Good stay but unkind messages received after departure which took the shine off what was a good stay
All in all we had a great holiday. There were a few things about the property that could have been improved. Day one the upstairs sink was draining slowly so we decided to all use the main bathroom. The kitchen bin was quite dirty and looked like it hadnt been washed in some time. The fridge had a jar of pesto and baby bell cheese in when we arrived. The bottom bedroom with shutter door the bed was not made up for us on arrival . the plant pots outside on the patios and pool area had dead plants in, there was broken furniture lying around, this gave the property an unloved feel. The sun lounger cushions were stained, covered in bird feaces and one was badly ripped and the sun parasol also had spokes broken on it, again not a huge issue but suggests the attention to detail is lacking.
The above are small issues that did not stop us from enjoying our holiday.
Our flight home was at 6.30am so we had a taxi booked for 4.30am. On the way to the airport i seen i had an email from Eric asking us to strip the beds, empty the fridge and the bins and he would be round at 9.45am, this was sent to me 9 hours before i opened it, but we had went to bed early to ensure we didnt sleep in for early departure.
I then received a message from Eric saying i should have told him we were leaving early, he too could have asked! He also insinuated that we broke the parasol but it was already damaged before we used it. More emails followed .... Incomplete review due to word count limit
