Great location for Bear Mountain Resort. About a 5 minute walk to the lifts which is very convenient. The house was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The attached garage was a nice to have. It was overall a great stay but there were few minor issues. The forced air unit is adjacent to the upstairs bedroom and very loud when it turns on. It woke me up many times throughout the night. The downstairs bed was comfortable but bedframe squeaked with little movement. The dryer vent was disconnected so I called for maintenance but it never got fixed and wasn't able to use it. I understand it was a busy holiday weekend but there was no follow up.

We had to change property at the last minute so we didn’t stay in Tee and Ski. Stayed in another property called Ollie’s Cabin. Beautiful but not well equipped! Destinatio Big Bear did a great job resolving all issues

Great spot near bear!

A clean, cozy and comfy spot walking distance to bear. Checkin process was a bit odd, having to go to the office just to be text an access code, but it was quick and nearby. Would stay here again!

Stayed for 4th of July weekend. Great location, close to town & loved the tennis courts. The property was spacious and had everything we needed! Hosts were very helpful - our wifi was down the first day and they had someone come fix it and provided us with a hotspot immediately. Would stay again!

Awesome getaway right by Bear Mountain

Loved staying here. Location was perfect, just a stroll from Bear Mountain. I could bring kids back for a nap and then head back to shred! (Thanks hubby for staying behind. ;) ) Rooms and amenities were great for us (family of 4). Looks like it was recently updated/painted. Kids loved it--including the Roku TV where they could watch some familiar kids shows while parents got dinner ready after a fun active day outside. The managing company, Destination Big Bear, has always made things easy for us (including a one day free beginner rental at GoBoards!) Definitely recommend. :)

The condo was very well equipped and very clean. Also nicely furnished. It was perfect for us and we had a great time. Just a heads up - there is really only one parking spot and that is in the garage. The garage is small - no problem for our Subaru Outback, but probably would not work for a pickup or large SUV. There is no on- street parking and the driveway is only about 5-6 feet in length. Very quiet location with a nice patio and working grill.

We loved the location and the quiet neighborhood. Nice area near by to walk our dog. An easy walk to Bear Mtn. The rental management was great. Very informative. The unit itself could have been cleaner all around and the kitchen could use a little TLC and updating of some of the utensils. I found a large live spider in my bed the first night so that sort of blew it for me.

Excellent Location and Property

Location was great property was as advertised and we enjoyed our hassle free stay. Only thing I would caution is that the driveway was not large enough to park our Toyota Highlander and the garage was too short for it to fit within with our Thule roof box on. So we had to park in a spot around the corner. Minor inconvenience to us and we have already discussed returning to this property, but be aware of this is a show stopper for you.

Grandma's House?

The property was clean and the furniture was large and comfortable. The property reminded me of staying at a grandma's house that hasn't updated appliances since the 1980's. Everything worked and was very clean but makes you a bit nervous to use anything not knowing if you'll be the one to break it after all these years. Also, it is not possible to park in front of the garage and not hang out into the road unless you have a smart car or some other kind of mini car. You should not have more than 1 vehicle trying to stay at this location and make sure it's small enough to squeeze into a very small garage. Lucky we found another place to park down the street with our second vehicle. We felt very comfortable in our wanna-be grandma's house, just glad nothing broke and wish we had a bowl of caramels.

Nice place!

We enjoyed our stay, but definitely learned that we need to ask certain questions in the future when we rent VRBO's. The location IS close to a mountain where you can ski, but it is not close to Snow Summit where we had planned to ski and purchased lift tickets in advance. We know now that there are two mountains which wasn't clear to us before. Our intention was to be able to walk to the ski resort. Oh well, you live and learn. The master bed mattress is a foam mattress so it runs really hot. Might not be the best for some people. The mattress in the guest room is an old school coil mattress and my kids were so uncomfortable in it that they had to sleep on the large beanbag in the living room and on the couch. There really is only one spot to park and it's in the garage which is incredibly hard to get your car in and out of if you have an SUV. Not impossible, but it's incredibly tight! I would say that this property is best for maybe just one couple, no kids. Oh, we also had a really tough time getting the tv in the main living room to work. The kids ended up just watching tv in the guest room downstairs. Those are just some areas that might need improvement. Otherwise, very clean and the pics depict it well.

The house was lovely and clean in a quiet neighborhood outside of town. Pet friendly as well. Wonderful fireplace, comfy beds, tvs and the living room was a perfect hangout.

Great family ski vacation!

This was the perfect place for our family ski vacation with my wife and two adult daughters. The location is perfect, and the condo was very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. We really like the gas fireplace and enjoyed working on the puzzles. Having garage parking was a huge bonus! We have been going to big bear once or twice a year for many years, and this was our favorite place yet. Looking forward to coming back! Thank you!
