Cozy and nice stay

It was a lovely place and we enjoyed the time we spent there. At the beginning the place was quite cold, so we had to sleep near by the fire place, but next day everything was perfect. Thank you so much !

A 3days stay

We kwamen na een veel te lange dag reizen vanuit Osttirol (waar we een week op vakantie waren) aan in Bertogne en konden de lokatie niet vinden, ook niet via Google maps. Uiteindelijk heeft een jongeman ons verteld dat we naar Compagne moesten. Daar kwamen we zeer moe aan om 22.45 uur. Gelukkig stond de eigenaar ons op te achten.(In duitsland hadden we last van vel stau en wegomleggingen, waar zelfs Google maps moeit mee kreeg. Het was ook nog eens veeeeeel te warm. Maar het welkom van meneer Michel deed ons goed. We wilden 3 dagen in de Ardennen verblijven, maar door de tropische temperaturen tot 37 graden zijn we de derde dag al vertrokken. naar Nederland. Wel hebben we 2 dagen genoten van de omgeving, voorzover onze energie dat toeliet. Het huisje was schoon en was knus gezellig. Helaas hadden we moeilijk contact met de organisatie en het internet hielp ook niet echt mee, slechte en geen verbinding. Dat Isabelle alleen frans sprak was voor ons een probleem, maar haar man Michel sprak genoeg Engels om samen te converseren. Alles bij elkaar is de Bergerie de la Luna een goed verblijf, de eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam en kwamen ons na de eerste nachtrust ook trakteren op een lekker stuk vlaai! Ons grootste probleem was gewoon de hitte, maar daar had iedereen last van zullen we maar zeggen.

The owners were incredibly hospitable and generous with their facility. We had our best sleep in two weeks in the gite bedroom and enjoyed using the kitchen amenities and relaxed by the pellet stove. Wonderful visit.

Hébergement très sympathique, propriétaires courtois et fournissants des tuyaux sur la région. Sur demande les propriétaires proposent de servir un petit-déjeuner bien garni. Petit bémol: avec une température extérieure à 0° C, les parois (les murs sont construits majoritairement en pierres) mettent du temps à se réchauffer, malgré le poêle à pellet qui chauffait à fond.

Le cottage

Goede gastheer en vrouw. Geven veel uitleg over aanwezige accommodaties zoals pallet kachel, tv en afstandsbediening,… maar niets verteld over hoe achterlaten bij vertrek. Knusse gerenoveerde schapen stal, maar bed te kort en plafond te laag als je wat groter bent. Alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt zoals lakens, handdoeken etc. Maar kussens van het bed naar onze mening wat te plat. Badkamer ; ruimte tussen toilet en douche beetje krap. Voldoende stop contacten en gezellig ingericht voor de kerstperiode.
