I recently had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and I needed to stay in the area for about a week. This place is in direct proximity to the Clinic and it was exactly what we needed. Very convenient and we could obtain a weekly parking pass from the clinic and park across the street in their lot.
We did not bring a petHost was extremely responsive and helpfulShopping required a car and GPS gave various confusing directions. (There were 2 restaurants within walking distance. Plus the hospital cafeteria.)The access app worked easily.Apartment was bright with large windows.
Having no idea where to stay while my husband was having surgery and had to stay in the CC, I opted for this apt. so I could prepare some meals for myself, do laundry and relax in the evenings. The price was right and the reviews were good. Upon arrival I was able to use the app I had been sent to unlock 4… yes 4!!! doors to gain entrance to my unit. I immediately felt safe and the process was quick and easy. Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. I quickly learned the way by foot to the Miller building in the clinic and it literally took me 3-4 minutes. As the days rolled on and we had not rented a car, I was able to grab Paneras and walk “home” with it, there were a lot of other choices in the dining area as well. There is a drip coffee maker with filters, tea bags, Britta water pitcher, hot water pot, There are enough dishes and silverware, linens, toilet paper and paper towels, garbage bags for a week and a small smoothie blender. I did have to contact the host due to the internet/ cable going out one night, but it was back on in the morning. He was very promptly available. Great choice all around!
The location of this apartment couldn’t have been better! I was able to park on the street which saved a lot of time and money. The apartment was as quiet as could be expected (it’s right next to the hospital). I found a few things were missing that would have been helpful-kitchen towels, coffee filters (there is a little coffeemaker), and aluminum foil-but I understand not everyone would use the kitchen as much as I did. The host was very responsive when I had trouble getting into the building when I arrived. The only minor issue I had was that the central air wasn’t working during my stay. There was a mobile window unit in the bedroom which cooled things down but was quite noisy. A repair person came to look at it during my stay (the host was very nice about getting my permission for this, since I was gone during the day) but I didn’t get any other updates about it. It was pretty hot during my stay and it would have been nice to have a/c in the whole unit, but it worked out with the fan and bedroom unit. I would recommend this apartment/building for anyone who needs to be close to the Clinic!
