Domaine de la Calm is a real joy, a perfect retreat from the noise and bustle of 21st century life. The owner, Erfan, gave us a very warm welcome and was on hand to give help and useful advice, as required. The house is spacious and well equipped with a lovely outdoor terrace, well shaded in the summer. It is adjacent to Erfan's farm with poultry and sheep- a dream for children ! There are wonderful views towards Carcassonne and the Pyrenees. Although in a quiet rural location, the nearby village of Cuxac Cabardes has an excellent bakery and a mini supermarket as well as a good restaurant. Carcassonne is within 25 minutes drive. I thoroughly recommend this wonderful retreat in the heart of the Montagne Noire.

Alles was daar ok, Een zeer rustige en prachtige locatie!! Je moet uiteraard een beetje tijd nemen als je ergens naartoe rijdt, maar dat weet je op voorhand. Je hebt echt de rust en kalmte van het buitenleven... ZALIG. De eigenaars wonen ernaast, zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam als er iets is. Een TOP locatie die ik iedereen aanbeveel!

Logement spacieux , Propre, propriétaires sympathiques. Belle vue. Animaux acceptés mais en laisse a l'extérieur. Pas de bain à remous (erreur site)

Super week end

Maison agréable et spacieuse pour un séjour entre amis. Un week end d'automne comme on les aime, la terrasse en plein soleil avec vue sur la chaine pyrennéene pour nos repas 🥰 et la cheminée pour les soirées chataignes. Un grand merci au proprio pour sa flexibilité des horaires entrée et sortie des lieux.

Domaine de la Calm says it all!

We have stayed in many home shares throughout the world but none more tranquil and peaceful than Domaine de La Calm. It rises more than 500 meters above the not too distant lights of Carcassonne with a spectacular 180 degree view of the Pyrenees. La Calm is utterly magical in the early morning sunrise and evening sunsets. Wow!! Efran could not be a more accommodating host and the home is very large, comfortable, very clean, fully stocked and perfect for a large family gathering. It is very accessible to Carcassonne, Lastours and the Minervois villages. Our two week stay was the most peaceful stay we have ever had in a home stay. highly recommend it!

Tres beau site au calme ...

Quel plaisir de passer une semaine en en lieu si calme. Une vue à couper le souffle, posé sur le flan du début des montagnes le gîte offre de l'espace, avec 3 belles chambres. Une grande pièce à vivre et un joli coin salon. En extérieur une belle terrasse ombragée pour profiter des belles soirées d'été... sous les mûrier platanes. En plus nos amis à 4 pattes sont acceptés, merci. L'accueil est agréable et plein de bienveillance. Merci et bonne aventure au nouveau propriétaire. A bientôt. Ps, très beau coin pour les amoureux du vélo, pic de Nore, montagne noir, Mazamet ville de Jalabert. De nombreux coin pour se baigner en-cas de forte chaleur.
