Our host was very welcoming, checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. The place was clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace and the beds were super comfortable after a hard day of skiing! Quick 3-5 minute walk to the bus stop to get to town or the slopes w our 5 yr olds (little legs are a little slower) Would stay again!
Absolutely loved the place! The host was very helpful when the VRBO app was messing up and he was patient and made sure we got all the check in/out information to the correct email. It was cozy and loved the Host! We were very thankful for the bathrooms having shower soap and shampoo!
We very much enjoyed our stay in this condo. Cozy, but more modern than expected. Easy to get to town, but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. VERY close to 4 o’clock run, so we’ll be back in the winter, too. I would highly recommend this condo to friends and family!
Rented this place for a night in the mountains as I had some friends from out of town come visit! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Check-in and check-out was simple. The place was as described and clean and the location can’t be beat! Would definitely stay here again in the future! Brent with Stay Living The Dream was great as well and communicated every step of the way!
We liked the location of this condo for skiing with a small group. It was well updated and once we figured out how to ski in and out it worked well. We accessed it right off the 4:00 run shortly after the large equipment on the left and looking for the 1st house on the left - different than the instructions we found in the condo.

Hey there glad you enjoyed the place and had a great time. Sorry you weren’t able to find the slopes using the map and pics we provided. However, I’m struggling to follow your description of a correct path. But they’re close enough you can see them once you steep outside. See you next time now that you’re a pro.
This was a great location for us to ski in/out. House was a good size for the 4 of us. It did get warm at night so we turned the heaters down. Kitchen has been nicely updated. I would like to see a couple more utensils- but we made it work. I just wish the fireplace would have worked since it’s comforting to have going while relaxing. Overall, the location to mountain was the BEST!

I don't remember in the description mentioning that it was on the 3rd floor and it there is not an elevator to use.
We also could not get the tv to work except for Netflix or other streaming services. If it did not have any live tv channels (news) that is ok, but please make sure it is mentioned.

Wear your walking shoes
It is really buried in the reviews but this unit is second floor without an elevator. The front parking lot adds 2 additional very long staircases to this. The “ski side” leaves you with only 56 steps up to the door and there is NO SKI LOCKER so all gear must be carried up every day. And of course the initial carry of luggage is tough. Also the photographer for this listing deserves an award. It is an owner remodel but the closets, doors, baths are circa 1980.Also very poor lighting (lamps) in bedrooms so if you want to read or unpack bring a headlamp. It is a ski in only- but a walk out to the four o’clock run. I’ve been to Breck for 20 years and I do know the mountain.

Alana,
Sorry that you were looking in the reviews for the fact that this property is on the 2nd floor. It's clearly noted in the description as well as the ski locker on the balcony of the condo. As a frequent visitor of Breck I would have thought you'd been familiar with the fact the complex is as described, just off 4 O'clock Run at the resort. I believe because there was a lack of snow and the run wasn't fully open is why you were disappointed during your trip, not anything we can do on that sorry. Each bedroom has two lamps that seem to cover the rooms well with light. Please bring anything to our attention during your stay to let us know and we can remedy it for you.
Nice stay, good location but thought would be closer to lifts
We had a quick stay and found the property to be clean and as listed but expected it to have easier access to skiing. We traveled with our three kids so we wound up driving to the lift and then my husband parked our car at the condo and made the trek. It worked out fine.
We had a couple of questions for the property manager and he was quick to respond but his tone was curt and seemed annoyed. I would suggest putting the basic information into a simple binder- some of the answers to our questions were found in a welcome email but we had to scroll way down and there were a number of emails sent by VRBO making it hard to find. I think that would resolve a lot of questions he must be receiving.
All in all- a good stay.

THanks for the stay Hillary. Glad you enjoyed the condo but didn't take advantage of the 4O'clock run right next door to ski to and from for the day. It opened up the week before you arrived and we had maps with instructions on how to ski back to the condo and tak the Snoflake lift to start your day!
We do provide almost too much info for guests so you have the best experience without having to reach out if you show up late since we allow 24hour check in! Glad you found the photos on how where the fireplace switch was after we replied and resent the check in info to you. We typically don't put the fireplace info at the top of the welcome info. We mention when booking to look for StayLTD info since that's really the pertinant info you need. See you next time.
Try e condo was great for our family of 4. Love the hill access and location.

Some good, some bad, overall ok
My family and I stayed here for 6 nights. Overall the check-in process was great, the condo was clean and generally as described.
I would prefer if the listing were clearer about the distance to and access to the ski slopes as well as the quantity of stairs to ascend / descend into and out of the condo. To be clear, accessing the slopes is relatively easy from the upper parking lot. It is ~100 yards down the road to the slope. Returning requires you to walk up the road those hundred yards then the 4 flights of steps up to the condo, or traverse the lower parking lot, but up approximately 2 stories more stairs. The map provided is insufficient, too small and showing directions for two properties.
The facility was clean, and largely as described. There really is little storage for clothes. That was not an issue for my wife and I in the master, but was for our 3 children in the guest room. The large bunk beds are designed to sleep multiple people, but there's insufficient storage space. There also is extraneous stuff in the closets (unused side table and a baby pack n play that wasn't stored properly).
The kitchen isn't very well set up for cooking. There were 5 forks, 3 small plates, 6 large plates, 4 cereal bowls, 0 mixing bowls, and one plastic slotted spoon for cooking. Likewise, all of the wine glasses were plastic / disposable type that had been melted in the dishwasher. There is plenty of cookware, but little to help you prep. We tossed salad in one of the pots, used the slotted spoon to scramble eggs, and washed dishes after every meal.
Last, the listing touts fast internet. That is true, but we struggled with getting a reliable streaming through the firestick TV. The streaming would either be very slow, lag, or not connect at all. This occurred at night, as well as during the day, when most people were out skiing and usage should be at a minimum.
This sounds like internet issues, but the internet speed was good, always north of 175MBPS download speed via speedtest.net, which is sufficient for streaming.
The property manger e-mailed us after checking asking if everything was ok. My wife replied the next day raising the streaming issue. His reply was that it was a busy week. I replied the following week pointing out the internet speed was fine and that the issue was probably the firestick. He replied the following day that no one else was having an issue. Hopefully he replaces the device for the next visitor.

Brad,
Thanks for your stay. Sorry the walk up the steps was a bit much. This property is just on the 2nd floor so not too bad but coming from sea level it's always tough for some. The map provided to ski back to the condo through the woods is pretty good for most but sometimes there's just not enough natural snow (it dumped right after you left) to find the route. I've noted your stocking concerns but could find all the pots/pans/bowls etc when I checked on the unit. I'm guessing something was wrong with your devices you're streaming from, we had no issues when we checked, and the guests I manage in the unit next door were having no issues. Thanks again for the stay. Let me know next time your preference for a ground level walk up unit and we'll get you set up.
So close to the base of Peak 8 which is perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers/boarders. Ski-out not intuitive or easy but ski-in was a luxury feature! Parking was plentiful, convenient and close to unit. Brand new appliances. Unit heats up nicely, with or without the use of the charming gas fireplace. Big, new washer and dryer in unit. Comfortable beds. Hot water heater adequate for 3 short showers in one hour most days. Clean. No funny smells. Walk up four short flights of outdoor stairs. Strong WiFi, decent ATT cell signal. Door key pad lock easy and convenient. Dishes and utensils adequate and in clean, good condition. Could have used a pizza cutter. Drip coffee maker with flat bottom filters provided. Four bagel new toaster. Could have used more pillows in master. Double comfortable bunk beds nice. Bar and table seating new and cute but metal and not comfortable. We had one high school boy in online school that week on computer set up on table and the chairs were tough to sit on for an extended period. Fine for quick eating. Comfortable for the three of us. Five people might have been tough. We will look for this place again. It was overall perfect for us! Thank you Brett for creating such an ideal place to stay.
