Peaceful paradise just minutes from beautiful beaches
I had the pleasure of staying in Nathalie's studio for several weeks, enjoying beautiful the gorgeous scenery and the beautiful, lush grounds. The studio is clean, stylishly designed, modern, and perfectly equipped. From the deck, you can watch hummingbirds while you enjoy your morning coffee — and even see the occasional pair of love birds and family of howler monkeys!
The property is private and beautifully maintained, with stunning palm trees, flowering plants, and cacti thriving all around. The shared pool is lovely — the perfect place to relax, take a dip, or do a couple laps (or even take video calls on the wifi that reaches out there). There's a little BBQ in the pool area, along with a swim-up bar.
The hosts, Nathalie and Nicolas, along with their gardener and property manager, Juan, are so kind and helpful. They anticipated everything I would need and were always easy to reach. They went above and beyond — easily the best hosts I've ever stayed with, and I've travelled all over.
The town of Santa Rose is just a few minutes away from Tamarindo beach, Langosta beach, and Playa Grande. Santa Rosa has a couple of minimarkets that are great for grabbing snacks or necessities in a pinch. Drive a little further and you can visit more beaches and go on beautiful hikes, seeing incredible waterfalls and wildlife.
I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful stay in sunny Costa Rica near beaches, but away from the business of Tamarindo. You'll be so glad you did.
