This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home with a 1 bedroom, 1 bath Carriage house, will soon be your favorite Scenic 30A vacation spot!  Upon arrival, guests will notice ample parking for 4 vehicles in the long driveway. Surrounded by the sights & sounds of nature, you are sure to enjoy both the peace & privacy, while still being close to all the action & activities 30A has to offer!  Cozy up around the outdoor fire pit & seating area after a long day at the beach!  Or enjoy one of the many screened-in porches...perfect for coffee or cocktails morning, noon, & night!  This large outdoor space also features a built-in gas grill for those daytime barbecues or for nights you're looking to stay in to spend time with family & friends.



Both the main & carriage house offer beautiful fully stocked kitchens outfitted with granite countertops & all updated stainless steel appliances.  The main also includes a wine cooler, spacious island, & a breakfast bar providing 4 additional seats.



This coastal chic home sleeps 12 comfortably with 3 king-size beds & custom built bunks in the main house & another king-size bed in the carriage.  There are TVs in every bedroom, as well as both living areas.  The master bedroom offers a private screened-in porch & a balcony off the 3rd-floor bedroom.  Suitable for families of all ages, kids can enjoy the board games, puzzles, & books provided.  Don't miss out on all the amazing amenities this home has to offer...unforgettable memories await!!



Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Parties, events, pets, smoking are not permitted on the property.



PLEASE NOTE:  If any of the 12 beach chairs are damaged, lost, or stolen there will be a $200 charge per chair to replace.

The house was great! Very roomy and convenient to great beach access. Kitchen had all supplies needed and the beach chairs were a nice bonus. A few minor issues during the stay were quickly dealt with by the host. Would stay here again!

This property is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the peace of the covered porches after a long day on the beach! We very much appreciated having the beach chairs, all of which were in good working condition. The carriage house is a great touch and the entire house was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our large party and the beds were also comfortable. If this property had a few extra amenities, I'd give it 5 stars. Some extra towels would be nice. There is one per person, but women (our entire group) typically use two. Other rentals I have stayed in have kitchen basics like salt & pepper, sugar, cooking oil, aluminum foil, a starter pack of coffee, etc. If former guests have left any items like this behind, it seems that they are removed by cleaning staff. There was a random bicycle left on the ground in the front yard. I called the management company about it but no one came to remove it during our stay. I highly recommend this property, just bring lots of essentials if you can or brace yourself for a big bill at Publix!

Great vacation there!

Our family spent this week at Pure Joy celebrating Thanksgiving. It was very roomy and comfortable. The carriage house was an added bonus for us when we needed a little quiet. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and we cooked some amazing meals there. The only complaint we had and it wasn’t anyone’s fault is trash didn’t pick up on Thursday because of the holiday and the cans were overflowing when we got there. Thanks for the sweetest time!

Great trip to Florida

This house was great for our party of 12, consisting of three adult couples and six teenagers. Right across from the pool, just a short stroll to the beach and bikeable to Seaside. We had a problem with the AC in the backhouse that the property manager resolved very quickly, and she also quickly replaced a few kitchen staples that were missing. Overall a great stay!

One thing to know about this property is that while you're booking on VRBO, the rental is run by Scenic Stays, a property management company. You will have to sign an agreement with them and all communication will come through them. While generally very communicative and responsive, they failed to acknowledge that I signed the rental agreement months before my stay which hindered early access until I got that cleared up which took two attempts. The house is nice and beds are comfortable. It was not a clean as I would have liked with dirty floors. There is some updating with patio furniture and the couch that is needed. Kitchen has all the amenities. But know that this house comes with no extras for kitchen items like salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea, etc. They give you two dishwasher pods and a small dish soap (a bit stingy for the price). The screen on the porch was broken and a fan wasn't working in the carraige unit which I notified about. The upstairs, 3rd floor King room, only has a half bath. So you're trekking to the second level to share a bath with the bunk room. There is no half bath for the 1st floor, so you're sharing with the 1st floor bedroom users. They had lots of beach amenities which was nice. Pool and beach are very close; however, we found having rental bikes nice for getting around. This property would benefit from some bikes. Overall, a good stay with some minor issues that hopefully this management company will resolve.

Great House and Location

Pure Joy fit all the needs of my family. The walk to the beach was direct and not as crowded and I had thought. Wi-Fi did not work very well during the day but seemed better in the evening. It’s definitely one of the better homes I’ve staying in over the years. I look forward to visiting again.

4 day weekend

Great house, very clean, with nice amenities! Great location. A few little things to consider before the next guest comes. There were ants and bugs in the In law house, a loose electrical box in the main house (kitchen), and the bushes need to be trimmed in the driveway. Overall loved the house and the location!!

Spring Break 2023

Pure Joy lived up to its name! We had a great week and our teenage daughters really enjoyed the viper close proximity to the pool, the beach and Seaside. It’s a great location and with lots of amenities. The beach chairs and bikes are a HUGE plus. And the carriage house was ideal for our extra guests. The management team was very quick to respond and address the couple minor issues we had. We would definitely rent this house again!
