We share our tropical oasis with Mochi and Courly, our two friendly rescue dogs who enjoy gentle interactions with guests.

Our lush garden is also home to local wildlife including iguanas, parrots, squirrels, hummingbirds, and Tobago’s national bird, the Cocrico.

We strive to create a welcoming environment for both guests and the natural beauty around us. If you prefer accommodations without animals or nearby wildlife, this property may not be the ideal fit.

This place was paradise. The host greeted us upon arrival and some food essentials to get us settled (bread, juice, water, butter, eggs, etc). This was very much welcomed as we arrived late in the day and wanted to relax. The view and house were both amazing.

Simply the best vacation ever!

This place is just perfect. The yard is beautiful and well maintained. The beach is one of the best we have seen. You can snorkel right in front, take waves and play on the beach. We felt safe at all.time. we never had a better hosts than Ashley and Christian. They are helpfull in making the trips perfect. We are definately planning to.go back and would highly recommend this place!

This property exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking oceanfront views and the soothing sound of the waves right outside our window. The saltwater pool was a luxurious touch—clean, refreshing, and perfect for a relaxing dip any time of day. The home itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. It was the kind of quiet that instantly melts stress away. Waking up to the sunrise over the water and falling asleep to the gentle sound of the ocean was pure bliss. If you’re looking for a serene, scenic escape with all the comforts of home and the beauty of nature right at your doorstep, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

Ash was born with hospitality in her veins. She responded to any question we had within a minute, and she goes way above and beyond with advice and connections to help guests navigate a new country. I won't detail all the help she gave us because I don't want to take that much space - but she's a lovely person. The view from the private terrace (the pool below, the sea beyond the gate) is spectacular. Though there were other guests, we still felt like we had total privacy. Everything about this stay was so thoughtful, including the amazing "breakfast starter" welcome, which made a huge difference. Also, everything was spotlessly clean. We had a little trouble navigating our way there, but Ash answered the phone instantly and guided us there.

Situated approximately 6 km from Scarborough ( 15 mins drive) and 8 km from the A.N.R. Robinson International Airport ( 20 mins drive) , Black Rock is easily accessible yet retains a relaxing, laid-back environment.


Beaches & Nature
The area boasts stunning beaches like Great Courland Bay ( 30 footsteps from our pool) and Stonehaven Bay, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. The area is also know from "One Pool" which is a natural formation due to the rock creating a natural pool that is always shallow.

Historical Significance
Fort Bennett, built in the 17th century by the Latvians ( Courlanders) , overlooks Grafton Beach and Courland Bay and offers panoramic views of the coastline.

With a population of around 1,900, Black Rock is a close-knit community. The village celebrates its heritage and laid-back lifestyle. No one is in a hurry!
