The Space:

Directly on the sands of the Emerald Coast sits SunDestin Beach Resort. This high rise condominium complex boasts many amenities, including an outdoor pool, and outdoor hot tub. Get a quick workout in the gym, then enjoy the sauna afterward. The lobby offers a souvenir and snack shop so you won’t have to leave the resort to pick up gifts for everyone back home.



SunDestin 1212 is an updated, coastal two-bedroom corner condo with gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico. When you enter, you’re greeted by the main room with lots of natural light. Floor to ceiling windows in the living and dining rooms means you get great views of the water below. The kitchen is fully equipped and you’ll find everything to make coffee and breakfast in the morning and dinner at night. A breakfast bar and dining table have plenty of seating for everyone and the living room has a large TV and DVD player so you can take advantage of the complimentary rentals that come with your stay. Walk through the sliding door to find sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and plenty of seating to enjoy the coastal breeze. The master bedroom can be accessed from the balcony and features a king bed and an ensuite bath. The guest room is large and has a queen bed and a twin bed. With a sleeper sofa in the living room, the condo can sleep up to seven comfortably. This two-bedroom condo has all you need to enjoy your beach vacation.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.



Located in the middle of Destin, SunDestin Beach Resort offers many great amenities on-site and is close to all the action in the area. Big Kahuna’s Water Park is less than a mile away and so is The Track. Both are great places to enjoy a day off the sand. Grab dinner at the Destin Commons in central Destin, just four miles from the resort. SunDestin 1212 is just steps from the sand and is the best place to take advantage of all Destin has to offer- start planning your trip today!

The condo was not as big as it appears in the pictures. There was no washer and dryer in the unit and the hot water runs out within 5 minutes in the shower. It is located in a prime location and the beach view is amazing. Overall the stay was very pleasant. The staff was extremely helpful.

I had such a great time in Destin at this unit 1212 Condo. The beds were comfortable. The couch was actually comfortable to lay on. The Chairs in the living room are rockers and very comfortable. I love that there are the 2 different chairs on the balcony. The tall chairs to see over the railing and the smaller chairs that are comfortable to sit on. The Condo was very clean. It had everything youd need for a comfortable stay and had the most gorgeous view. Wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you for making my vacation perfect.

Balcony tiles were broken. View was great. Rooms were small. It sleeps seven but furniture would need to be moved to pull bed out of couch. Electrical outlet behind master bed didn’t work correctly. Only one washer/dryer per floor. The view was wonderful. Hot tub was great. Parking was good.

We're surprised to find there's a door to outside from the kids bedroom but thankfully Dad noticed that and made sure blocked the door with doors, luggage so the kids don't think it's fun to go out using that door while parents are sleeping in the middle of the night. We have little boys that are not afraid to try anything. We also have wifi issues in the master bedroom TV and one of a table light was out in the living room. But still it's a beautiful place, loved the Numbers 4:24 verse on the kitchen wall, clean, & beautiful view. We will book that same condo again when we go back to Destin, FL. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!

Great room. But.....

Overall it was a little smaller than what we imagined. Although it sleeps 7 there\'s not a lot of room in the main area to sit. So it requires a few to sit at the table all the time. The master bedroom layout is not good. There needs to be a door between the vanity and the rest of the room. No privacy for someone wanting to get dressed or the other wanting to sleep.

Out dated/ limited access to beach

Although the property is on the beach and the views are beautiful, walking out to the beach us an entirely different story. Walk in f out to the beach, there are chair and umbrellas lined across the beach from 3 rows deep. The section on the beach that we actually had access to was roped off. I stepped foot across the area and was meet by the neighboring resorts chair rental people that said “ you can’t sit here”. All Chairs and umbrellas were rented out for 3 days only availability was the 3 rd row where you have zero visibility to the water due to two rows of umbrellas. Never have I ever experienced Destin like this. I will not revisit this resort and any resort like this. Horrible!!!!

Everything we needed

The interior looks exactly as pictured! The property was well kept and location was perfect. You are DIRECTLY on the beach. Open sliders have you drifting off to the sounds of the surf, almost like you’re ground-level, despite the 12th floor! Staff was kind and accommodating. The gift shop has everything you could need for a beach day, from snacks and beverages to beach wear and sunscreen. They even had body boards and inflatable boats. The indoor pool was clean, although heavily chlorinated, but I’d rather have a little too much than not enough! Unfortunately, the outdoor spa was drained the day we arrived, and refilled the morning we checked out. Kind of a bummer. One more building plus—fast elevators! There are six of them, and there’s little to no waiting. Unit 1212 is very well stocked with creature comforts—every kitchen item available, from dishes to food storage, blender, cutting boards. etc etc. There were plenty of towels and fresh linens. We were a family of 3, staying for 4 nights, and never ran out of clean towels. There are two vacuums available for sand cleanup, but no broom, which would have been helpful on tiled floors. Not a big deal though. Unit also has a full sized ironing board, iron, floor fan, handicapped chair for the shower, hair dryer, basic bathing toiletries and plenty of extra pillows & blankets. The view from the balcony/windows is phenomenal—just be careful of some loose tiles near the NE corner of the balcony. Overall, while still perfectly accommodating, the unit could use a little sprucing. Floors are probably due for a deep grout cleaning and the slip covers on the sofa were stained and could use a thorough wash. Walls could use a fresh coat of paint. None of these things took away from our stay, however. If you’re looking for beach front, with a great location to dining, entertainment and shopping, this is a great choice.
