You may not want the Sandman to enter on your vacation fun because you won’t want to sleep and miss a minute of your vacation when you stay in this extra special home. Elegant and timeless in appeal, this fabulous oceanfront estate is ready to make your vacation dreams come true. The great room and top level sitting area with their floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach and beyond take your breath away - this is one of the best oceanfront views on the beach. The wraparound porch, private decks, hardwood floors, private pool, hot tub and fantastic ocean views make this home a special place for you and your family to enjoy year after year.

Ground Level: Enter from the carport to a large den with HDTV/DVD, CD/Stereo, wet bar with full-size refrigerator. The access to the pool area, a convenient half bath, and a Queen bedroom that shares a bath with a room with 2 twin beds are found on this level.

Mid Level: The hardwood floors and window-lined great room are just two of the best features of this level. In the living area you will find comfortable seating, a gas fireplace, 55” HDTV/DVD and a CD/Stereo. The open kitchen allows everyone to stay in touch and not miss out on any fun while preparing meals. There are two dining areas and a screened porch. You will also find a half bath, a bedroom with Queen bed that has an oceanfront deck and a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a private north facing deck (still with ocean views!). These 2 bedrooms share a bath. The laundry area is on this level too.

Top Level: As if the first two levels weren't enough, this level with its 2 King main bedrooms is the icing on the cake! One of the masters offers a large tile bath with whirlpool tub and a private oceanfront deck. There are 2 sitting areas, one on the west side and one on the east side. Both offer comfortable seating and a relaxing atmosphere - oh, and did I mention the views?! You will also find the 3rd half bath here.

Amenities: Private unheated Pool (2021 Pool Dates: May 1st-October 8th), Hot Tub, Gas Fireplace, High Speed Internet, 2 TV, 2 DVD, 2 CD/Stereo, Books, Wet Bar, Whirlpool Tub, Screened Porch. Gas Grill.

For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available.

You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.
Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st.
The pool is open from the end of April through mid-October.

Beautiful house with a perfect location

Perfect location. Beautiful house. Gorgeous views from each window. Distance from house to the beach was so convenient, especially with two littles. Was provided with plenty of towels, linens and starter trash bags/detergent. Only cons - furniture was outdated, and master beds were extremely squeaky, and it lacked outdoor porch/pool furniture. Would recommend getting taller chairs for outside to be able to see the beach over the railings. Overall, this house was perfect for our family needs and we would definitely rent again!

Perfect Location for a Family Reunion

Overall great location an home. Only issue is the guest information booklet needs updating (conflicting info with notes of refrigerator). Had to contact guest management to resolve trash and check out instructions.

The the house and the location were amazing the master bed still has a squeak in it which did irritate my wife and we ran out of toilet paper of course one roll per bathroom doesn't work for a great number of people overall very fun warming comfortable relaxing stay

Wonderful house with a priceless view

This is a beautiful house with a priceless view of the beach and ocean! The house has been well maintained and provided us a wonderful vacation! The dune deck and stairs looked brand new and provided a short walk to the beach over the wonderfully vegetated dune. Sunrise can be viewed from the 2nd and 3rd floor and is best seen from the 3rd floor deck or ships watch! The main floor open living area is large and spacious with an open floor plan. ... and again,.. that view!!!! The house was very clean upon our arrival and the interior decor is simple and uncluttered. The online photos appear to be up to date and current. The pool and hot tub area, while open, have a very private feel as the house on one side has a privacy area built around their pool and the house on the other side is smaller and set further back from the dune and can't be seen when inside the pool. The pool and hot tub were both clean, refreshing and used daily! I have a few recommendations for improvement: The master king bedroom bed is VERY squeaky making it very noisy for the occupants in the room and the occupants in the queen room below the master King. The sliding glass door on the ground floor going out to the pool is VERY difficult to open and then lock. The couches while clean, felt frumpy. The kitchen is on the small side, but provided all needed amenities - toaster, toaster oven, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, large deep sink, and separate ice maker built into the island. Overall, you can't go wrong in renting this house for a great experience living on the ocean at the Outer Banks. There are several decks, a few nooks to hide away in and still see the ocean, and a screened in porch. The owners even provided us with a 'Welcome' bag of toilet paper, paper towels, hand towels, hand soaps, mini shampoos and conditioners and hand lotion, a small dish soap and sponge, 3 tide pods for laundry, and some dish washing detergent. They also provided lots of bath towels, which is not listed on the website. There are 4 individual thermostat controls throughout the house, and the television provides a subscription to every online service available from Disney+ to Hulu. But who needs a tv with THAT VIEW! It was really stunning and we loved every minute of our stay in Enter Sandman!
