About this property

One of the most beautiful Villas of the Salzkammergut and best site of Bad Ischl

The holiday domicile is located on the second floor of the house. It consists of a small entrance area, a kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.The recent renovation has provided the apartment with all of today’s comforts while still preserving its historic charm. (The villa is a registered historic building.) The result offers the romance of stepping back in time but still feeling right at home.
Some of the furnishings are the originals from the 19th century.
The balcony is at tree-top level with wonderful views of the mountains Jainzen and Zimnitz, the Villa Seilern (Wellness hotel) and the “Kurhaus” (Theatre and Congress Centre) in the “Kurpark”.

The apartment is an ideal base for congresses, culture weekends or health resort holidays, but also for longer holidays wher the whole family can enjoy swimming, mountaineering or skiing.

The Garden:
With Kurpark nearby and woods, mountains and lakes in immediate surrounding there was (and is) no need of an own park which would necessitate an own gardener. So a small rose garden had been planted with a fountain in midst and a pavilion which invites to spend balmy summer evenings.

Parking:
If the car is not to big it is possible to park it in the garden, otherwise there is a public parking place just near the house.

The balcony has to be covered with a tarpaulin in winter. Therefore its use is only possible to a limited extent from about mid of November to mid of March.

    A charming third floor apartment in a vintage Austrian villa. Quiet morning coffees on the balcony were priceless. The host was kind and available for any questions or assistance that we needed. The location is an easy walk to the beautiful town center of Bad Ischl.

    Great place to stay!

    We enjoyed our stay at this property immensely. It was perfect for the size of our group (3) and had all the amenities necessary for our stay. The house is a newly renovated heritage house, very centrally located in Bad Ischl - you can walk everywhere! We were able to park our car at the property, which was a bonus! Our host was fabulous, very friendly and helpful, and even gave us tips about things to see "off the beaten path". We only stayed 2 nights and would stay here again. Definitely recommend!

    Rundreise Salzkammergut

    Für Gäste, die morgens aus dem Haus sind und abends wiederkommen, wie wir, war es in Bad Ischl und Umgebung sehr schön und erholsam. Für andere Gäste stört die Baustelle vor dem Haus, diese Angabe fehlte vor der Buchung.

    Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt hier, die Zeit hier war ihren Preis voll wert. Falls wir nochmal kommen sollten, dann mit Sicherheit ein paar Tage länger.

    Ausgangsort für Vieles

    Die Lage der Villa im Zentrum von Bad Ischl am Kurpark erlaubt kurze fußläufige Ausflüge in die schöne, verkehrsberuhigte Stadt zu jeder Zeit. Einzigartiger Stil der Jahrhundertwende prägt die Villa innen und außen und macht den Aufenthalt zu einem authentischen "k&k Erlebnis". 2 separate Schlafzimmer erlauben eine angenehme Zeit auch für Familien mit größeren Kindern. Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit in jeder Hinsicht (inkl. tolle Ausflugstipps). Die Stadt ist überdies der ideale Ausgangsort für die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten des Salzkammerguts. Rundum zufrieden.

    Baustelle in der Nähe

    Insgesamt war das Objekt in Ordnung. Nur leider fehlte in der Beschreibung der Hinweis, dass in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Großbaustelle ist. Man kann quasi Balkon und Blick aus dem Fenster nur bedingt genießen, weil man direkt auf die Baustelle schaut. :-(

    Ein wunderschönes Urlaubserlebnis

    Am wohl besten Standort der schönen Stadt Bad Ischl bietet diese Wohnung in einem ehrwürdigen historischen Haus ein wunderschönes Urlaubserlebnis. Überall, wo es darauf ankommt, ist die Wohnung hochmodern. Den Rahmen dazu bilden aber Elemente, die die rd. 150 Jahre Geschichte des Hauses in sympathischer Weise verdeutlichen. Herr und Frau Schodterer sind sehr angenehme und zugewandte Gastgeber. Sogar eine Parkberechtigung für die neun Tage unseres Aufenthalts haben sie besorgt, ohne dass dies Teil unserer Abmachungen gewesen wäre. Der Abschied aus der Wohnung „Zeitenreise“ ist uns schwergefallen.

    Perfekte Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage

    Unsere Zeit in Bad Ischl war ein absolutes Highlight, nicht zu letzt auf Grund der perfekten Ferienwohnung in der Villa Schodterer. Ein traumhaft historisches Gebäude in perfekter zentraler Lage mit Blick auf das Kurhaus und dem wunderschönen Kurpark. Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet und findet eine perfekte Balance zwischen Vintagecharme und moderner Ausstattung. Liebevolle Deko und interessante Kunstwerke geben zudem eine individuelle Note. Eine so saubere und gut ausgestattet Ferienwohnung haben wir selten erlebt. Auch die äußerst freundlichen Gastgeber möchte ich hervorheben. Wir können einen Aufenthalt uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Vielen Dank für diese traumhafte Zeit.

    stilvoller Aufenthalt

    Wir waren zwar nur für einen Kurzurlaub vor Ort, aber sowohl Ort, Landschaft, Kultur und im Besonderen das wunderschöne, historistische Gebäude haben uns absolut überzeugt, so dass wir gerne wiederkommen wollen. Die netten und hilfsbereiten Eigentümer wollen wir natürlich auch gerne lobend hervorheben. Alles in allem wirklich super und absolut zu empfehlen! P. S.     Unser Urlaub im Apartment Zeitenreise im Juni 2021

    Wir haben eine wunderschöne, äußerst gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung im Herzen Bad Ischl`s vorgefunden. Sie ist perfekt ausgestattet und war blitz sauber. Diese verfügt über einen Balkon und befindet sich in einer prachtvollen, aufwändig restaurierten Villa direkt gegenüber dem Kongress- und Theaterhaus. Sie liegt zentral, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit fußläufig erreichbar. Die Vermieterin ist sehr sympathisch und steht mit vielen Tipps und historischer Expertise immer zur Seite. Sehr empfehlenswert!

    unvergesslicher Urlaub

    In der wunderschön und stimmig sanierten historischen Villa mit supernetten Vermietern haben wir im September in dieser tollen Ggegend einen sehr abwechslungsreichen Urlaub erleben dürfen. Die gemütliche und super ausgestattete Ferienwohnung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir sind sehr froh, dass wir uns von Corona nicht abhalten ließen , unsern Urlaub anzutreten. Die unaufdringliche Disziplin in dieser Region ließ keine Zweifel an der Sicherheit aufkommen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen !!

    Mitten im Herz von Bad Ischl

    Wir wurden bei der Ankunft von den Hausherren herzlich und offen empfangen. Schnell lebten wir uns ein und genossen die wunderbare Ausgangslage für Wanderungen und Badeausflüge. Insbesondere den Balkon nutzten wir ausgiebig. Er lag immer im Schatten, so daß wir bei den heißen Temperaturen hier einen tollen Platz zum Frühstücken oder einfach zum Ausruhen hatten. Die Wohnung und die Villa hatten einen einen besonderen antiken Charme, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Außerdem war alles da, was man brauchte: eine große und umfangreiche Auswahl an Kochgeschirr und Utensilien, so dass man ohne Einschränkung Gerichte jeder Art kochen konnte, eine kleine Waschmaschine und einen Wäscheständer ( für Badesachen praktisch) und sogar ein Erster-Hilfe-Kasten. Die Betten waren super, die Matratzen angenehm hart, so wie wir es mögen. Handtücher gab es genug und alle Zimmer waren liebevoll eingerichtet, so wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Bäcker gibt es genug in unmittelbarer Umgebung, so dass man jeden Morgen frische Brötchen zum Frühstück genießen konnte. Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche mit traumhaften Temperaturen und Ausflügen erlebt. Vielen Dank noch Mal an Familie Schodterer.

    Tolles Appartment in zentraler Lage

    Ein sehr schön möbliertes Appartment in perfekter Lage in Bad Ischl. Wir waren mit unserer 4-jährigen Tochter dort. Sie hat sich besonders über die Begrüßungsschokolade und das nette Kinderzimmer gefreut. Sehr schöne alte Villa, nette Gastgeber.

    Our stay at Villa Schodterer

    This is a lovely period villa that is beautifully decorated. It is spacious and has everything you could need, including a washing machine. The location is perfect ... a quiet street but just a short walk through a lovely park to the old town centre. The hosts were friendly and available to answer any questions.

    Liebevoll gestalteter gepflegter KuK Charme in Traum-Umgegung

    Das rund 150 Jahre alte Objekt ist eine von wenigen gut erhaltenen Villen in Bad Ischl direkt gegenüber dem Konzerthaus und wurde vor ein paar Jahren technisch auf den aktuellen Stand gebracht. Dabei wurde liebevoll der Charme der KuK-Stil-Villa erhalten. Das Haus wird sogar in einschlägigen Fremdenführern als besonders sehenswert erwähnt. In der Wohnung selbst finden sich viele individuelle Details, die dem Aufenthalt die persönliche Note fernab von Standard-Ferienwohungen geben. Wir hatten das Glück, relativ spontan noch in eine frei gewordene Woche hineinrutschen zu können und haben diese bei fantastischem Wetter mit ausgiebigen Touren per Rad und Fuß in die Landschaft der Berge und Seen genossen. Die Vermieter standen hier hilfreich mit Tipps für die Tourplanung zur Verfügung. Alles in allem für uns eine wirklich runde Sache also und selbst bei weniger gutem Wetter wäre uns der Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung in schöner Erinnerung geblieben.
