Perfect Spot in Grindelwald

Gorgeous views, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable and private bedrooms, extremely clean. There is a parking space, but the town is easily (and best) accessed by foot through the nearby walking path and also on a bus route. Great home base for exploring the Jungfrau region! Extremely friendly and helpful checkin/checkout staff.

This chalet has a perfect, unobstructed view. I could have just sat on the balcony the whole time. One bedroom is super plain. Beds are fine. Pillows are awful. They’re just kind of slabs. Comforters could be better and are similar to the pillows. They are not the nice fluffy comforters I’ve had elsewhere. Bathroom and kitchen were good. The only thing I’d suggest is providing soap for the shower. Unless you have a car, you can’t run to town for things.

Wir haben unseren 25. Hochzeitstag in Grindelwald im Chalet Blaugletscher mit wundervollen Impressionen der Bergwelt des Berner Oberlandes vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag der Woche genossen. Der Blick vom Balkon der bestens ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung ist sensationell und hat uns vollends begeistert! Wenn noch einmal Grindelwald dann gerne wieder diese Unterkunft. Nice apartment with beautyful view

Clean apartment with comfortable equipped kitchen en other rooms. Good beds, nice bathroom. Nice view on the mountains surrounding us. Busstop near the apartment: that was very comfortable. The heating in the living room was not enough to warm the room comfortable. We didn't use the open hearth: we travelled to grindelwald by train, we had no car to bring a box with wood to the Terrassenweg.

What a view!

We absolutely loved our week here and would highly recommend it to anyone. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard and has everything you need. The view from the balcony is outstanding, we were awestruck by it every day. Grindelwald itself is a lovely town with countless things to do. We took the cable cars to First and Mannlichen, as well as visiting Lauterbrunnen and Brienz. We can’t wait to visit again in the future.

Traumhafte Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich. Etwas oberhalb Grindelwalds aber in der Nähe einer Bushaltestelle. Das Skigebiet ist mit Bus und Zug gut erreichbar. Die Aussicht auf Eiger, etc. ist wunderschön. Ideal für Familien, die in den Ferien auch wirklich Ferien machen möchten.

Warum nur gut?

Würde eine richtig funktionierende und dem Raumvolumen des Wohnzimmer-Küche angepasste Heizung vorhanden sein, könnten wir ein "Seht gut" als Bewertung abgeben. Gemäss der techn. Beschreibung hat die Heizung eine max. Leistung von 4000 W, diese entspricht in etwa zwei grosse Koch-platten à je 2000 W. Viel zu wenig, bezogen auf das Raumvolumen. Durch die herrschende Kälte am Wochenende 13.-15.2.21 hatten wir im Wohnzimmer lediglich 17° Cel. Mit 50 Kg Kaminholz konnten wir die Temp. erhöhen.

Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet. Das Sofa im Wohnzimmer müsste mal erneuert werden. Die Anzahl der Kleiderbügel reicht für mehrere Personennicht aus.
