We loved staying here for our ski weekend. The location is ideal for skiing at Snow Summit. We also found a hiking trail with access just a block away. (Town trail.) James was easy to contact, but we had no real issues... just wondering where the lighter was to light the fireplace! It was a wonderful stay.
Everything was perfect. Easy to get to, check in and out were painless, location couldn’t have been better and had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!
Couldn't park both cars due to snow bank in parking lot and the residents from the building next door (on the corner) parking in front of our condo even though their parking spots were open. Our 2nd car ended up leaving the same day.
Two of my kids wanted to do a quick ski trip over President's Day Weekend. After a quick search and doing some reviews of Snow Summit where parking is a pain, it just so happened that I came across this property. James, the property manager was the most responsive property manager I've ever come across and he was quick to answer any and all questions before the booking and after I booked. It was the easiest process and James was the reason.
As for the property, it's probably the best place for 2-5 persons for visiting Snow Summit. It's right there at the resort base and a 5-minute walk to the slopes as you walk out your condo with your own private parking spot, and walk past all of the people who are struggling to park and get to the resort.
It's a clean place, 2-story, and has a full kitchen and a great balcony to sit and enjoy the sunset as you watch the ski slopes after a full day of skiing. You can also easily walk back for night skiing or hit up downtown restaurants as it's a short drive to downtown Big Bear.
I would stay here again anytime I'm headed to Big Bear Snow Summit.

Glen was a great guest and really appreciative. it always a pleasure to host someone that appreciates the extra efforts you try to provide so the guest has a great experience. hopefully i have the chance to host him again
This was by far the worse experience we have had. In the description of the cabin which is actually a condo it states that there is a private fence in yard and private balconies. Both are not true. I took my dogs with me so it was important to have a fence in yard. There was NO yard at all we had to walk our dogs in order for them to use the bathroom. The back porch light was not working. The cabin was filthy. One of the stair moldings was hanging off which caused my husband to trip and the staples were sticking out. The sofa bed that was advertised as a bed was very gross and no sheets or blankets were provided for it. The coffee pot had an old coffee filter in it that was moldy. The chairs were broke and very dirty. My husband and I booked this for 2 nights as a way to relax and instead we got this. We wanted to leave the same night but we do not drive after night so we had to stay that night but we left very early morning we did not stay for the rest of the time. I messaged the owner with all my concerns that morning and let him know we left and he still has not reached out. I would Not recommend this place.
Property owner double booked on another site and never informed me
Property owner double booked the property through another site and apparently didn’t update his calendar or inform me of the double booking. I called after driving to the property for access and that’s when I was informed. It was President’s Day weekend so no other last minute suitable properties available. We drove 5.5 hours round trip and had lift tickets and equipment pre-paid and now last the refund deadline. To boot this was on my birthday that we celebrate in Big Bear every year. Just all around terrible experience with this property owner. He did call me when we were off the mountain to say he had another property available but by then it was too late. The property looks nice I think, if you don’t get double booked. Poor management of the property and listing.
