Peaceful gem
Chris and Lori are very attentive hosts. There are beautiful views from every window and the house is very well furnished with lots of extra supplies. It’s a totally peaceful retreat, the only sound is birdsong. We loved the tranquility and the space around the property.

Lovely place with all you need
Party of four enjoyed our two night stay at this wonderful spot. Much better than being at a hotel, over 1400 ft.², two bedroom, two bath, kitchen and living room gives space for all to enjoy. The property was private, extremely clean, had absolutely incredible views, covered outdoor patio with sitting areas and a swing. Perfect place to stay while visiting wine country. Each day we cooked dinner and breakfast in the open kitchen and enjoyed the beautiful stars at night. We met the hosts who own the winery Sunset Ride in town and they were very welcoming and we had a blast during our tasting with them!

We moved to Arizona in 2016, after falling in love with the area. The people are so friendly here, it's amazing. We first planted our vineyard in 2017 and had our first small harvest in 2019. We just opened our tasting room in downtown Sonoita in Spring 2022. Stop by Sunset Ride for a taste of our local wine, it's delicious.

Why they chose this property

There is so much you can do here, or do nothing at all! Check your email while you watch the sunrise, walk in our vineyard, and we'll explain the varieties and growth of the vines, hike, bike, ride, bird watch, fish, hunt, eat, sleep, explore local mines, caves, and lakes, pop across the border for a margarita, spend the afternoon or 2 or 3 exploring the 15 plus wineries within a short drive, or just relax, and enjoy the quiet. The house is a perfect size for a small family or 2-3 couples

What makes this property unique

The property connects to the owner's vineyard for a romantic evening stroll. Visit the owner's tasting room in downtown Sonoita Sunset Ride Wine (www.sunsetride.com) for a tasting and 10% off off. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the porch, as well as grand vistas.
