About this property

Cozy cottage with a beautiful river view and private dock, huge deck overlooking Chippewa bay. newly renovated kitchen with granite counter tops, huge living room with vaulted ceilings, 3 bedrooms with 2 full beds and one set of bunk beds. large TV, internet, Netflix and Hulu provided, trash and recycle provided. Propane fireplace in living room.
Chippewa bay is one of the widest areas of the river with some of the largest islands including Singer castle, Cedar island state park 5 minutes away by boat. This area is one of the most scenic areas without all the hustle and traffic of Alexandria bay or Clayton. The cottage is located on a small country dead end road, boat launch is 5 minutes away along with a small country store, Chippewa Bay is known for its excellent fishing. Gas and charcoal grill, all linens, towels, blankets provided along with a fully stocked kitchen. 20 foot pontoon boat available to rent with dock space. Pets are welcome. We have dock space for 1 boat if needed, unlike other places we do not charge extra for dock space.

We also have pontoon boats at our dock available for our guests to rent at affordable prices. No easier way to enjoy cruising, fishing and swimming than on our pontoon boat. Please let us know asap if you want to rent it so we can reserve it for you and have it ready to go. Damage deposit applies to the boat rental also. All pontoon boats are equipped with GPS navigation maps. Extra dock space available to rent if needed for $25 per day.

Nice cozy place

Nice small Neighborhood boat launch right around the corner Nice Owner Clean place small bedrooms like a old style cottage perfect for us it was great that we could bring our dog . We will go again

River Retreat

Brett and Alice are a great team. The cabin is always clean and well maintained. Fishing the river yields 3-5 pound bass regularly. Nice quiet neighborhood with good neighbors. The surrounding area is great for exploring. Would recommend this property to anyone.

Had the greatest time

First and foremost Brett was incredibly helpful. His knowledge of the river was very helpful for a great boating and fishing experience. Was reliable for any questions we had. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable. Very well stocked kichen. Wonderfully peaceful area. Pontoon boat was in great condition. Will book again! Thank you Brett for your warm hospitality! Exactly the break we needed!
