Wonderful

This place is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. We found it spotlessly clean and well equipped. A short ride from the airport and close to a beach. My only recommendation would be to get a rental car if you’re staying more than 1 night .

Great location minutes from food and beach

We had a wonderful time at Vista Azul. The house was as advertised and very clean. We even used the futon downstairs which was surprisingly comfortable. The owner was extremely responsive to every request. The only small complaint we had was the dogs barking in the neighborhood but who can control that!!!

The property is beautiful! The host (Ambry Moss) was super! Maintained open contact for any questions or concerns we may have had. Which were none since he provided more than adequate information about our stay and accommodations. Five of us stayed at the property for several nights. We walked to the local eateries and beach. Host left welcoming snacks, fruit and water. We enjoyed the upstairs patio and downstairs back yard patio. Very clean, quiet, pretty with a beach decor. There were even beach towels and beach chairs provided for our use ! Thank you! We had a super stay!

Cute house, convenient location and outstanding hosts

I, my wife, my 3 year and 6 year old and my in-laws spent 5 nights at Vista Azul. It's a cute house with sufficient space for our group and plenty of green backyard to spread out. It is conveniently located to a beach and many restaurants within 5 mins of drive. Due to lack of sidewalks, walking with young kids to beach and restaurants was tricky for us. Ambry and his family were very considerate and generous hosts. They were very prompt to respond and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. To meet the needs of my large group of people, they arranged for extra beach chairs overnight, got our kids activity books and toys to stay engaged with and also provided toothbrush, toothpaste and a crate of bottled water. I will highly recommend everyone to stay at Vista Azul on their visit to Nassau.

A Perfect Getaway with friends or Family

Ambry's place is an absolute gem for a getaway with friends or family. The fully equipped kitchen was a game-changer for our trip, allowing us to indulge in our love for fishing and cooking. Over two days, we enjoyed the luxury of preparing our catches in the well-equipped kitchen, creating memorable meals that added a special touch to our vacation. One of the standout features is the access to a charming backyard, which provided a relaxing and private outdoor space. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee or having a barbecue in the evening, the backyard added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. The proximity to the beach and the nearby attraction, Blue Sail, made our days filled with adventure and relaxation. The convenience of being able to hop on the bus 10 in either direction at any time was a major plus, making exploration and transportation hassle-free. Ambry's place exudes comfort and convenience, making it a delightful home away from home. The attention to detail in providing a fully equipped kitchen, a welcoming backyard, and easy access to nearby attractions contributed to an unforgettable experience. We genuinely appreciated our time at Ambry's place and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fantastic getaway.

Responsive host - ok property

The place was reasonably clean (we did kill a cockroach in the kitchen) but very basic. Nice coffee maker and bottled water provided but very limited kitchen supplies (only 4 bowls for example so two of us ate cereal out of mugs). No towel rack or hand towel in the downstairs bathroom, and blankets provided for the king size bed were much smaller than the bed. Bed frames were somewhat creaky/flimsy and there were no bedside tables or lamps. Backyard was nice but we were only there one night so didn’t really use it. Neighborhood dogs were barking on and off all night which kept us up. It’s a pleasant, safe seeming neighborhood and the management was very responsive. Their new cleaner hadn’t left sheets for the futon but when I asked for them someone brought them over within the hour. The futon bed is tippy when folded down. Overall this place is not a bad option and the management is good, but it feels very much like a simple/cheap rental versus a cozy home.

BDK 15 Year Anniversary

We only had one problem. The gas on the 6 burner stove was not getting to drive properly. 😒 We checked outside and found that the gas line was bent, as if they were regulating the gas. I had difficulties contacting the host because i could not get into my emails and she never provided a contact phone number, not even for immigration. We spent $378 on food we had to throw away because we could not cook on the stove. The food was for our 15th anniversary dinner to be held on the 15th, the actual date of our organization's anniversary. We ended up having to throw the food away, because each of us had pre-prepped what we were cooking the night veggie to cut down on preparation time the next day, only to be shocked by the stove not working properly.. It took one and a half hour for a small pot of water to come to a little boil to try to cook some grits, after one hour on the stove and in the oven, the bacon was still not cooking we had to microwave that done. We ended up spending too much money on our anniversary dinner. Ambry did not want to compensate us for this. She said the last renters cooked a full meal there with no problem and that they checked everything to make sure it was working. Yes you could turn the gas stove on but the flame did not rise high enough to cook anything.

Ambry the host was so quick to respond and very communicative! Had all sorts of amazing options for activities, restaurants, and transport. We were greeted with snacks and bottled water which was a nice treat after a long flight. They went above and beyond on accommodating our late check out for our return flight. Would definitely stay here again!
