Stay at Gite

This was a wonderful place. It is quiet, clean and contemporary. Language was an issue as we do not speak French or German, but we managed. I would stay here again.

Gite de Leonardo ist ein 5 Sterne Appartment mit allem Komfort und Ausstattung in KĂŒche, Bad, Aufenthalt und Terasse. Barr ist auf jeden Fall zum Weinfest eine Reise Wert und die Umgebung ist großartig zum Wandern zu den vielen Burgen oder in den Weinbergen. TrĂšs bel appartement, tout Ă  fait conforme Ă  l’annonce, bien Ă©quipĂ© - on y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin. Nous avons profitĂ© de la terrasse pour dĂ©jeuner au calme et au soleil. Les cadeaux de bienvenue sont trĂšs apprĂ©ciables et le propriĂ©taire est trĂšs disponible. Le centre de Barr est accessible Ă  pieds. Nous reviendrons !

Wir sind sehr freundlich vom Vermieter persönlich begrĂŒĂŸt worden. Er hat uns die Ausstattung der Wohnung (gemĂŒtlichen Wohnraum, sehr gut ausgestattete KĂŒche mit SpĂŒlmaschine, die keine WĂŒnsche offenließ, bequeme Betten, Waschmaschine) und kleinen Garten mit LiegestĂŒhlen, Sitzecke und Sonnenschirm gezeigt.Besonderes Merkmal: viele Kleinigkeiten von vorhandenen SpĂŒlmaschinentabs, Kaffeefiltern, GrundgewĂŒrze ĂŒber das Waschmittel fĂŒr die Waschmaschine bis hin zu einem liebevollen geschnĂŒrten BegrĂŒĂŸungspaket aus Sekt, selbstgemachter Marmelade und kleinen Kuchen.Der Standort war ideal sowohl fĂŒr Stadtbesuche Straßburg, Colmar und die Orte der Weinstraße wie auch fĂŒr Wandertouren und Radtouren.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: 2 SupermĂ€rkte und ein Lidl.Vielen Dank fĂŒr die wundervolle Unterkunft!

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in einer tollen Ferienwohnung. Die Wohnung ist noch relativ neu und wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gab einen sehr freundlichen persönlichen Empfang von Henry mit kleinen Gastgeschenken von seiner Frau. Die Betten waren wirklich bequem. Die Lage ist sehr zentral zwischen Colmar und Strasbourg, so konnten wir jede Menge AusflĂŒge machen. Es standen 2 private ParkplĂ€tze zur VerfĂŒgung. Bei schönem Wetter kann man es sich auf der Terasse gemĂŒtlich machen, aber dafĂŒr war es hier schon zu kalt. Man ist in 10 Minuten in den Ort gelaufen und findet gute Lokale. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schönes Urlaubsdomizil

Die Wohnung war sehr schön, bestens ausgestattet und gute Lage. Die GeschĂ€fte waren fusslĂ€ufig prima erreichbar. Wir haben uns in Barr sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und hatten einen tollen Ausgangspunkt, um Elsass und Vogesen kennenzulernen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Heerlijk appartement in Barr van alle gemakken voorzien

Een prima stek in de Elzas om de wijnroute op de fiets te verkennen. Het appartement ligt tegen het centrum aan. S morgens lekker vers brood halen en er is een supermarkt. Alles op loopafstand. Henry is een zeer vriendelijke host. Het appartement is schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.

Memorable holiday

First time visit to the Bas-Rhin region and based in Barr was perfect to reach all places. Gite Le LĂ©onardo was a perfect apartment. We had a two week holiday at the Gite. Everything about the gite was great quality and it was very well equipped. We were met by Henry (the owner) who explained everything to us and told us to contact him for any issues during our stay. Special mention to the beds which seemed very new and were very comfortable (very much appreciated after many days walking around towns, villages and the countryside). The apartment is within 5 min walk of the town of Barr which is a delight. We ate several meals at the local Winstub restaurant serving traditional Alsacian food. We also enjoyed buying food at the local markets and cooking in the gite. Very nice touch that Henry and his wife Madeline left some lovely gifts at the start of the holiday. Especially delightful were the home made configures. Would not hesitate to recommend the gite

Überdurchschnittliche Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderbar – fast schon luxuriös - ausgestattet, mit allem, was man braucht und sehr sauber. Alles entspricht der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Sehr ruhige Lage und Umgebung, schöne Terrasse mit Tisch und, StĂŒhlen, Liegen und Sonnenschirm. FĂŒr AusflĂŒge zu verschiedenen SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten im Elsass ist die Wohnung recht zentral gelegen. Vermieter Henry ist extrem freundlich und aufmerksam und die Willkommensgeschenke von ihm und seiner Frau sind sehr großzĂŒgig! Merci beaucoup! Wir können die Wohnung wĂ€rmstens empfehlen.

Beaucoup mieux qu'espéré!

Une habitation qu'on ne peut que recommander. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut, mĂȘme l’inattendu. L'accueil est chaleureux, les petites attentions Ă  l’égard des arrivants nombreuses et bienvenues. Venus pour les marchĂ©s de noel de la rĂ©gion, nous Ă©tions idĂ©alement placĂ©s, tant pour la rĂ©gion de Strasbourg que celle de Colmar. Merci Ă  nos hĂŽtes d'offrir aux visiteurs un lieu meublĂ© meublĂ© avec goĂ»t, trĂšs confortable et d'une rigoureuse propretĂ©. Jack

Sehr schön

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Wohnung vorgefunden und wurden herzlichst auch mit liebenswerten Aufmerksamkeiten empfangen. Die Lage war fĂŒr uns fantastisch, zu Fuß ins StĂ€dtchen Barr sehr nah und auch in der umwerfend schönen Umgebung konnten wir mit dem Rad durch die Weinberge fahren. In der Wohnung fehlte uns nichts und wir haben den Garten mit der gemĂŒtlichen Sitzecke und Sonnenschutz sehr genossen. Danke an Henry, der uns viele Informationen geben konnte, und immer fĂŒr uns zur VerfĂŒgung stand. Sehr gerne kommen wir bei einem erneuten Besuch im Elsass wieder hierher zurĂŒck.
