8 comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of your cooking and serving needs.

If outdoor cooking is your desire, why not do it lakeside with the gas grill.

The Living Room has soaring white pine ceilings, gas fireplace, 52" Smart flat screen Television and plenty of comfortable seating.

There are two master bedrooms on the main floor, guest should be aware that there are two steps up to be taken to enter the master bedrooms and bath. There is a grab bar at the entry of the rooms if needed. Smart Televisions are in these bedrooms as well as ceiling fans. The bedside lamps in each room feature USB ports and 110 outlets for your electronic charging needs. The large master bathroom with laundry area is accessed by both master bedrooms in a Jack n' Jill style. This is the only bathroom on the first floor.

The third bedroom is on the second floor and includes a comfy queen bed with power incline, two twin beds and a sleigh daybed with trundle. The bathroom on this floor is a favorite with a tranquil soaker tub, a rain shower, two adjustable shower wands and a cozy bench seat all in a walk in wet area. This bathroom also features a useful drying area to hang wet swimsuits and towels. Relax on the denim love seat recliner and watch your favorite programs on the smart television. The bedside lamps include USB ports for charging phones. Outdoor relaxation is just a step away to the balcony with a spectacular views of Lake Granbury. No worries about temperature control and comfort on the second floor as it has its own air conditioning unit.

The lakeside yard is fenced and aids in keeping the young one in when needed. There is plenty of grassy lawn for stretching out and playing your favorite yard games.

The boat dock has two boat slips with lifts. The boat launch is just about a mile away at The deCordova Dam Park. There is plenty of parking in the driveway and if needed, extra space for boat trailers in the adjacent lot by the lake house. Ice, drinks and fuel are just across from the lake house at the Pecan Plantation Marina. Don't have a boat? Pontoon boat rentals are available, or just take a paddle around in the two kayaks provided.

Please note that guest do not have access to the garage or the maids closet.

If guest need a break from the lake, there is plenty of entertainment around town including the historical Granbury Square where there is always a play to be seen at "The Granbury Opera House", be careful though, it's said to be haunted by the ghost of John Wilkes Booth! There are also unique shops all around the square as well as restaurants. If you're in the mood for wildlife adventure, "Fossil Rim" is just a short drive away in Glen Rose, and while you're there, check out "Dinosaur Valley State Park".
But be sure to return back to the lake house because the sunsets and star gazing away from city lights is the best.
