Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

The property is so charming and close to shopping, dining, etc. The apartment was comfortable and we loved the retro appliances. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again!

We had an amazing and seamless stay! There were a plenty of towels, great WiFi and AC! It was extremely easy to find the VRBO and access it in a great location. Highly recommend!

Charleston Getaway

Family trip to see our Son's Citadel Rec Day Ceremonies. The Location was excellent. The room was great! Our only wish would be for TVs in both bedrooms.

We had an overall fantastic stay! Communication with YourPAD was amazing! Probably the best I’ve dealt with on VRBO. The place was very clean, everything worked, fully stocked with everything we needed. Location was awesome, very walkable, and close to coffee shops and restaurants. The only “negatives”, as another guest said, there is no where to place your luggage other than the floor. Being a family of four, we had bags all over, even into the family room. With that being said, I think the space is maximized the best it can. We would def stay here again!

Great area close to everything

This place is super cozy but close to everything! We walked to many coffe shops and drove around downtown which was about 10 minutes drive (my mom can’t walk far). Very responsive Host and beds were comfy!

Cute Little Getaway

My mom and I stayed here for a girls getaway weekend. The space was cute and comfortable, and in a great location - close to things, but also not in a super congested area. My mom kept raving about how cute the place was, the beds were comfortable and everything was cozy.

Quick two days

This beautiful home was exactly as described, in a good location and represented by thoughtful hosts! Perfect size for two people (and two small dogs), close to good restaurants and wine bars, and a reasonable walk to the main drag on King/Meeting streets. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay here in Charleston! This apartment was the perfect place for my husband and I and our daughters (18 and 19). Lots of walking but also great access for driving as well. The place was very clean, manager was very responsive, would highly recommend!

Clean and well-appointed

We had everything we needed. It was a steep stairway, but do-able. When we walked in, everything was clean and fresh. The sofa sat low, and we slid toward the middle when relaxing on it. The floors were a little wonky, but added to the charm. All-in-all, we would stay there again. Thank you for a great place to land!

Such an adorable place

My husband and 3 babies stayed here for a couple nights. First of all what an adorable place. My boys 4 and 2 loved the second bedroom. The two twin beds were perfect, but there is room for pack n play between the beds if needed. The master was big enough for a pack n play for baby. Both bedrooms have two full bathrooms which made showering after the beach so easy. This place had everything we needed for our stay. Please note this is an upstairs location.

TL;DR: Poor communication, uncomfortable conditions, and excessive humidity. Overall, incredibly disappointed with our stay.I realized after booking that I hadn’t mentioned we were bringing our dog, so I immediately contacted the property owners and paid the required fee. Upon arrival, we found the door unlocked with an AC repairman (very kind) working inside. At no point prior to check-in were we told that maintenance would be happening.After informing the owners of what we’d walked into, I received only an automated reply and then a non-automated response at 2:06 AM. The repairman told us the AC unit in one bedroom would be out of service for our entire stay unless they came back mid-stay to fix it—neither option acceptable, especially with zero advance notice.With that AC unit down, heat and humidity seeped into the rest of the space, leaving it damp, stuffy, and uncomfortable. The main AC unit ran constantly and loudly through the night, making sleep difficult. To top it off, I found burrs/spurs in the “makeup” towels while washing my face.Finally, the listing states there is a “garden,” but in reality, it’s just a large gravel lot. The lack of communication, misleading listing details, and poor condition of the property turned what should have been a relaxing trip into a frustrating and unpleasant experience.
