The very best place to stay in Pompeii!

Cannot say enough good things about this property! Beautiful place, well-managed, and perfectly located within walking distance of anything you'd want in Pompeii. Great central Pompeii location. Easy walk to the ruins and central plaza. Secure, gated property with parking space. Surrounded by lush, enclosed garden. Beds were very comfortable. Karine was very helpful with information on where to go and how to get around.

Excellent Location

An Oasis in the city center. Spacious and well decorated. Very attentive and friendly host with plenty of recommendations and information. Walking distance to the pompei ruins/ Vesuvius climb. Safe parking on the premises. Would highly recommend for a stay in Pompei.

Pompeij at Karins place

If you are looking to find a decent place while planning to visit the Pompeij ruins and surrounding area from Naples to the Amalfi coast, you find it at Karins place: Spacious, quite, close to the city centre - what else would you need? We very much enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfy, kitchen fully equipped. and Karin had good recommendations to go in the near area. All good!

Amazing rooftop apartment, close to all amenities, supermarkets, restaurants, train stations etc and a nice walk to the ruins. The apartment was spotlessly clean on our arrival and there is everything that you could possibly need during your stay. Highly recommended

Relaxing stay in a gorgeous apartment

We used Karine’s lovely apartment for our stay in Pompeii to see the main ruins as well as several other things close by. The apartment is very close to the center of town and the ruins, but is also private and peaceful because it is surrounded by a large garden area. There is even a view of Vesuvius from part of the balcony terrace. The furniture and especially the beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. The designated parking space was very welcome in the busy center of town and we enjoyed two excellent meals at the restaurant owned by Karine and her capable and welcoming spouse, Pasquale. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Pompeii.

Nice family location in Pompeii

Karine was very helpful purchasing small snacks we requested before our arrival, very nice! The Pompeii tour guide was informative and professional. The location is nicely situated between Naples and Sorrento, making day trips all around pretty easy. It is a great location to be around normal Italians and not tourist. Bring your walking shoes and catch the train. “checkout” was very easy and Karine helped to arrange a car to the airport. Very seamless. All in all, this is a great property for a real Italian experience in a central location.

Best Place to Stay in Pompeii

This apartment is amazing. The location is right off the main street in Pompeii and is a very short walk to the ruins, church, restaurants and bar. The apartment itself is huge, modern, quiet, with a large amazing patio. The gardens are maintained beautifully and it was nice to enjoy evenings outside. All the rooms have A/C, there's a washing machine, and the internet is super fast to work on. The host Karine is spectacular, made sure everything was perfect and if we needed anything, she was always available by phone. She cares about her guests like they were family. This is the best experience I've had at a rental apartment and if this rental is available you should definitely book it.

Beautiful apartment with FANTASTIC hosts!

I cannot speak highly enough about this apartment and its hosts! We were truly blessed to have such an amazing experience and so close to the archeological site! The apartment has every amenity one could need during a stay in Pompeii (or anywhere). It is pristinely clean, comfortable settings, and perfectly situated in a private compound area. The pictures of the apartment do not due it justice to ALL the amenities available - There is a beautiful restaurant on site overlooking the Island of Capri; perfect for dinner and weekend entertainment! Additionally, there is a garden restaurant available for lunch that seats guests under a peaceful canopy of grape vines. The menus and food at both restaurants were very well thought out and surely some of the best food we experienced during our visit to Italy this year! Our hosts were absolutely fabulous - extremely friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming! I believe we made friends for life with them and are truly counting down the days when we will return to Pompeii! Anyone who has the opportunity to stay with them and experience all the wonderful things about this apartment I’m sure will feel the same!

Beautiful apartment, great location

The host Karine and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was amazing - so much light and space. The outside terrace space was stunning - again, so much space and the seating under the pagoda with the plants made late night glasses of wine under the stars unforgettable. Location was within walking distance of Pompeii (about 15 mins) as was the rail and bus station. There are local shops and Carrefore market is about 5 - 10 mins in the car. Also, if you have a car, all the other main historical sights are easily drivable. Do try to go to the Amalfi coast. It is tucked away off a little lane, which itself is off a side street - so check Google maps to make getting there easier. A fabulous apartment in a beautiful part of the world. Would recommend and would love to stay again.

Attractive appartment in central Pompeii

Spacious luxury first floor appartment with two huge bedrooms. : very modern furniture and plenty of wardrobe space. A very well equipped kitchen and an open plan dining / lounge area with lots of windows. The best part was the private rooftop garden terrace with two sofas and plenty of space for dining or sunbathing. You can walk to the pleasant Main Street of Pompeii in two minutes and find plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants- all well priced ( especially the superb pastry shops/cafes ) much better value than nearby Sorrento /Amalfi /Positano ! Train station is five minutes walk away and the entrance to the Pompeii ruins are a ten minute stroll from the appartment. All in all good value for money and very private - I would recommend it for 2 - 4 people looking for luxury at a reasonable cost.

Perfect place to stay for vacation in southern italy

For a family or couples traveling together this apartment is perfect. It is less than a five minute walk to La antica pizza - the same famous pizzeria you can go to Naples and stand in line for hours for and a few more steps you can see a futball match. In the amazing square are shops and fabulous restaurants all within easy walking distance. What everyone should know about is the Bartolo Longo church and bell tower. A gorgeous church and for 2 euro you can take an elevator or the stairs to the top of the bell tower for 360 view of Pompeii, ruins and best view of Vesuvius. You are a 10 minute walk to the tram, 15 to entry way of Pompeii Ruins and 20 minute walk to train that will take you to Sorrento, Naples or Herculaneum. Why stay in these overcrowded places when you can stay away from it all in a beautiful apartment and location that allows you to get there quickly? This was perfect for us.

Great Location!

Beautiful, large and well equipped apartment with private parking. We parked our car and never had to use it again, easy walk to restaurants, shops and the archeological site of Pompeii. Pompeii in January is spectacular, for us it was cool, sunny and seemed like we were the only ones there at times. We hired a local guide for the first three hours of the day and then spent the rest of the day exploring on our own. Karine provided great recommendations for restaurants and local shops, and waited patiently as the GPS in our rental car had troubles getting us to the apartment. We are now a couple weeks and a couple thousand kilometers into our trip and for other travelers from North America that are renting cars we have found Google Maps slightly better than Apple Maps and the Ford navigation system supplied with our car completely useless.

Delightful spot in Pompeii

We loved staying at Karine's property. It is as pretty as it appears in the pictures - the deck is huge, well furnished and set in a lovely garden. The interior is comfortable, very tasteful and well-equiped with everything you need. The kitchen in particular has lots of glassware, pots and pans, etc. The beds are super comfortable, as is the living room furniture - great for a group to enjoy. The location is perfect. You can walk to the ruins and to lots of very good restaurants, gourmet shop (Melius), fresh pasta shop, green grocer, ec. The renting and check in process with Karine was efficient, and she was very quick to respond to any questions along the way. She gave us lots of great tips of things to do other than Pompeii - we wish we had been staying longer so that we could have taken a boat to Capri. We highly recommend this property. Would be delighted to come back and stay longer. Truly one of the best places we've found on VRBO. Thanks, Karine.

Our Stay at the gates to PompeiI

This location was PERFECT for visiting Pompeii, Naples, Amalfi Coast and other areas nearby. Beautiful property and accommodations. Spacious, spotless and well equipped. Excellent Hosts! Our only regret was never made it to their Restaurant but will surely visit on our next trip!!! The location is perfect for visiting Pompeii. A short walk to the entrance gate past a small local grocery store, several Pastry shop / Cafe's for breakfast. A bit of assistance to locate the entrance: when turning on to street the property is addressed for, from the main street of Pompeii, just past the train tracks, there is an alley on the left. At the end is the gate with the street number. Once inside the gate you're greeted by a luscious green area and secure parking. The terrace is huge and has wonderful views. The living rooms is spacious as are the Bedrooms!! A short drive to many other areas worthy of exploration. The hosts were very available thru VRBO messaging and wonderfully quick to respond! We highly recommend this property to stay at. There is a reason they are Premier Hosts!!! You won't be disappointed!

Séjour génial

Nous avons passé un super séjour. L'appartement est spacieux, conforme à sa description et confortable. Il est lumineux, la terrasse est géniale. La vue sur Pompei trÚs belle. Il est idéalement situé dans Pompei. Il est à proximité du centre et des ruines et des gares qui permettent de circuler sur Naples et sa baie. La communication avec Karine a été trÚs fluide. Elle est trÚs sympathique et à l'écoute. Nous conseillons son restaurant SoZen pour un repas cool le soir. Bref, on a adoré et on recommande sans hésitation.
