Kate is a wonderful host and thought of every little detail that you could need on a vacation! The Boathouse was clean and cozy and in such a beautiful location. I couldn’t be more pleased with our visit and plan to come again! Not to mention it being pet friendly which made it even more memorable to be able to bring our fur baby along and let him see the ocean!
Everything about our stay was wonderful! The host, the accommodations, the cleanliness and comfort were all exemplary, cute and comfortable. We’ve stayed here previously, loved our current visit and will definitely return again!

This is a great place to stay while enjoying the National and State Redwood parks! There are also so many things to do in and around Eureka area! The Boathouse is so comfortable and cozy and Katie and Ollie are great hosts!
This is by far, the best place we have stayed at in Humboldt! We really appreciated the cleanliness, privacy, and how functional the whole space was. We can’t wait to come back!
It was very nice. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. Close proximity to town and everything was wonderful. We hope to stay again soon.
We had a lovely stay at the Boathouse. It was cosy, well-equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Kate gave us a warm welcome! We sincerely recommend the Boathouse!
Kate put so much attention to detail in preparing the Boathouse for our stay! From all the amenities to the little details such as stamping the toilet paper we felt cared for! Thank you Kate and her lil pup Ollie for making our stay amazing!
We really enjoyed our stay at The Boathouse! It was just what we needed while spending the weekend in Eureka for a wedding. Comfortable bed, well-stocked, and the kitchen is a huge plus! Great views of the bay as well. Highly recommend this gem of a VRBO.
So many great things to say about this place- the host, the communication, the attention to details in the warm comfortable place. All the comments about this stay are true- the guest book in full of the same theme. This is so very very lovely! Thank you Kate, the hostesses with the mostest.
