This getaway for adults and their fur babies is just a short walk away from two vineyards. Plus, the owners onsite have created a wonderful walking path around their property for exercising your pets. Have been coming here for over 6 years and highly recommend.

Great place near many wineries!
This was a great place to stay for a few days. The small home was very comfortable. It is right behind our favorite winery, Deep Sky Vineyards. There is fenced in yard for your dog. We will stay here again.
Modern, clean, great location. Went to see good night skies and it delivered. Will absolutely stay again

Wonderful Place
Enjoyed our stay. Place was a good match for our needs. Really liked the fenced backyard so our bulldog could go out and roam around a bit. Nicely located on sweeping open prairie not far from Patagonia State Park, Sierra Vista, historic Bisbee, Karchner Caverns. Did some climbing in the Mustang Mountains, and stargazing and night photography. Would return, no doubt.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, comfy beds, great sunsets off the porch. We hit about five wineries in a two mile radius on the same road which was so much fun. We didn’t bring our pup this time but there is a nice size fenced backyard if you do. It was so nice and quiet! We will stay again!

SUPER place to stay!
We visited the fantastic Sonoita/Elgin wine area and couldn't have picked a better place to stay! The views of the wineries are stunning and the house is perfectly appointed. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Highly recommend this place!! And we can't wait to come back for another visit! THANK YOU!
Our stay was wonderful. The hosts were awesome. They quickly responded to our text and certainly gave us our privacy. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. Sunsets were beautiful.
Excellent weekend getaway! Wine tasting, stars and relaxation, oh my!
We were two couples-one with kids under age 12. Our friends did the RV hookup and my husband and I enjoyed the cozy guest house. What an amazing location! The views of the mountains and open grassland are amazing. And Dale and his family were incredible hosts: warm, friendly and hospitable. They even let us enjoy the in-ground pool and hottub in their backyard. Dale was quick to respond to all questions before our visit. He was helpful with the RV hookup but also stepped back so we could enjoy comfortable privacy during our stay. The house is charming but modern, clean and includes kitchen essentials for basic meals. There isn't a stove or cook-top but we made it work with the gas grill and microwave. The medium-sized refrigerator was handy. At night we enjoyed the dark skies, stars and quiet. The bed was comfortable and cozy after days spent checking out the area, doing some wine tasting and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend this rental to our friends. We hope to visit again someday soon!

What you heard is true
I had friends stay here before, and they said it was such a great spot. I must agree. We did not bring our dogs on this trip, but I loved that they had an enclosed back area if we had. I also read the intro email and they can even watch your dogs if needed. The location is perfect, close to many of the wineries and if you've never had Deep Sky (next door), you may not need to go anywhere else. The house was a nice size for the two of us and had a smart layout. It was gated, for that extra layer of security. I enjoyed the patio chairs out back to enjoy morning tea. Even better they had a Keurig with pods to enjoy. I wanted to point out that the kitchen does not have an oven or stove. This was not an issue for us as they have a toaster oven and microwave. But if you plan to make breakfast on the stovetop, plan. The home was clean and had all the necessities we needed and more. Also, note that there is no cable or satellite, which was great to truly disconnect. We had fun popping in a movie. Make sure you step outside after dark and take in the beautiful stars. The owners appropriately named this Starry Night, and you will be blown away!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication
Inadequate response to toilet issue.
The unit was charming & very clean. Location/Proximity to amenities were appropriately described in listing with one exception, property listing included cable TV. There was no cable hookup.
Upon arrival, host was out of town but texted that he was "just a phone call away". On the 2nd morning, we woke to find that the toilet would not flush (nearest public facilities are 20 min. away), the tank would not fill. Attempted to call host, voicemail was full. Texted him, eventually got a reply stating "H2O may have froze up, but will come back on within a couple of hours typically". We had to manually fill the tank until the pipes thawed. Host never did call to check on status or offer to have someone attempt to address the problem. After almost 3 hours, the pipes thawed and we texted host to notify him. No reply.
The property in general was very nice but the interaction with the host was less than optimal.

Hi Kay, we're glad you enjoyed the cleanliness of the home! We take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We strive to provide a comfortable stay and make vacation rental easy for everyone. We are sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests.
- We truly value the condition of the home and appreciate being made aware of the frozen pipes. At the time of your stay, southern Arizona experienced an unusual winter and cold temperatures that caused the water to freeze up. Prior to your arrival, we experienced the same issue and had a specialist install heater cords to all the lines but was unable to wrap them into the big storage tank. We sincerely apologize that there wasn't more we could have done as it was out of our control but glad to hear that the water came back on in a couple of hours.
- In regards to the cable, our internet provider had issues with their tower causing a delay with television and internet connection. Unfortunately, there was nothing we could do about that aside from wait for the provider to fix the issue on their end.
- Communication is highly important to us and we ensure to consistently present ourselves in a professional manner to our guests. We do our very best to uphold high standards of hospitality and we will ensure to respond quicker to our guest.
We go above and beyond, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
What a perfect spot to explore the wineries in Sonoita and Elgin. If you like Dark Skies, wine, reading, birdwatching, and exploring the grasslands in Arizona, this is the place for you! We will be back!
My husband and I got married in Sonoita and stayed here on our wedding night. The place was beautiful, newly updated, clean, and comfortable. Hosts were incredibly kind as well. Would definitely stay again!
This little place is super charming. Everything seemed newly updated and fresh. The only issue we had was that there is no oven/ stove. Depending on what you're doing and how long you are staying that may or may not be an issue. We may do. An really enjoyed our time there. Our favorite part was waking up next to the vineyard next door and having her coffee in the morning ❤️. Would definitely stay again!
The high desert grasslands setting in a mountain surround is a beautiful place to enjoy sunsets. The well designed house is quiet and energy efficient. The owners provide amenities beyond the usual, such as a healthy supply of snacks and cold beverages in the fridge. Even breakfast cereal and an ample supply of coffee and tea. It’s a perfect place to rest in between your explorations of the area. The owners farm critters enhance the atmosphere and it’s easy to wander the property to enjoy the various views.
We enjoyed our stay at this clean, fresh and modern cottage. The owner was very attentive and involved. We spent 3 nights here and would stay again if in the area.
