The house, which has a large yard with Gazebo and interesting foliage, is fully furnished with all appliances, including washer/dryer, dishwasher, WiFi, cable television, Smart TV's, Firesticks and DVD, CD player, toll-free telephones, high speed wireless Internet, and is ideal for families or business persons seeking a home-away-from-home in the city of Nassau, without the crowds and limitations associated with hotels. Communication is made simple with toll-free calls to North America and the United Kingdom.
In keeping with global concern for the environment, no costs were spared in making the building environmentally friendly, with solar heating, LED lighting, energy-efficient appliances. There is also a security system which is monitored by a reputable security firm; there are also security cameras on the property for extra security. If there are island-wide power failures, guests do not need to be concerned because the house has its own generator which kicks in automatically if the local company which generates electricity for the island experiences a black-out.

The owner of the property served for 30 years in top positions with the Ministry of Tourism and is fully familiar with the needs of the most discerning visitor.
The property was originally her family home in a lovely neighbourhood. Because of its size and attractiveness, it was the popular location for family celebrations, pool parties, Sunday barbecues and other events.
Now that the family has moved away, and my daughter is away from home practising law in USA, I converted the home to a vacation rental so that others can enjoy this beautiful property. The owner stays in a separate unit in the split level portion of the property

Why they chose this property

We bought the property because of its location in a nice neighbourhood and because the house has great character, with large rooms, back and front patios, pool and garden with interesting foliage and native plants which attract a large number of birds. One of its biggest assets is the central location just minutes away from the beaches, hotel resorts like BahaMar, restaurants, downtown area, Ardastra Gardens, Fish Fry and other tourist attractions.

What makes this property unique

Guests can commute by bus or car to all of the activities available in Nassau - Swimming with the Dolphins, Flamingo Show at Ardastra Gardens zoo, shark diving, parasailing,water skiing, snorkelling , golf, etc. and then come home and enjoy the comfort and privacy of this spacious property, where they can create their own culinary delights and dine by the pool, in the gazebo or the large dining room. Many guests spend much of their time at home, enjoying barbecues at the pool. and the kids enjoy the large assortment of old movies (Classics and Academy Award movies). The house is well equipped with all of the comforts of home, including a variety of appliances. It is a great way to enjoy a vacation on a budget because the house is so well equipped and there is only a flat rental fee, with absolutely no hidden costs.
