Great, great rental and Abbe and Jeff are extraordinary hosts. The property has so much character and we loved exploring the house and surrounding areas. The water feature in the front is beautiful as is the well in the backyard. Highly recommend for groups or weddings looking for somewhere to post up!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our West Point cadet. The house was nice and big for our extended family. We especially loved the pool area and that we could sit around the dining room table together for meals. It was great to cook in the kitchen too since our cadet just wanted to relax with family at the house.

A great family home!

The location and layout of the home is perfect for family gatherings. Our family loved the pool and hot tub. It is a short drive to West Point. Abbe and Jeff are attentive, involved hosts.

Blown away

Abbe and Jeff are the best hosts I've ever had. I've stayed at many places but this one is by far the best place anyone can stay at. World class service, everything was spotless; the hosts were always available to help. Will definitely be staying again!

Family vacation

Our extended family of 16 had plenty of room to relax and enjoy our time together. There are many wonderful activities to do in the area, and the large pool was enjoyed by all. Abbe and Jeff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs.

Mansion on the Hill

We had 17 for Thanksgiving and this was the perfect place. Everything was as advertised and Abbe and Jeff are the best hosts we’ve had in over 15 rentals. Game room was fantastic for our ping pong tournament!

Family Reunion

Abbe made it easy to stay here. She was super accommodating and answered all of our questions. The house is well stocked for entertaining: serving trays, large bowls, bar cart. Check in and check out was a breeze. It was a wonderful weekend with the entire family under one roof.

Thanksgiving family gathering

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home for our Thanksgiving this year. Abbe and Jeff were extremely accommodating from the minute we booked our stay and all throughout. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable. This was the perfect house for our large family gathering. It had everything we could have asked for. Great stay with family

Our extended family (15 people and 2 dogs) stayed at this property for the fourth of July 2023 week. We all had a great time. From the beginning, all went well. The house was spotless. The kids spend much of the time in the pool, which they cleaned daily. Abbe and Jeff stopped by to see if we needed anything, and left useful notes (eg what switches turned on which lights; good place to eat in the neighborhood). We would highly recommend this for a relaxing stay.

We stayed at Orchard Hill Estate in November, and it was truly one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. The home itself is absolutely beautiful — spacious, comfortable, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed. Everything we needed was accessible, and it felt welcoming from the moment we walked in.What made our stay exceptional, though, were the hosts, Abbe and Jeff. They went above and beyond in every way. Abbe personally helped us find great local restaurants, guided us through arranging grocery delivery, checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed, and even helped us collect something we left behind upon our departure. Magical family reunion

It was a dream to be able to stay together at Abbe and Jeff’s gorgeous home. The house was pristine, yet cozy and comfortable. It lended itself perfectly to our large multigenerational family. The pool was spectacular. We enjoyed large family style meals together. There are so many great spaces throughout the house to be able to come together and spend time together. The bedrooms were perfect. Abbe and Jeff were incredibly gracious, helpful, and accommodating. It couldn’t have been a more wonderful stay in a gorgeous setting.

Wonderful House, Amenities and Hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. There was a ton of space for our group to have their own spaces when not spending time together in the many sitting and living rooms, porches and dining room. Plus, these were the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in! The pool, hot tub and poolhouse were well equipped (we especially loved the oversized pool floats) and is where we spent most of our days when we weren't hiking, shopping and eating at all the wonderful restaurants, many recommended to us by the hosts. Abbe and Jeff are lovely and were very accommodating and responsive if we had any questions about anything. We would happily return here again.

Wonderful Home!

We rented this property for a weekend birthday celebration. The house was large enough to accommodate and entertain our large family. We appreciated that there was an entry level bedroom for a family member who could not manage stairs, a large dinning table that fit all our guests, toys for the kids, lots of room to spread out, two grills, pool table, frogs in the pond, pool, hot tub, fire pit, and so much more. Our hosts were super sweet and attentive to all our needs. They made their home feel like our home! Thank you for sharing with us!!! We left with many wonderful memories.

Perfect for Family Reunion

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Orchard Hill Estate this July. We were a group of 14, ages 10-75. There was something for everyone. The pool was great- we sat by it day and when it was lit up at night it was a nice place to hangout. The kids game room was awesome- tons of space for board games, ping pong and video games- so spacious! Fun for all of the cousins to share one big room! Really nice to be somewhere where the whole family can sit and share a meal together, the dining room fit us all. Nice neighborhood for a walk. The house and hosts were welcoming- nicely decorated. The AC was fantastic on the more hot/humid days. Would be nice to visit again anytime of year. Thank you to the hosts, Jeff and Abbe- you were both very responsive.

Family weekend

The property worked out great for a 4 generation weekend birthday celebration. There were 13 of us ranging from 2 1/2 to 100 in age. Abbe and Jeff could not have been more perfect hosts— available whenever and for whatever but not in our space. They really go above and beyond. The family room with ping pong and pool and a big TV, as well as the pool area (although no one swam), were perfect places to play and hang out with the kids, as was the first floor living room. The house is a bit disjointed with multiple staircases connecting parts, but it gave everyone more privacy with their sleeping quarters. Ideal venue. Couldn’t have worked out better for our family.

West Point Graduation 2023

Jeff and Abbie are superb host. The house is amazing and comfortable and very large to host our family of 25. We had a great time there celebrating my sons graduation. Jeff and Abbie went above and beyond answering all my calls and text with every question or concern we had. We were able to enjoy my sons graduation party at the house with so much room to play cornhole, and hangout. The Pool Room was great for those family members that wanted to stay out a little later without disturbing everyone else asleep. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub. I cannot thank you enough Jeff and Abbie for being amazing host. Also, having the fire and doing s’mores at night was great. Great stay for our sons West Point Graduation and such a memorable time. Birthday Weekend

I had a dream weekend celebrating my 30th birthday with a group of my closest friends. Abbe and Jeff were lovely to communicate with and made sure things went smoothly. They were quick to answer questions, provided many details about the property and surrounding area, and even helped suggest restaurants and private chefs in the area. When we arrived, they made sure everything was set up in the house, including ensuring we knew where things were and that we had adequate internet (since many of us worked remotely on Friday from the house). We were also able to bring our pups with us, which made the experience even better and more convenient. The house is even better in person, especially the piano room. The hot tub was nice and big, the rooms were spacious, and the house was the perfect size overall for our group. I would suggest this house for any large family or group gathering, and would love to return again in the summer to make use of the massive outdoor space with the fountain.
