Welcome to your Tropical Getaway! This home is the perfect, private relaxation spot for you and your family. This oasis is a spacious three-bedroom, two-bath home that is located three (3) minutes away from the airport and two (2) minutes away from one of the beautiful beach spots in The Bahamas. An excellent space for up to eight (8) persons, with one king-sized bed, one queen-sized bed, two single beds, and one queen pull-out sofa equipped with extra blankets and pillows.

Whereas the host was incredibly friendly, this property was not what we expected and not what the picture showed. We had a problem with the bedding being wet, but more importantly it was not disclosed that we did not have the entire house. The laundry room was shared with other people. We could hear people in the adjoining room . There were bugs but that is not too big a deal in the islands …. In addition, the pictures don’t reflect what the house looks like exactly. Definitely a friendly host, but not what we expected and expensive for what we got in return. There is also no place to hang out outside at all so if the goal is just to have a place to sleep, that would make this place sufficient.

We appreciate your feedback and we’re sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. We want to sincerely address the concerns raised. As described, the unit is a fully private 3-bedroom home. The separate efficiency unit is attached on the property. The guest house itself is fully private for guest use. We understand there may have been some confusion regarding the setup and will continue working to make these details as clear as possible for future guests. We also regret the issue with the bedding, this was not up to our usual standards. We have since addressed this issue internally in our cleaning process to ensure this never happens again. As with many properties in warm climates, bugs do tend to get in sometimes, but we do our best to minimize any bug presence through regular preventative treatments and strict housekeeping standards. The home does include a front porch with outdoor seating available inside the home for guest use. In addition, the home has recently undergone upgrades, and we are in the process of updating our listing photos to better reflect the recent upgrades and the updated look of the property. Thank you again for your feedback.

Great Stay

We use VRBO to book frequently for training and hosted trips. Sometimes you get unhappy surprises. This was NOT the case with our stay. The home was spacious, clean, and minutes from the airport. I would recommend the stay for other looking for a convenient overnight. We had 6 adults staying and had plenty of room. Great to be able to wash our clothes and finish drying our scuba gear before heading home. I will definitely stay again. Also, the hosts were very accommodating, responded quickly to questions, and checking in was a breeze. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home!

Close to the airport

Property is about 5 minutes from the airport in an area called Tropical Gardens. House was spacious for our party of 7, host communication with her local recommendations upon request and flexibility to accommodate a late check-out was quick and excellent, the complimentary water was a thoughtful gesture and extremely helpful (had no idea how much water we'd be drinking out there), wifi was a huge plus bc I had no service and that was how i survived in communicating with anyone and location was peaceful and serene. Home will suit your immediate needs after a long flight. Closest eateries, restaurants, etc. are about a 10 minute drive. Beach shores are about a 5-10 minute walk.
