Sitting at 3000 ft. above sea level and with 80+ miles of hiking and mountain biking in the area there is plenty to do! Take a dip in the Middle Saluda River or following the Jones Gap Trail from swimming hole to swimming hole. This amazing property is 16 miles from Brevard where quirky shopping and great restaurants await you. It's only 9 miles from the wonderful Pretty Place Chapel. This home is the perfect home mixing rustic elegance and mountain living! The well-stocked kitchen with gas stove, is perfect for cooking any meal. There is a spot for everyone in the home: the Great Room, with comfortable seating and views has a Smart TV and gas fireplace. The Master Bedroom, with the see-through gas fireplace offers a cozy nook for reading or resting. Upstairs offers a 3rd sitting area where you will find another Smart TV. The deck provides lots of lounging opportunities along with a gas fireplace and gas grill. Or, if you prefer - the screened in porch has comfy chairs and a couch! And if you love a wood fire, head on down to the outdoor fire pit in the backyard! The Master Bedroom and Bathroom are located on the first level, while the 2 guest bedrooms and 2nd full bath are located upstairs. Each guest bedroom as a small deck with chairs off of it to sit and admire the views! Beautiful and comfortable

We loved our time at this gorgeous home. Even though it rained all week and we didn’t get to hike as much as we’d hoped, the layout of the house and the furnishings made it a great place to be! Would recommend!

Awesome place to stay

Beautiful, relaxing, and welcoming home. Comfy beds and a kitchen with everything you need to cook. and plenty of classy personal touches. Eating on the deck has beautiful views and is a great place to spend quiet evenings with the people you care about.

Rick & I are so happy to share our home with you. We live full time in Charleston, SC with our dog, Sally and Walter the Cat (who showed up one day and decided to stay!). We love everything outside and love to run, bike, hike, and swim at our homes and would love to offer you some local suggestions. Having rental properties in the mountains of Colorado and South Carolina, Historic Charleston and at the beach in Pawley's Island, SC., our goal is for you to have as wonderful a time at the property as we do when we can stay!

We are available 24/7 to assist with questions and to make sure your stay is wonderful! While this is a newly listed property for us in 2021, we have had hosting experience and fantastic reviews with our other 4 rental properties! Our only goal is to have our guests have a memorable and special time away!

Why they chose this property

While we love the 'low country' of South Carolina - we can't get too far away from the mountains! The combination of proximity to trails and mountain towns, house views, and the amenities this home provides were a perfect combination for us!

What makes this property unique

The home is located within the gates of Cliff Ridge, where you will have access to swimming pools (seasonal), tennis courts, and a small lake and trail. There are several great golf courses nearby as well as fishing, horseback riding, river rafting and many other outdoor adventures. The nearby city of Brevard, NC is home to Brevard College and world famous Brevard Music Center, offers great restaurants, arts and crafts and shopping.
