There is a $50/night fee for your dog if you bring one.

An additional guest over 2 will involve setting up a inflatable mattress and will be an additional $100/night.

This is a pet friendly place for a great vacation! I just ask that that your dog not be left home alone. This is not a good rental for dogs that bark all day when home alone.

Ring doorbell is by the front door. This is very helpful to know when cleaning is complete for early check in requests, monitor plowing, check for snow shoveling needs, observe visiting wildlife, make sure trash is out on Thursdays, let cleaners know if guests leave early, ect.

I love dogs and have gone out of my way to accommodate dogs for visitors to Crested Butte. 80% of accommodations in Crested Butte do not allow dogs. Although I technically allow dogs in this unit, this is not a dog friendly unit with that is set up to accommodate dogs like the unit on the other side of the duplex. Please do not book this unit if you are going to allow your dog to be an issue. A few things you must agree to if you are bringing a pet on vacation with you to this rental:

1. The rental is near the road and is dangerous if you dog goes out into the road. There is not a fenced yard, so please keep you dog on a leash or under voice command at all times.
2. You can not leave your dog home alone if they bark. Constant barking will disturb renters on other side of duplex. There is no where in this unit to put a dog that bark incessantly where it would not disturb the neighbors eventually.
3. Please pick up dog waste, the house’s well is on this side of the house and there could be a small risk of dog waste contaminating the drinking water well if it is not picked up. This is not likely, and it has never happened, but please pick up your dog waste.
4. Please clean up after your dog and be responsible for your dog.

Property is the second half of the duplex known as The Overlook VRBO listing #791776. The views here are also stunning.

This home features amazing views, new deck, new floors, and a new wood stove. This is a great place to stay and enjoy the Crested Butte summer. New bathroom and new appliances. This is a great place to access trails from the property and enjoy everything Crested Butte has to offer.

The house is a little less protected from the highway than the other side of the duplex. You can hear traffic noise from deck and through open windows. If all windows are closed, it is much quieter. The windows are new and insulated.
