I was a Sales Executive in technology and my wife owned high end sandwich stores. Our kids are now gone to college and we cherish the decade plus of memories we have had with them here.
Why they chose this property
We grew up in the Midwest (Michigan and Minnesota) and always loved the mountains. We fell in love with the Lake Tahoe area from our first visit and were one of the first to purchase into the first 5-Star property in the area.
What makes this property unique
The Ritz Carlton does all of the little things right and have made the property very family and/or adult friendly. This is our home away from home and you have a lot of different options from taking the gondola down to the village for ice skating or multiple dining options, cooking in the residence, room service, or going to the resort for fine or casual dining. Wii rentals are free and the hotel has a daily S'more event that is a must.
