This one of a kind location is a safe haven in the center of Nassau . The large open outdoor spaces with the cool breezes feels like being on one of our islands. Welcome to our home and true Bahamian hospitality. Awake to amazing sunrises and enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Nassau.

High Pointe is a unique single family dwelling. Built in the shape of a hexagon, The main floor has 2 bedrooms each with a private bath available for your comfort.. In the center are spacious and open living areas including a kitchen, breakfast/ room, dining room and living room

The exterior space provides a swimming pool with patio space for enjoying the outdoors. The pool follows the shape of the house and is perfect for midday cooling off or fun evening dips. An outdoor bar and grill is available. Our large areas of grass invite you to be outdoor and enjoy the feel of the Bahamian

There is ample parking space for a rental car. And while we encourage one, there is also easy access to local bus transportation just at the bottom of the driveway entrance.

A short walk to the south, less than a mile, brings you to the shopping centre with a local the food store, liquor store, Starbucks and other local eateries including Dominoes, Wendys, Kentucky, and Popeyes.. Travel to the north and within 4.5 miles be in downtown Nassau. Paradise Island is just over 5 miles away, and The Atlantis are all within 10 mins drive. A short 2.5 miles to the west is the Sports Center which hosts our local track and field meets including The World Relays, , our national swimming pool, home to our 6 time Caribbean leading Bahamas Aquatics team, our national soccer stadium, tennis courts and mini golf course. The stadium can be seen from the patio. Baha Mar and the many hotels, restaurants and activities are just 5 miles.

About the host

This is home! My father was an architect and engineer. This home was his dream and ingenuity. Built in the 'late 60'ss, a facelift is still in progress. Dad had a vision and planted it on the end of a ridge that runs along the center of the island. The location and view are unique like the house and have a very special feel. Together with my mother they turned his house into a home that entertained people and friends from around the world. They were part of the original people to people program, developed to help visitors experience The Bahamas. Many become family friends. It brought out the tender spirit of my mom. Here, I can live a art of their hope and dream.

This property is private and comfortable. The open land space and height on the ridge help to create the feeling of being on one of our family islands although you are in the center of our busiest island

What makes this property unique

Everything about its location. People who have lived nearby and drive pass every day don't know we are here. Every person who comes speaks to the view and the special feel.
