SEPARATE ENTRANCE

The comfortably furnished apartment RUI is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean on the cliffs.
A spiral staircase takes you up to the roof terrace, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the sea. Enjoy the tranquillity of your domicile with a good drop of Portuguese wine.

The apartment has a bedroom with sea view, a bathroom and a living room with a separate dining area (sea view) and sofa bed as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

The sofa bed can be booked for an additional person.
A cot can also be booked.

The property is tastefully furnished and equipped with satellite TV, washing machine and heating. RUI is well suited for long-term rentals in winter.
Living space approx. 65 sqm.

The fine sandy beach of Vale de Centeanes is only a 3-minute walk away, the supermarket and several restaurants and bars are just a two-minute walk away.

Due to its central location in the Algarve, Carvoeiro is the ideal starting point for exploring numerous beaches as well as the hinterland. The west coast can be reached in about an hour by car, Foia, the highest point of the Monchique mountains, in 3/4 of an hour and Silves, the former Moorish town, in 20 minutes. Lisbon or the Spanish city of Seville can also be easily reached by car in around 2 to 2.5 hours.

Fantastic view of the ocean.

The view from the apartment was fantastic! The apartment was well laid out and well equipped to make our stay a memorable one. Getting to the beach is vey close by but there is a fair amount of climbing to do to get back up to the apartment.

Excellent View

Tour of amenities was insufficient. How to use washing machine and space heater. Our tour mostly consisted of telling us what we needed to do to be considered good renters. Stayed 9 nights. Received 1 large 1 small towel per person. When I asked the older woman for more towels she was condescending to me and asked ne when did I check in, how many days, we are not a hotel. This was unacceptable to me. Everyone else was very pleasant.

Great view and location!

The primary selling point of this home is the location! The views from the dining room and bedroom are fantastic. The pictures do not do it justice. Then you are just steps from a really wonderful walking trail (Seven Hanging Valleys Trail) which runs all along the coast for miles. We woke up each day and walked to an amazing viewpoint. It never got old. You also have a private rooftop terrace with a grill and lounge chairs. We spent many hours relaxing up there. The kitchen and bathroom are both modern and well equipped. There is a small market a 1 minute walk away, as well as several dining options. Francisco at Helder’s Restaurant is a wealth of information about day trips from the area, We took his advice and did 3 different itineraries he suggested. A short drive away (or a manageable walk if you enjoy walking) is Carvoeiro, with many shops and restaurant options. There are also a number of grocery stores a short drive away for self catering. Harald was easy to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. He made the rental process easy, arranging for check in and check out to our schedule. Parking at the unit was no problem also. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Superbe vue sur l'océan

Appartement simple et bien équipé pour 2 personnes avec une superbe vue sur l'océan depuis le salon et la chambre ; et depuis la terrasse privée sur le toit sur laquelle nous avons pu observer de beaux couchers de soleil. (l'accès à cette terrasse se fait par un escalier en colimaçon étroit). Il est idéalement situé sur le sentier des "7 vallées suspendues", qui offre de beaux panoramas et traverse les belles plages de l'algarve. L'hôte en charge de la location a été très accueillant et a pris le temps de nous faire visiter l'appartement à notre arrivée. Il fait partie de l'agence de location en charge des appartements et se tient disponible tout au long du séjour si besoin. Il parle allemand et anglais. Appartement simple pour 2 personnes avec une superbe vue sur l'océan.

Herrlicher Urlaub, traumhafter Meerblick

Wir haben tolle zwei Wochen an der Algarve verbracht. Maßgeblich dazu beigetragen hat der Meerblick von der Dachterrasse und vom Essbereich im Appartment. Man kann gar nicht anders, als abzuschalten. Es sollte einem allerdings bewusst sein, dass die Dachterrasse auch von den Nachbarhäusern einsehbar ist und die Wendeltreppe nach oben schon "sportlich" eng. Für uns war das kein Manko, aber einen Hinweis ist für den einen oder anderen ggf. hilfreich. Das Appartment entspricht auf jeden Fall den Bildern - da gibt es definitiv keine bösen Überraschungen. Einzig das Plastikmobiliar auf der Terrasse könnte sicher mal ersetzt werden, um das Ganze noch mehr aufzuwerten. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Man erreicht direkt vor dem Haus den Klippenwanderweg, über den es in beide Richtungen zu schönen Stränden/Buchten geht - zum nahegelegensten Praia de Vale Centeanes (mit netter Strandbar) sind es kaum 5 Minuten zu Fuß (zurück wegen der vielen Stufen vielleicht ein paar mehr :-)). In umittelbarer Nähe gibt es auch einen Supermarkt mit allem Nötigen, wenn es mal schnell gehen soll. Auch Restaurants (wenn auch nicht unbedingt typisch portugiesisch) sind ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Für den Weg nach Carvoeiro würden wir allerdings ein Auto empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit Herrn Wittmann im Vorfeld und auch vor Ort war super und umkompliziert. Wir waren nicht das erste und sicher auch nicht das letzte Mal an der Algarve, und diese Ferienwohnung bleibt definitiv auf der Favoritenliste.

schöner Aufenthalt

es war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit, Harald ist ein guter Gastgeber. Die Lage ist Top, die Wohnung hat alles war man braucht, nur der Tisch auf der Terasse könnte stabiler sein und zum Grill eine Grillzange wäre noch verbesserbar, aber das ist auch das einzig Negative. Ich kann die Wohnung nur empfehlen.. 👍

Traumhafte Gegend, schöne Wohnung

Schöne Wohnung, alles vorhanden, schöne Aussicht. Natürlich ist im November und Dezember auch in dieser schönen Gegend Winter. Ein Winter der mit Temperaturen von ca 20° tagsüber an sonnigen Tagen bis in den einstelligen Temperaturbereich nachts reicht. Dieses Jahr soll die Temperatur deutlich unter dem Schnitt der letzten Jahre gelegen haben..... Zumindest hat die Sonne, wenn sie denn scheint, noch richtig Kraft. Die Heizung in der Wohnung dürfte dafür besser ausgelegt sein. Traumhafter Ausblick von der Wohnung und der Dachterasse aufs Meer, Steilküste und abendliche Sonnenuntergänge. Guter Ausgangspunkt um mit einem (Miet-)Wagen die Algarve zu erkunden. Wo man auch hinkommt, die Landschaft ist umwerfend. Wir hatten hier wunderschöne 4 Wochen und können diese Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen. Jutta und Olaf J. (Rentner)

Stunning views

Harald was great with communication. He went above and beyond to get us settled in, including picking us up from the train station in Estombar and stopping for groceries on the way to our housing. Any issues or questions we had were immediately resolved. From Harald's professionalism, to the fresh fruit he brings from his own property to share with tenants, to the spotless updated interior (with a washer AND dryer!), to the amazing views and wonderful hiking trail just steps from he villa, I could not have asked for more. Highly recommend!

Super Ausblick perfekt ruhige Lage

Die Dachterrasse ist spitze, das Apartment hat alle notwendigen Dinge, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Das Einzige was mal überarbeitet werden müsste ist das Silkon in der Dusche. Sonst war alles Top und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Seaside retreat

We loved the views from this condo!!! And we thoroughly enjoyed being on the Seven Hanging Valleys path within a few steps. The main reason for visiting this area was it’s access to all the beaches and walks and this property capitalized on this as well as giving you lots of room to move about.

Großartige Wohnung, super Umgebung, netter Verwalter

Wir waren zwei Wochen in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles total sauber, nach einer Woche gab es sogar eine Zwischenreinigung. Die Dachterrasse ist richtig klasse, das Bad total neu und die Küche gut mit den Basics ausgestattet, die man so braucht. Die Umgebung ist super, direkt vor der Türe beginnen tolle Wanderwege. Trotz der touristisch attraktiven Lage war es sehr ruhig. Der Verwalter Herr Wittmann ist total nett, ehrlich und zuverlässig; immer gut zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit. Auch unser großer Hund war überhaupt kein Problem. Die Wohnung ist im Winter abends recht kühl (trotz Heizungen), wir hatten das vorher schon in den Bewertungen gelesen und, da wir recht verfroren sind, uns deshalb noch eine Wolldecke für die Abende auf dem Sofa mitgenommen und dann war es auch kein Problem. Insgesamt können wir die Wohnung bzw. das Algarve Holiday Center absolut weiter empfehlen und kommen selbst gerne wieder.

Super emplacement...vue sur l ocean magnifique. Plage superbe tout pret a pied. Beaucoup de rangement , lit tres confortable. Cuisine et s de bain tres bien. Un bemol la terrasse pas assez amenagee. Table minuscule et vieillotte. Pas de lumiere et escalier tres etroit et tortueux pour acceder. Impossible de monter un plateau pour y manger........revoir vraiment la terrasse qui devrait etre le point fort de la location...salon lumiere table

Sehr schoene Wohnung mit super Meerblick.

Obwohl wir erst um 12:30 nachts wegen verspaetung des Fliegers angekommen sind wurden wir sehr herzlich begruest u. in das Apartment eingewiesen. Es war sehr sauber u. gut eingerichtet. Die Dachterresse war der Hit. Noch nie hatten wir so einen tollen Meerblick. Wir waren das erste Mal an der Algarve u. es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Strand war ne Wucht. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Super Urlaub

Waren für 2 Wochen in der Ferienwohnung Rui . Die Wohnung war sehr gepflegt und der Blick von der Dachterrasse, welche man durch eine Wendeltreppe erreicht, war ein Traum. Wir wurden bei Ankunft sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten uns bei Fragen auch immer an den Verwalter wenden, welcher um die Ecke der Ferienwohnung sein Büro hat. Zum nächsten Strand waren es circa 5-10 Minuten also recht nah (wie fast überall sind etliche Stufen zu bewältigen). Ratsam ist es sich einen Mietwagen zu nehmen, da man zu Fuß in die Stadt doch ziemlich zu laufen hätte und es mit Auto praktischer ist, die Umgebung zu erkunden. Auf dem Monte gibt es ein sehr nettes Restaurant, das "Phoenicia", in welchem man sehr gut essen kann. Ansonsten ist auf der Dachterrasse auch ein Grill vorhanden. Frischen Fisch zum grillen oder andere Lebensmittel kauft man am besten in einem großen Supermarkt - wenn Auto vorhanden -, der Minimarkt ums Eck ist nämlich doch ziemlich teuer. Ferienwohnung also auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder!

Traumurlaub

Wir waren für 12 Tage im Juni '11 im Objekt RUI und können nur sagen, dass die Beschreibung hier sehr treffend ist. Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub, der Blick von der Dachterrasse ist unvergesslich. Die FeWo ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles was man brauch ist vorhanden. Zum Strand läuft man ca. 5 Minuten direkt an der Klippe oder die Straße entlang - der Strand war auch mit der beste in der Umgebung! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, frische Brötchen gibts im Mini-Sparmarkt 100 m um die Ecke, Großeinkäufe mit dem Auto. Nach Carvoeiro ca. 5 Min. Autofahrt. Man kann in beide Richtungen am Meer entlang wandern / klettern, das gibt viele schöne Fotos! Kleines Manko: Durch die Lage am Fels und im Grünen gab es an zwei Tagen etwas Wind und nach Sonnenuntergang meist viele Mücken auf der Terrasse. Die Betreuung war perfekt, da es keine Straßennamen gibt, wurden wir 10 Min. nach Anruf in Carvoiero vom Betreuer abgeholt und zum Objekt gebracht, wenn etwas fehlte, war er sofort zur Stelle. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
