Very large and open downstairs area made gor perfect setting for our large group and several family that made a day trip to see us. Nice shaded sitting areas. Will definitely consider staying there again when our family converges to visit our West Point cadet

Sheila is a wonderful & responsive host. The property is even more gorgeous than the photos can really convey. The neighborhood is very peaceful and the yards are big & lush. The pool was incredible and there were PLENTY of towels which really came in handy for a weekend of all of us swimming & showering.

A beautiful home, very welcoming, extremely clean, and updated but kept in the time period that house was built 1880’s. The hostess was very easy to get in touch with and very friendly. Thank you we had a wonderful Yearly Friends of Reunion.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my wife’s birthday with friends. Communication and check-in was clear and efficient. The house looks even better than it does in the photos! We accidentally left behind some important gifts and Sheila was very kind to ship them back to us. We really appreciate it because they were priceless gifts.We would love to stay again sometime especially with how easy it is to get there from NYC.

This property was perfect for our family. We had a family wedding in Haverstraw so Stony Point was a perfect location. The extra rooms on the main floor was the perfect location for the bride and her two brides maids to prep and dress!!

The host was very responsive and accommodating and the home was very beautiful and good accommodations. Some minor feedback of things we noticed: some of the light switches were broken or didn’t turn on, the stove needed a lighter to turn on and the oven and fridge didn’t work on full force. Other than that, the home and the pool were much bigger than the pictures showed and we were very pleasantly surprised. Sheila was extremely accommodating with both early check in and late check out. We would highly recommend staying here!

This is a spacious house that is perfect for entertaining a large group. We hosted family and friends for West Point graduation. The place is eccentric with bottles used for light covers and a door table in the family room. The owner has a large working office on the main floor with desks, documents, whiteboards, etc.

Communication with Sheila was excellent. The property is very interesting, built in 1880!!! Plenty of room for all of us their for our future daughter-in-laws shower. Property was very clean and photos very accurate. Enjoyed our weekend and would return again!

We enjoyed the older charm, comfy beds and clean, plush towels. Wrap around porch, huge living and kitchen space - excellent!Couple minor callouts: could use more hooks in rooms and bathrooms. Lighting and electric outlets are sparse but expected with older home. Nice location & Proximity to Manhattan - 1 hour. West Point and Bear Mtn - within 30 minutes. Host is great to work with and gave good recommendations to restaurants: we tried host-recommended Jay’s pizza. It was great!This was the perfect venue for our couple’s weekend. Thank you Sheila!

Wonderful stay!

Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We stayed here with three families (grandparents, parents, teen and kids) and there was lots of space for everyone and in a terrific space. Great inside and out! And lots to do within a 30 minute drive if you want to explore. We enjoyed Storm King!

Wedding Party rental

Gorgeous huge home perfect for family gathering

We had an amazing stay over Christmas! The house was even decorated for the holidays. Highly recommend for a large family or group of friends looking for a great home for entertaining. The large open kitchen, dining room, and living room were perfect!
