We had a wonderful stay at the Duck House! It was very clean and incredibly comfortable. The location was very convenient, even though we barely had snow due to a bad snowfall year, the access to the slopes was super convenient and close. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home and would love to stay again!
The Duck House was great! Easy access to the slopes. Plenty of parking and beds. Great layout for cooking and eating as a group! The hosting company was a text away if we had questions.

Had three families with 10 teenagers. Great location for mountain access. The place worked perfect to stop for lunch and had plenty of space for us to gather as a group. Hot tub views were amazing.
The house was fantastic. Great location for skiing and getting into town, great layout for 3 families with kids, owner/management were fantastic to work with. Would highly recommend this house.
The house has a beautiful view and deck with hottub! Short walk to a free ride bus that takes you into town. Large kitchen and dining space that was more than enough for our large group! Plenty of sleep space and very clean- we enjoyed our stay in Breck at the Duck House
We really liked the living room and kitchen and dining areas. We could fit our entire group at the large dining room table. The ski-in ski-out access across the street was very convenient. Bedrooms would have been cramped if we had used all of the trundle beds.
Awesome place and location for a ski trip. Easy location for getting to slopes and back home at the end of the day. You have to cross one residential street on foot but about as ski in/out as it gets in Breck it seems. Plenty of space. Big kitchen. Hot tub and sauna were awesome.
A lovely, spacious getaway for our group of 10. Some of the plumbing needs a little work (drippy sinks in kitchen and downstairs bathrooms), but those were small things. Beautiful location, with ample indoor and outdoor dining and hangout space.
The Duck House was the perfect home for our ski weekend with friends. It accommodated our large group well -- with a great layout of beds, bathrooms, and spacious common areas. The listing pictures looked promising and it was even better in real life! The access to the mountain and downtown was very convenient. Would highly recommend this home!
We had the best time at the Duckhouse! The beds were all great and we comfortably fit 17 people in the house. Kitchen was well stocked and the two dishwashers were a huge perk. Would 100% recommend!

On the older side but a terrific house. We had a very good stay.
Overall the house provided a pleasant stay and accommodated our large family of 16 well! There were two ovens, two dishwashers, two refrigerators and two freezers which was great considering we bought groceries and cooked 90% of our meals. There were plenty of spices provided and even some other basics like cooking oil, parchment paper, coffee filters and coffee. The only thing we were caught off guard is that the cleaners didn’t clean a room that had obvious signs of someone who wet the bed and neither bed in that room was made upon arrival. A few suggestions we have for the property are:- provide more trash bags and paper towels- a hose would have been nice to fill up the hot tub with since it was low instead of having to wait on the hot tub company -the upstairs bathtub jets do not work-filter in the fridge was on red status and needed to be changed-dishwasher wheels were broken in one dishwasherWe stayed during a year when it was 50* during the day and very little snow and therefore ski in/out wasn’t really a possibility. The hill across from the house was melted, so we walked down it to the four o’clock run or we had one of our crew drive us up the road 1/8 mile which drops you off above near Rips Ride lift and the magic carpets. It’s just a short drive down to the town and city market and not too far to the outlets in Dillon for our day off skiing. All in all a good stay and we would recommend staying here.

We understand you discovered a dried spot on the bedding, and while we offered to have our cleaning crew come back immediately, we appreciate that you handled it yourselves and brought it to our attention. We shared your message with our cleaning team to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.
Thank you as well for your helpful suggestions regarding trash bags, paper towels, the hot tub hose, the upstairs bathtub jets, fridge filter, and dishwasher wheels — we’ll be addressing these items to improve the experience for future guests.
We appreciate your flexibility with the ski conditions. Colorado experienced an unusually warm winter and very low snowpack, resulting in limited natural snow and conditions that were challenging for ski access compared with a typical year. Our big group loved it here so much we returned for a second Thanksgiving. The kitchen has everything you need for a huge feast. Location couldn't be better...a quick walk to the slopes and ski all the way to the door on your way home. Plenty of room to spread out. We love the huge dining room table that fits our entire group for game nights!

The house was very spacious. The layout was good for our family. The ice on the driveway was a problem that was not addressed. It was difficult getting in and out of the cars with so much ice near the garage. I did not like the polyester sheets on the beds. Yuck! I’d go back if they changed the bedding to cotton. The sun was blinding during the morning in the family room. Blinds would be nice to control the sunlight.

Our group was 4 small families, and we had plenty of room to hang out, extra bunks, etc. Large private hot tub was key for after skiing! Nice house but lots of things didn't work quite right. Sauna broken, one dishwasher kept stopping, maintenance crew has to come to fix toilet and beeping smoke alarm. Management company was fast to respond to some items, ignored others. Location great for ski-in/ski-out, but not walkable to town sadly.

I have zero complaints about this property. It exceeded our expectations. Had every and anything we could have asked for! Kitchen was equipped, blankets, sleds, cozy and comfy. More than enough room for 12 ladies on a bachelorette. The location was perfect. Right in between peak 8 and down town. A short walk to the free shuttle bus. Sauna was amazing! Hot tub was wonderful. The view is really lovely! We didn’t need instructions for the hot tub, check in, fireplace and sauna. Wood have been nice to have that information before hand but anytime we contacted them they got back with us immediately!! This place just made my bachelorette the best weekend it could have been!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Duck House. Plenty of space for all of our family, including 6 grandkids! The house is walkable to Peak 8 and the Breck Connect gondola to main street. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and prepare your meals. It was as though I was in my own home. All of the break out spaces allowed us to be together without being on top of each other.The property company was very responsive and always available. They even provided good tips for Breckenridge while we stayed there.I would come back again to stay here. Thank you Duck House!

Disappointment at the Duck House

Our primary reason for selecting the Duck House was that it was supposed to be ski in ski out. When you have to walk across 2 roads carrying your skis, put them on, ski down an unformed trail, ski a bit more to a bridge, remove your skis and walk across a bridge and up a hill, put skis back on to get onto the Snowflake lift, that is not in anyone’s estimation ski in ski out to the Snowflake life as it was advertised. The bedding was horrible and uncomfortable in every room, the furniture flimsy, the directions to return through neighbors yards nonexistent and overall certainly not worth $30,000.
