We’re glad you enjoyed the stay and remarked on the cleanliness. We inspected the house fully afterward and saw spring bugs outside on the deck (not inside) and have since sprayed all around the base of the house and deck. If you book again we’ll do so specifically for you!
Great place to stay! Close to the lake and everything about the house is charming and welcoming. The host was perfectly pleasant and helpful. Would recommend staying here for a great weekend of fun!
A hidden gem! So glad we stumbled upon this property. Modern, picture perfect farmhouse. Very clean and family friendly. Secluded for a restful getaway. Highly recommend!
This is our second time staying here and we have already booked for next year. It has everything that you could need or want.
The kitchen is the most well equipped house where I have ever stayed. The proximity to the lake is wonderful.
The property was just great. Very cozy and the beds were extremely comfortable. Owner went out of his way to bring us coffee that had been overlooked. Very secluded and private
I was impressed with how well preserved the home was. I didn't notice if it was there but a little house history would have been fun to know. Like what year it was built. Our stay was lovely. This has been a difficult year for my family, a lot of heartbreak & heartache. This was a nice opportunity for my adult son, adult daughter and her 10 year old son, and my husband, their step father, to spend time together, for us to all have a change of senery and just enjoy being together.

We’re glad the time away was a help to you and your family and you enjoyed the stay. We’ll try to find the house history and put that in the binder. If there is anything that would have made your stay more pleasant, please let us know.
This place is wonderful from the coffee bar to the fully stopped kitchen to the updated bathrooms to comfortable beds the wide open spaces outside the nice deck and the walking trails I've stayed at many places and I have to say this is one of my favorite and one of the cleanest I've ever stayed at thank you so much Jason and family simply beautiful.

What a delightful and kind set of things to say! We’re really happy you enjoyed the stay so much a fun look forward to hosting you again soon.
Absolutely charming and clean property. Super peaceful location. Everything as promised on the listing. We loved it. And we hope to rent it sometime in the future. Great communication from the owner Jason.
Such a cute old farmhouse with just the right amount of modernization. Peaceful setting without having to drive on beat up back roads. The bedding is fabulously soft and cozy. We will absolutely be back.
We had a wonderful experience with the house. There was a nasty storm that ran through the area and a tree landed on the porch. The property manager sent someone out immediately to assist late at night. Exceptional service! We had family come enjoy a fire one evening and the kids loved it. After a long day on the lake, it was nice to be able to have a close place to rest and recharge. Strongly recommend this lovely place to all.
Nice cozy house near Brookville lake! Easy access to stores. Close to public access to lake. Easy to find. Beds were comfortable. Only thing thought we could access the lake from the house an couldn’t, because of barrier put up from neighbors.
3 busy moms needed a break. We wanted something away from the craziness of life. This house was perfect for just that. Out in the country where the sky was full of stars, the sounds of nature around you and walking distance to the lake. Ready for next year!
We had a great time celebrating a birthday at this house with our family. We were impressed with the cleanliness and farm house feel of this home. It was easy to get to the lake to play. Nearby Ainsley’s was perfect for dinner out. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make the rest of our meals at home. We were disappointed that the trail to the lake was overgrown…That was a minor thing though-we had a great stay and would absolutely return!
A nice sized house with everything that you could want. Nice location. Very quiet. Central air conditioning with a much appreciated window unit in one of the upstairs bedrooms. 2 nicely sized bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms. WiFi was sufficient for everything that we needed. Close to Brookville Lake and restaurants ... my twin sister and I enjoyed exploring the area with lots of covered bridges and quaint shops. Highly recommend the rental.
We had a great stay. Jason was responsive when we had questions and directions were very clear. The restored farmhouse was clean and comfortable. One day was cold and we stayed in to watch TV. Glad we had our adult sons with us to show us how to turn up the volume on the remote - side buttons. We walked to the Reservoir and enjoyed the rocky beach and the view - too cold to swim. We brought wood for a fire and enjoyed a lovely evening star gazing, catching up and making S'mores. Well stocked kitchen including a meat thermometer. Thanks you for your hospitality.
My husband and I had a delightful stay at this property. The renovated farmhouse is beautiful with great detail taken to preserving the home's past. It was well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Towels, linens, soaps, and a coffee bar were all provided. It's in a very secluded, private location yet close to everything that Brookville has to offer such as boat ramps, horseback riding, dining, and shopping. Jason was very prompt in answering any questions we had. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
