Located in downtown Crested Butte, this pet-friendly townhome is only two houses from the park, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and softball field . It's a pleasant 5 minute walk to the heart of historic downtown Crested Butte with shops, galleries and restaurants and just two blocks away is the free ski bus stop. Be sure to check out the Center for the Arts’ Alpenglow, a free outdoor concert series on Monday evenings during the summer, located only one block from the house. The house has two bedrooms and one full bathroom located on the first level plus a washer dryer closet. Both bedrooms have queen beds. The second floor has an open plan with the kitchen, dining, and living area where you can relax and enjoy the large back deck overlooking the yard. The second half bathroom is also located on the second level. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room for additional guests.
The kitchen being located on the second floor allows the cook to still be part of all the fun while enjoying the scenery. Kitchen equipped with refrigerators, 2 freezer drawers for optimum counter space, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, garbage disposal and all cookware & dinnerware. Windows surround the upstairs living/dinning area and kitchen keeping it bright and sunny. Amenities include television with Amazon firestick, board games and wi-fi. The bathroom is stocked with plush bath towels, hair dryer and extra toiletries available. Relax on the porch with a beverage or prepare dinner on the gas grill while enjoying the backyard and the many Humming birds that often visit the house for a sip from the feeder. The duplex's shared backyard is fenced and nicely landscaped with flowers and mature aspen trees, as well as a flagstone walkway & patio seating area. The large grassy area is perfect for our four-legged visitors. There is a gravel driveway as well as parking in front of the house, although a vehicle is unnecessary since everything in town is within walking distance and the shuttle (two blocks from house) will take you up to the Mt. Crested Butte base area.

Great little Condo, perfect location.

Great little place! We really enjoyed our stay. It was a little hard to get in and out of the condo, but there's nothing that could be done about that, given the amount of snow. We woupd definitely recommend this place to friends.

Great place for skiing and going downtown

This duplex was just right for us with a group that enjoyed alpine skiing, Nordic skiing and hanging out downtown. It is comfortably furnished with everything you need for meals at home.

Great place to stay in CB

Very nice property, loved the location in a residential part of town close to the center. Listing is accurate, other reviews seem reliable to me, no shortcuts taken, clear instructions, responsive host. Super dog friendly, with a fenced yard (a lot of snow when we were there) and a balcony (which our dog loved).

The perfect weekend!

Erin’s place was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing little vacation. The backyard was also perfect for our two goldens to run around in between hikes and walks to the local pet shop.

Conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Lovely patio to sit n enjoy a glass of wine on 2nd floor overlooking garden. Erin was lovely in helping me and easily accessories via phone. Recommend this place.

Nice location and comfortable house

The location was great - easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The layout of the house was nice and it was very child friendly. We also appreciated being able to bring our dogs. We were not able to check in until about 3:30pm because the home was still being cleaned and we found some areas that had not been cleaned (shower had hair, carpet covered in previous dog hair, etc) but overall we enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay again and would recommend this home to others.

It’s tough to find a luxe or modern spot in Crested Butte (especially with dogs) and this place was no exception. It’s very cute and creatively redesigned (as much as CB will allow!). The host communicated very well. Beds were comfortable. Great location. Cobwebs were prolific, previous renters did not pick up poop in yard, one very small full bath (1/2 bath upstairs) and no dishwasher were the downsides. The kitchen had a lot of tools, but I can’t see cooking a big meal there, which is fine since there are great places to eat in CB and you can walk to all of them from this house. Table inside only fits 4 people. I would also say the place is tight so 2 people is the max I would recommend. 3 maybe if you have a kid with you, but everyone sharing the bathroom would get tough longer than a weekend. I really wanted to enjoy the deck and backyard, but the chairs on deck were for sitting at table and not lounging. The back yard had chairs with cushions but with no view or anything so we just spent most of the time walking around, which is fine, just something to point out if you are drawn to a deck and yard.

Comfortable 2-floor Condo with Great Deck and Backyard

This is a well maintained unit on the south side of Sopris that faces a peaceful backyard. It has a nice deck off of the second floor on which it is perfect to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. 2 bedrooms and bathroom with shower are on the first floor. Greatroom is the entire second floor plus a small 1/2 bathroom. Everything you need to be comfortable is here. Also, it is in a great location; away from all of the traffic in town but a quick walk to everything. (Note: unit does not have a dishwasher.)

Great location - nice property

We stayed for a week for the kids to do a XC Ski camp at the Crested Butte Nordic Center. The house was great. Due to dietary restrictions (and cost savings as well), we typically cook-in most meals. Finally a VRBO with a decent chef's knife! Thank You! You would be surprised by the number of nice places that have knives that are dangerous to use when cutting potatoes or slicing meat. The kitchen is well stocked (except a pototo masher, oddly - but there is now a potato masher in the kitchen). Also, not that it is really needed, a hand-mixer is not available, but there is a whisk, so with the added potato masher, all mixing items are there. Bedding is nice, beds are OK - a bit soft for me - but no complaints. Location is great - just off 7th Street, so a very easy walk into downtown. I had several interactions with the owner and the experience was fantastic - thank you Erin! My only complaint has NOTHING to do with the house - but VRBO - they have to have one of the slowest mobile applications on the market. The lag time and UI is horrible. Overall, we are looking to CB next year at the same time and will likely reserve this house again.

The positives - location was great especially for those that want to be walking distance to the downtown restaurants and shops. The front of the property is nice and kept tidy. The interior overall is comfortable, definitely rustic and fairly well equipped.The negatives - the back and side of the unit are covered in cobwebs along with everything under the deck. The lawn furniture in the rear is covered in bird droppings so not super inviting. The beds are absolutely awful - the mattresses definitely need to be replaced and upgraded - you either slept on the edge or both ended up in the center of the mattress. The interior cleaning could be improved upon - the coffee maker was pretty icky and wet towels were left in the washer and not discovered by us until the night before we left - the smell was rather unpleasant, the stovetop could use a little love as well. The grill’s igniter did not work and the starters didn’t work so much either. Enjoyed our stay as we do love the Crested Butte area.

What a perfect location in that beautiful town. Easy walk to river (and a dip for your dog), grocery store, town shuttle, which goes back and forth to the ski mountain, and Elk Ave (the main drag of interesting shops and cozy restaurants). Restful deck and back yard in the trees. Nice bathrooms and kitchen well stocked. Host very responsive! We loved our stay!

Early Spring Getaway

One of our go-to stays in CB!

Great spot located a couple min walk from the free shuttle and another minute or two to the main downtown area. We’ve actually stayed in both units and have no complaints for either. This unit has a slightly bigger living area up stairs. Easily fit me, my wife, our 1 year old, and two Bernese mountain dogs. We’ve also stayed in the other unit with another couple and had plenty of space. Highly recommend!

Cute Condo

Our group of 4 adults stayed here for a ski trip. Off-street parking was perfect as we rode the free town bus or walked everywhere the whole trip. The condo is a little small but completely serviceable when you really only lounge upstairs and sleep. Two members of our group cooked a few meals and were able to find everything they needed in the kitchen. We lucked out and hit a sunny stretch and the upstairs living area was really nice drenched in sun. The deck is large and would be lovely in warmer weather.

Terrific Base for a Crested Butte Adventure

A great stay. Very quiet and conveniently located - no more than a 5 minute walk from Elk Avenue - Crested Butte's main thoroughfare of shops and restaurants. The stop to take you up to the ski resort is even closer. We had a blast here, even though we were socked in by snow for most of our trip. A terrific stay for our family.
