We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and for choosing to stay with us. It means so much to our team we hope to have you back soon thank you
The cabin was perfect for our large family gathering. There was plenty of room for everyone with enough privacy. The pool was great, but it would have been nice to be able to adjust the temperature slightly warmer. We are definitely over packers and the kitchen fit our needs well. Smoky Mountain National Park was not far away. We had so much fun!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience with the cabin! It's truly great to hear the space comfortably accommodated your large family while offering the privacy you needed. We're glad the kitchen served your over-packing needs and that the pool added some extra fun, even if the temperature wasn’t quite perfect. Exploring the nearby Smoky Mountain National Park sounds like the perfect adventure to top off your stay!

Thank you for choosing our cabin for your family trip! We’re so glad the space worked well for your group and that our team could quickly address the issues. It’s wonderful to hear you'd stay again, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
The major things about the house were very good. The rooms and bathrooms were great. We enjoyed the deck as well. The house was very clean and the air conditioning was awesome. We needed at least one more full size refridgerator, maybe two for the number of people staying here. Also could have used additional garbage cans. Finally 2 of the 3 microwaves didn't work.

It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed the house, the clean spaces, and that the air conditioning kept everyone comfortable. We truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback about the refrigerators, garbage cans, and microwaves, and we’ll be looking at those areas more closely. It really helps us improve when guests share these kinds of details. Thanks so much for choosing to stay and for letting us know what made your time enjoyable.
First and foremost I would like to say, the cabin is beautiful and the pictures do it no justice! My family and I enjoyed the area and our stay. There were a few discrepancies, but nothing that wasn’t taken care of with them offering a resolution for it. We are definitely grateful for that and will be booking again!

We're delighted to hear that you found the cabin beautiful and that you enjoyed your stay. Your understanding of the discrepancies and appreciation of our resolutions mean a lot to us. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back soon!
We enjoyed being in the mountains, rather than close to town. It was the perfect distance for convenience to our event at the LeConte Center. The cabin was beautiful! The pans are ready to be replaced, and the HVAC needs a tune up. Some rooms were comfortable, others were too hot or too cold.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re so glad the cabin and its location were a good fit for your event. We truly appreciate your feedback about the pans and HVAC, and we'll definitely address those concerns to make future stays even more comfortable. It means a lot to us that you took the time to let us know!
We had 20 adults and 15 children. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots to do. A few things I wish I knew where that there's only one coffee maker and for such a big group I wish we would have brought another. Most rooms have a futon. There's no DVD player for the theater room so we couldn't watch movies but did have the stuff for playing video games so that was really cool! It was a fabulous place for a family reunion.
This house was perfect for our group of 20+. There was alot for the kids to do. The adults enjoyed the private bedrooms. The view is beautiful. Nice pool. Close to everything but still away from everything. Lots of new rentals going up, so a bit noisy outside with construction, but quiet in the home. I highly recommend.

Thank you for your recommendation, Susan! We are delighted to hear that both you and your group had a great time at Smoky Mountain Joy, enjoying the private bedrooms, as well as the amenities for the kids, the pool, and the stunning views of the Smokies! It was a pleasure hosting you, and we can't wait to host your next adventure to the Smokies soon!
Our family reunion at Smoky Mountain Joy couldn't have been better. With 10 bedrooms, a massive dining area, and a spacious kitchen, it was the ideal layout for a group of our size. Even with a full house, we had plenty of room to spread out and never felt like we were stepping on each other’s toes.Highlights of our stay:The Amenities: The private indoor pool was a massive hit with the kids, and the home theater became our "gaming hub" where the crew spent hours playing scary video games together.A Cook’s Kitchen: The kitchen is truly equipped for high-volume meals. Having two dishwashers was a game-changer for quick cleanups after family dinners.Stress-Free Access: We really appreciated the flat, paved roads leading to the cabin; it made the drive easy and stress-free for everyone in the group. The Best of Both Worlds: This cabin is in a logistical "sweet spot." You get those stunning mountain views you crave, yet you’re within 15 minutes of everything you could possibly need in town.Ending the nights in the hot tub or around the fire pit was the perfect way for the adults to unwind while soaking in the mountain air. We highly recommend Smoky Mountain Joy to any large group and wouldn't hesitate to book it again in the future!

It’s amazing that Smoky Mountain Joy was perfect for your family reunion! We love hearing the kids enjoyed the pool and gaming hub, and that everyone felt comfortable with the spacious layout. Your recommendation means a lot. We hope to have you back soon, thank you!
Disappointing Stay Despite Great LocationThe property itself was beautiful, with a great location and plenty of space to accommodate our group of 20 people comfortably. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. From the start, we encountered several maintenance issues that made our week-long stay frustrating. The bedsheets were dirty and had bugs in them, which was extremely unsettling. Several doors were broken, and the refrigerator shelves were damaged, along with many other fixtures throughout the cabin that clearly needed repair. Multiple light bulbs were burnt out, adding to the feeling that the place was poorly maintained. What made matters worse was the lack of communication and response from Cabins for You. This was my first experience booking with them, and sadly, it will be my last. A property in such a beautiful setting should be much better cared for. Very disappointed.
Thank you for your feedback, Der. We’re sorry to hear your stay didn’t fully meet your expectations. It truly meant a lot that you reached out during your stay, giving us the chance to address your concerns at the time. A 3-star review shows there’s still room for us to improve, and we’d appreciate any additional thoughts you’re willing to share. Your feedback is invaluable as we work to create better experiences for all our guests.
