Excellent experience whole way through for our weekend skiing at Copper. 5 adults and one child: we had Lots of space, super clean. and there is WIFi (some reviews said otherwise?) No complaints

The condo was comfortable and convenient. It was nicer than the picture suggests. We had access to covered parking and this was fantastic in the snow.

Love the convenience of Mountainside to Copper Mountain.

We have stayed at Mountainside before and are always very happy with it! It’s so close to Copper Mountain where we love to ski. And the convenience to downtown Frisco is also very nice. The condo was very clean, in great shape and was plenty of room for the 7 people in our group. Highly recommend!

Great choice!

This condo was comfortable, quiet and convenient. And the underground parking saved us a lot of windshield scraping! The bed and baths were comfortable and the BRs were really nicely sized. The kitchen was fully outfitted in terms of pots, pans, utensils, etc...much better than most I have stayed in. The owner was very accommodating and let us check out a couple hours late after spending New Year's eve in the condo. I would stay here again anytime I am headed to the slopes!

Clean, spacious, very close to town

The condo was great. We were doing an annual ski trip with old high school friends, and the 6 of us were very comfortable during our stay. We used sleeping pads to supplement the 4 beds (3 beds and 1 pull out couch) but there was plenty of room still. Would definitely recommend to other people looking for an affordsble ski condo option near Main Street. Thank you!

Wonderful place to stay!

We stayed in this condo for 4 days in September, 2015. The home was clean, comfortable, up-to-date and close to town. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook/serve dinner each night, comfortable beds, and the best view ever! We used the pool and hot tubs available, very nice rec. facility!!! I was so impressed with the home and the beautiful grounds that these condos are on. We had a group of 5 adults + 1 toddler, this was the perfect place to stay! We'll be back! Thank you!

Great Renter to work with

I rented the condo for some friends that were coming into town. They ended up not staying in the condo so nothing was ever used. Stef credited me for the night and refunded the cleaning fee. I did not ask her to do this, but she thought it would be the fair way to do things since we did not use the condo. I would definitely recommend working with her.

Great place and great owner

I had a last minute change of plans for my kids' spring break and decided to take advantage of the recent mountain snow. I got in touch with the owner of this unit and she was very responsive and easy to work with. We could only stay for 5 days, but it was well worth it. My family has been vacationing at Mountainside for years and this was our first time in this particular condo. It was clean, kid friendly, and it had every accommodation in the kitchen that we needed. Since we are a "home-cooking" kind of family, this is important to us. After long ski days and tubing, my kids just wanted to hang out at the pool, eat in, and play board games. It truly made for a break from the daily routine and the family bonding time is priceless. The poor review below is unfortunate and not an accurate account of what it is like to work with this owner or stay in her condo. I am truly pleased with our overall experience and we plan to stay in touch and use this condo in the summer when we return. Just a couple items of note that are probably already listed, but here they are anyway: There are TV's in both bedrooms which is nice if someone just needs a little space. The condo is well lit during the day with natural sunlight and a skylight. :-) Also, just make sure you are comfortable with climbing two flights of stairs to the condo. Not a problem for us, but I don't want that to effect another renter's experience. Finally, the parking spot in the garage was perfect since I do not care for scraping ice and snow from the car windows.

Good Price, Nice Place

A group of 5 of us stayed here for 2 nights on a ski weekend in March. This is one of the few places that would accept a 2 day reservation. Overall, I was very happy with the place. It worked out really well for us. It had 2 full bedrooms and 2 full baths. The loft with the 3rd bed worked out for the single guy that was on the trip. I believe the couch was a pull out as well, so you could sleep 8. The place was very clean and everything was in good working order. I love staying in a place with a washer and dryer to wash ski clothes, so that was a nice feature. I didn't use the club house on this trip, but had on a previous stay at a different condo in the complex and recall it being nice. The only negative I would say is the lack of wifi, which I understand is available in the club house. We weren't there long enough for it to matter, but it would have been noticeable on a longer trip. I will likely stay here again.

Our experience in this unit

We would not recommend this unit as long as managed by the current manager. We had 3 reservations with this manager: this condo from 11/17/2012 to 12/17/2012 as well as 2 bookings for http://www.vrbo.com/75388 (which she apparently owns); one for the same period, the other booking for a period in January of 2013. This unit is not closely managed by its manager. The carpet was worn and fairly dirty when we took possession of the unit. The fireplace (gas) was not working during our entire stay. The listing on VRBO stated 'wireless internet' under 'communications'. However, we found out that this was not the case and that we had to walk to the complex clubhouse to access this internet. This manager promised that she would contact the owner and get the internet in the unit, but it never happened. We paid regular rates for a stay from November 17 till December 17, 2012 and should have received what we paid for. Upon arrival, one blind was laying on the floor upstairs in the hallway and covered in dust. It was clear that it had been there for quite some while prior to our arrival. The bathroom was carpeted with the same old carpet. Shortly after our arrival, the toilet backed up, soiled the carpet and leaked in the unit below. A plumber was send and 'repaired' the damages. Mid stay cleaning was not offered. When we left after one month, we didn't clean floors, bathrooms or kitchen (there was a spill on one of the shelves). Upon check out, we were charged $200+ for cleaning fees. We didn't clean so we were ok with it, even though we know that many other owners offer complimentary cleanings when such a long time is booked. We were also charged for a full carpet cleaning, which truly is an abuse. As stated earlier, this is a worn carpet that was already dirty when we arrived. We also received a charge for the broken blind laying in the hallway. (we were told it would be $175 to $350 to fix!). Another abuse! Now, onto the worst part: we were charged an additional $2,300 because the toilet had backed up. Most of it was to repair the unit below as well as to pay for an asbestos study! Proof of repairs, bills or insurance information etc were never provided when we asked. Instead, she immediately cancelled the next booking we had with her for January of 2013 in a different unit and told us that the money we paid for the next booking would be used to pay for the damages.

I've been renting units for over 10 years,I have only had Excellent renters with only accolades. Ultimately there is a bad one in the bunch. The Russian Freestyle Ski Team expressed their review, facts were expounded upon and were flat out blatant lies. I have had the same cleaning crew, and they pay very close attention to all the details of the units. They recommend any work or additional cleaning that needs to be done after every stay. The Russian Freestyle Ski team had unsupervised teenage athletes who destroyed the unit. The following is the truth to this review. 1.The carpets are cleaned on a regular basis. 2.The fireplace is in excellent working order, and everything is labeled, and never brought this my attention until the after they left. There is a company on staff 24/7 to correct any issues. 3. It is clearly stated in the VRBO listing that wireless is only available in the clubhouse; we never promised we would get it in the unit but did make every attempt to. The renter was fully aware of this prior to renting it is stated in the ad. Its available in the clubhouse, they responded that it was too far to walk. (One building over approx. a 2 min walk) .4.They were given a discount on a long term stay and did not pay a regular rate. 5.Cleaning during an extended stay is available at an additional fee, they refused it. 6.The blinds were not broken until this renter was in the unit, our cleaning crew always notifies us. 7. The renter clogged the toilet, and allowed it to over flow which caused damage to the unit below us. 8. They were billed for the extra cleaning and damages that occurred during their stay, which she agreed to pay prior to their departure, we HAVE NEVER had to charge a renter before, but they have refused to pay it leaving us with a 2200 bill. 9. All bills and proof of repairs were provided to the renter and have all of the copies to prove it. 10. We DID NOT CANCEL any other reservations. We requested an additional $200 security deposit by due to the demolition of the previous rental, reservation was never canceled. They choose to not respond. If you are an owner reading this, then I would suggest that you steer clear of the Russian Freestyle ski team. They rented from another mountainside owner and had major cleaning damages with this group. If you are a prospective renter, I apologize for a lengthy explanation of the truth, but this is America and when there is defamation of truth, we still have freedom of speech and integegrity.
