Unit 5305 is located on the third floor of the complex and features one bedroom and one full bath. With the help of a sleeper sofa in the living room, this unit can sleep up to 4 guests comfortably. The main living space boasts an open concept floor plan and offers high end furnishings with modern fixtures. The kitchen and dining areas feature beautiful wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, a 4-person dining table, and a breakfast bar for added seating. The living room features ample seating, a flat screen TV, and access to a private balcony. This is the perfect space to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, long chats with loved ones, or a beautiful sunset near the Bay.

This bayside gem features a master bedroom with king bed, flat screen TV, and en suite bath. This bathroom, which can also be accessed from the main living space, is equipped with a double vanity, large bowl sinks, tile backsplash, and tub/shower combo. Just off this space, you will find the washer/dryer tucked away in a hall closet.

When you’re ready to enjoy the Gulf sun, pack a bag, jump on the SANDESTIN GOLF AND BEACH RESORT® tram, and take a quick ride to the sugar white sands of the beach. Just a short drive away, paradise awaits! If you’re looking for even more sun time, check out the community pool.

Great Spot for Families

My family of 3 enjoyed our stay. This is our second time staying near Baytown and it’s great to be in walking distance of shops, dining, and entertainment. We loved the grounds and the pools are great. The room itself was small but perfect for two adults and a toddler. Overall it was clean but we did notice the light fixtures over the kitchen table were dusty but other than that the room was very clean. Communication with management was easy as well as check in and departure.

Had to walk all the way around front to meet pizza guy. Unit could've been a bit more tidy. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves.

It’s $10 for parking in the garage for the whole stay which is nice because it’s covered parking and convenient to rooms for packing and unpacking. Only downside to the garage is the spaces are small. Larger trucks had difficulty. Room was really nice except for the ac not going under 70 degrees. So if you like a colder room I wouldn’t recommend it. Vacation haven was excellent with correspondence. Definitely recommend them.

Our room was very nice and clean. We absolutely enjoyed the location and the property was beautiful. Finding our way to the room took longer than necessary as it is a gated community and we were stopped and sent to the Resort office. The only recommendation we have is a new mattress for the bed. My husband and I were so uncomfortable after the third night I ended up sleeping on the couch.

The private condo/apartment was very nice offered basic amenities. The sofa bed was standard and fine for my young kids, but very uncomfortable for an adult. Plenty of bath towels and a small welcome kit was available. I do wish there was more body soap/shampoo available. The garage parking was only available for one day, which made coming and going a chore because the general parking was about a 10 minute walk. Overall, the property was beautiful and a simple commute to the beach and local destinations. Sandestin is wonderful for families and we would definitely stay again if looking for entertainment for the kids.

The location and unit were as advertised. There were some things that took away from the overall experience. The bathroom had sand on the floor when we arrived. The air conditioning unit went out twice. The king bed was rock hard and not very comfortable. Everything else was great!

Very convenient for walking to Baytowne Wharf.

Far enough to not be bothered by the evening noise of the bustling Baytowne Wharf area but close enough to walk to and from it. The beach area provided by Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is too small for the amount of people staying at the resort so the beach is very crowded. There was only about 2 feet of space between our blanket and that of the other people around us. This was a drastic difference from the last time we were here 4 yrs ago. But this has more to do with the resort as a whole, not this specific condo unit. However, there are other beach options only 5-10 min away from the resort that we’re not nearly as crowded. Best beaches in the continental U.S!

Exceeded Expectations

VRBO is the only way we will vacation in the future! This place was absolutely perfect. Fresh, modern, spotlessly clean. Conveniently located just a few short steps outside the Village of Baytowne Wharf entrance. Check in is a breeze if you are comfortable using text messaging. Be sure to follow all instructions that are sent to you via email. Also, pay the $10 to get the parking pass (QR code) for the garage, you'll want this! This particular condo worked out perfectly for us. It is not ocean side, but it is conveniently located for access to the village, marina, and golf courses, which aligned better with our interest. It is a short walk to the village and marina, but it is NOT walking distance to the beach/ocean. Not a big deal because they do include shuttle bus passes located on lanyards inside the room. Remember, this is a 2,400 acre resort property. The shuttle is perfect for getting around. We were really happy with our stay here. Reviewer Comments: I had several issues with this property, upon arrival we could not get in the parking garage and the after hours employee was no help at all in fact he said” well there’s nothing I can do for you” thankfully the sandestin security was able to get us in, the floors had sand all over them as if they hadn’t been cleaned at all, there were no blankets, the tvs didn’t work, and no Wi-Fi. I had left messages with the after hours crew about the TV as well as left messages on the answering machine with no return call. I have also left several messages with staff regarding my issues with the property/stay for the manager to call me and I haven’t heard back. I have rented through my vacation haven for several years now but the last 2 years have no been good and the customer service has went down hill.

Great little place in Baytown

I booked this little condo for a family vacation to Destin. It was a great little place for myself and conveniently located to where my family was staying in the center of Baytown Wharf. This unit was in the Elation building and was just far enough from the nightlife and noise. It's close to a great pool (if that's your thing) and it has an elevator in the building, which to me was a huge perk. Overall my stay was great. The bed was very big and comfy, the condo was spacious, and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans if I had decided to cook. There were a few things that bothered me though, such as communication with the property managers through VRBO was almost non-existent. I asked for a wifi password (which I was told I wouldn't need) because I had work to do, and it took them two days to get back to me, which meant I had to travel to get WiFi to do my work. I also reached out to see if I could extend my trip and I received no response from anyone, which I think is not only disappointing, but rude and unprofessional. Also, there were ZERO rugs in this unit. I know that's an odd complaint, but it felt very cold and not very homey without one rug in the whole unit. The last problem that I had was that the shower curtain on the inside of the shower was filthy. There was a pink residue and it looked like it had never been cleaned. As well as black mold/mildew in the grout of the shower. The app that they make you download doesn't work either and continuously crashes.
