SKI IN - Meadows Rustic Studio w/ Modern Amenities

Newly Remolded Studio is located in Meadows building, very short walk to Kirkwood Village & main mountain access (Chairs 6/5/10/11/1). Private covered parking with elevator access. Only condo building with a hot tub PLUS wood fireplace, deck with mountain views, full size kitchen, high speed T1 line WIFI, high-quality king bed, couch that folds out, ski locker, waxing station & cross-country skiing trails out the door. Also a communal BBQ, open great room & coin-operated laundry facilities.

The space
It's one of the only units at Kirkwood to have everything. The radiant heated studio comes with a full size kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, free firewood, WIFI, high-quality King bed & couch, ski locker, hot tub, (Closed due to Covid), covered underground parking with elevator access, deck with mountain views, HBO/Netflix/Prime access and. In the unit you will find a rustic wood inspired design with brand new amenities all around. Also included is access to a communal gas burning grill (always stocked), coin-operated laundry facilities, a large great room with two-sided fireplace, large tables and super comfy chairs to relax in...perfect for entertaining guests. The studio is about 220 yards to the Kirkwood Village and main mountain access, a short walk to the lifts and you can ski-in right to the front door of the building from chair 6 or chair 7. There are also groomed cross-country skiing trails right out the back door of the building. The free Kirkwood shuttle picks up in front of the building giving you transport to the Kirkwood General Store, Kirkwood Village and Timber Creek, the beginner learning area (chair 7 and Bunny lift).

Early/Late check in/out policy:
When we can accommodate, an early or late check out can be made available for a $50 fee. The reason we charge this fee is because Kirkwood has the highest utility costs in the country.

Explanation of $120 cleaning fee:
I had a guest complain about it so I thought I would explain the details behind the cost. I actually pay the cleaner $140 per clean because of the remote location of the unit, 45 minute drive from the nearest town, where most locals live. Due to the remote location it is hard to find reliable folks, so when you do, you pay them fair wages! So just FYI, I eat $20 each time the unit is cleaned to make sure it is done right and ready to go when guests arrive.

* please note that we do not give refunds due to inclement weather or road conditions… Kirkwood is a very remote place and if you’re not prepared to travel in the snow, do not book our unit!

Guest access
You can access the entire building, parking area, hot tub (Closed due to Covid), stocked firewood, ski locker room, washer & dryer facilities and anywhere on the property that is a common area.

Kirkwood ski trip

Our stay at kirkwood was very nice. The property was very clean and within walking distance to ski slopes. This studio has all updates and is beautiful. We cooked dinner every night in our room plenty of kitchen utensils. One thing we noted there is very little space for putting clothes. No dresser or drawers to put your things away. We will be back.

BEWARE Fraud incidental charges

I stayed here for one night and the host messaged me the next day saying the wooded chest was broken, he sent me a picture of a clean break in the top. The chest was opened ONE time to get sheets out of it & was in perfect condition when I left. I was charged 200$ for it and now am doing an appeal with VRBO.. beware staying here, the host scams people for their money. Make sure you take ALOT of pictures to have evidence of how the place was when you left so you don’t end up in a situation like I’m currently in.

Great place for 2, but not for 3 as advertised

This is a great place in a great location Be warned, there is no bedding for the pullout sofa, so I don't recommend this place for 3 people. It is perfect for 2 people that can share the king bed though!

Great property, but hard to reach manager

The property was fine, but the manager did not respond to texts or phone calls for over 24 hours despite a mixup in room assignments during a major snow storm. Very frustrating and lost a whole day of skiing over it. The room was great and location ideal.

This property is un like any other. With so many details and artistic flare. We wanted to create an experience when you enter our Studio and I believe we did. Warm and cozy yet captivating and inspiring. The lifts are just steps away and shuttles stop at the building regularly. Great room to gather and meet or just to take some space if needed. The unit comes with a locker to keep your skis and boards safe and out of the way. Communal Hot-tub for a nice soak after an epic shred day on the mountain. *** YES DUE TO COVID THIS FEATURE IS TEMPORALY UNAVALIBLE. Good news this unit comes with an amazing shower triple heads with a rain shower. All New All Clean. The kitchen is a full size with great cooking space. Workstation with charger ports and a CONVENITLY located Resort Map for you to plan out the shred lines for the next trip on the slopes. This unit really has it all and plus some.
