Summary:
Adorable 3 BD/2.5BA home in the Pitchfork neighborhood. Pet Friendly, garage.

The Space:
This 3BD/2.5BA is tucked in on a quiet street in Pitchfork, which is a lovely little neighborhood on the edge of Mt Crested Butte.  It is closer to the town of Crested Butte, situated on the recreation path, and has easy access to a free bus shuttle system to the ski area or either town.  It is a three story home that has new carpet, paint, lighting and furniture.  It is perfect for 2 families, multiple couples, or a multi-generational gathering.  


The living space is on the second story and is an open floor plan.  The living room has a large television with an array of channels including HBO, Showtime as well as regular spectrum tv channels.  You can log into your own accounts such as Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc as well.  There is also a smart TV off the kitchen which is great for kids.  There is a gas fireplace in the living room for added warmth and ambiance.  There is a turn table and albums for your listening enjoyment! A balcony is also accessible via 2 sets of french doors which equates to great natural light and views.  The dining area seats 6 comfortably and 4 bar stools are near by as well for extra seating.  The kitchen is roomy and very well stocked.  There's every small appliance you can think of: a griddle, ninja blender, toaster oven, french press, Mr Coffee drip coffee maker, a food processor, crock pot and microwave. Off of the kitchen is a desk in the TV nook area, as well as a half bath.  Upstairs, on the third floor, you'll find three beautifully furnished bedrooms.  Bedroom 1 is an oversized master with king bed, south facing windows for views and light, a desk, large walk in closet and en suite bathroom.  The bathroom has two sinks, an oversized tub with travertine tile shower, and a separate toilet room.  Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and inviting decor.  Bedroom 3 has a set of twin bunk beds as well as a full bed.  These rooms share a full bathroom complete with a tub.  


There is a full sized laundry set on the ground floor as well as a mudroom for gear, jackets, and shoes.  A garage is available for storing bikes or parking a car inside.  This property has a gas grill. There is room for 2 cars on sight-one is the garage, and one in the driveway. HOA covenants do not allow street side parking so only 2 parking spaces are available.  Trailers and RV's cannot be parked in the Pitchfork subdivision.


Please note that on some of our marketing channels this property is showing up as having A/C.  It does NOT nor do any of our rentals.  Fortunately in the mountains our evening summer temps get into the 50's so simply by opening the windows you'll experience some lovely temps and nature made A/C.


This is a pet friendly property where ONE well behaved dog is allowed for an additional fee. No cats allowed.  We can only allow ONE DOG.  No exceptions.  Any damage incurred by the pet will be the responsibility of the renter.  


NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED anywhere on the premises. Any evidence of smoke will incur fees as well.


Renters 25 years and older are welcome.

Parking and Vehicles. Parking of vehicles on a Lot is permitted only within Garages or designated parking spaces, except that vehicles may be parked temporarily in other areas as an expedience while loading and unloading. Personal property storage in each Garage shall be limited so as to enable the intended number of motor vehicles to be stored in each such Garage. No Persons shall park any vehicles on Out lot A, designated on the Plat, except Owners and Permitted Users of Lots 7, 8, 9 and 10. (4.6)

The following are absolutely prohibited from within the Common Interest Community and shall not be parked or stored on any street or Lot or in a Garage:

Motor homes, recreational vehicles, and campers except a camper mounted on a pickup;
All terrain vehicles (ATVs);
Trailers of any kind;
Snowmobiles;
Boats, except kayaks and inflatable rafts, which shall be stored inside or outside in the rear of the Lot if such storage is neat and not visible from any street;
Abandoned or inoperable vehicles of any kind. An abandoned or inoperable vehicle shall mean any vehicle which is not capable of being driven under its own propulsion or does not have current registration. (4.7)

An illegally parked vehicle is subject to towing and impounding in accordance with Town ordinances. Such action may be initiated by any Owner, resident or lessee without prior notice. Parking is expressly prohibited on any grass or landscaped area. Each parking space shall be maintained in a clean, safe and attractive condition and shall be kept free from litter and debris. No gasoline, gasohol, distillate, diesel, kerosene, naphtha, or other similar volatile combustible or explosive materials shall be stored in any parking area except in the fuel tanks of vehicles parked therein and used for transportation purposes. Owners, residents and lessees shall abide by all traffic laws within Pitchfork.

The Neighborhood:
The Pitchfork neighborhood is a nice mix of local and 2nd homeowners. There is a shuttle stop at the turnaround as you pull into the area and easily gotten to on foot from anywhere in the subdivision.

Getting Around:
Use the free shuttle that stops at the turnaround just as you enter Pitchfork to catch the free bus to the base area. From there you can catch another shuttle to the town of Crested Butte.

Wished we owned it!
This is a great property to rent. It is ideally located in a quiet neighborhood close to the mountain with a perfect amount of space for our family of five to really relax in, though more people could easily fit. The garage was incredibly helpful to have as it snowed more than 30 inches in the 4 days we were there! We had a small issue with the secondary shower upstairs and the management was quick to address the issue in full. Overall, we loved it here and would happily rent the house again. Two small recommendations we have for management would be to stock coffee filters (I had to run out to the store the first morning to buy some before making my wife's coffee) and to include a tea pot.

A pitch for Pitchfork
Great neighborhood ! Very friendly mix of residents vacationers and local dog pack . The property is lovely, clean, modern and all things are operating as expected . Recommend throwing open the large bedroom windows flopping down on the comfy bed and letting the cool mountain breeze lull you to sleep . We will back !
