About this property

Cedar Plus 13 - large room at The Inn At Mazama

Summary:
This is a large pet-friendly room with a deck at The Inn at Mazama. These rooms have a queen bed and a twin bed. The room has a propane cast-iron stove, a sitting area with a small table, and is equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The Inn is located right on the trails in Mazama allowing cross-country skiing, hiking and mountain biking from the door. Inn facilities include wifi, a pool, hot tub and clubhouse with lounge, yoga studio, offices and co-working space.

The Space:
This is a generously sized room at The Inn At Mazama, furnished with a queen bed and a twin bed. The sliding doors open out onto a covered deck overlooking the Inn’s garden. This is one of two similar units with country-style decor and cedar-board ceiling and trim. The Cedar rooms are located in a four-plex annex building connected to the main lodge by a covered walkway. These are pet-friendly rooms, ideal for bringing your well-behaved dog.

The Inn is conveniently located right behind the Mazama Store with great coffee, pastries and “a little bit of everything good” and the Mazama Trailhead, the hub for many of the Methow Trails hiking, mountain biking and cross country skiing routes. In winter you can relax in front of the fire in the lodge's great room, and in summer enjoy the back porch and garden after a day of exploration.

The Neighborhood:
MAZAMA
We are located right in the heart of Mazama very close to the Mazama Store and the Methow Trails trailhead (for great hiking, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails). In addition to the store with its great bakery and grocery, Mazama is home to the Goat’s Beard outdoor store (with mountain bike and fat bike rentals) and the Mazama Ski School for cross country ski hire and lessons. The Mazama Public House is set to open summer 2022. Please see our website for our seasonal activity guides with trail suggestions and more visitor info.

NORTH CASCADES NATIONAL PARK
We are conveniently situated for easy access to the North Cascades and the trailheads to many of the Park's world-class hiking trails. It’s a 20 minute drive to the Cutthroat Lake trailhead, 25 minutes to Washington Pass and 30 minutes to Maple Pass trailhead. Great for beating the crowds and snagging a trailhead parking spot at peak seasons.

Getting Around:
Getting here: May to November, from Seattle and the westside, you can drive over State Route 20 and Washington Pass (check WSDOT for closures). Alternate, and winter routes from Seattle are via I90, Snoqualmie Pass and Bluett Pass, or via highway 2 over Stevens Pass (check WSDOT for driving conditions). Combine these routes and you have the scenic Cascade Loop. The nearest major airports are Spokane International Airport at 180 miles (year round) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (190 miles in summer / 260 miles in winter). Regional flights are also available at Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee located 102 miles away.

Getting Around: The location is walking distance from the Mazama Store and Trailhead. Winthrop is under 20 minutes drive / 14 miles south on 20. Methow Motion provides a private car service throughout the Methow valley.

Other Things to Note:
PETS
Well behaved dogs are welcome. We charge a pet fee of $50 per dog per stay. We'll get in touch with you before your stay to confirm the number and type of dogs, and will request the pet fees at that time.

DINING
Our restaurant is currently closed, and no meals are included in the room rate. We are currently only arranging catering for group events at The Inn. There are several nearby dining options including the Sandy Butte Restaurant, Jack’s Hut and Woodstone Pizza. We are also right behind the Mazama Store with its great bakery and grocery. More information on local dining is available on our website, and we’ll send an email closer to the time of your stay with an update on the current options.

INN FACILITIES
The Inn’s outdoor pool (open Memorial Day to Labor Day), clubhouse lounge, tennis court, and hot tub are available free of charge for guest use. Our co-working space and private offices are available for daily, weekly and monthly fees, please see our website or contact Front Desk for more information. Our fire pit is available November through April.

OCCUPANCY
The room has one queen bed and one twin bed. Maximum occupancy is 3.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
If you are driving an electric vehicle over to the Methow Valley we have you covered as there is a rapid charging station on the property. In addition there are two overnight charging points for guest-only use by The Clubhouse.

PRICING
Please note that the nightly rate varies with seasons and weekdays, please enter your proposed dates for an accurate quote (some listings may show an 'average price per night' when in fact if no dates are entered this is our minimum rate, we are working with our software providers to rectify this).

GROUP BOOKINGS
Please get in touch if you would like to reserve more rooms for a group event. The Inn can accommodate up to 40 guests, and we can also book nearby cabins and vacation homes for larger groups.

The quiet in the woods
This is the third time I have stayed the Inn at Mazama. I head to eastern Washington each 4th of July to preserve my sanity when my residential neighborhood starts to sound like and resemble the invasion for France in 1944. The Inn at Mazama is relaxing, the property is well cared for, rooms are comfortable and clean and is a place where I can depend on those qualities each time I visit. Staff is very pleasant and the Inn has all I need to relax and have an great time. I hate to recommend the Inn becauseI want to keep it to myself but in all fairness to them, it is an excellent place to go and enjoy oneself!

Newly updated
Our room was switched out from what we originally booked, but we were upgraded to a King bed in the newly renovated section. I hardly think we missed out. I want to stay in the yurt next time. Everything was clean and fresh. It was very pleasant.
