The Space:

Welcome to the SunDestin Beach Resort by Scenic Stays, the premier condominium in the heart of Destin situated on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! The onsite Scenic Stays team at SunDestin looks forward to welcoming you to your next beach vacation at our 24-hour front desk. The experience of a lifetime awaits! SunDestin Beach Resort features expansive onsite amenities including a newly renovated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, steam room, sauna, outdoor tiki bar (open seasonally), workout facility, event/meeting space, gift shop, complimentary DVD rentals and much more!



Upon entry to SunDestin Unit 1614, you are greeted by a fully appointed, well stocked kitchen for home cooked meals or a quick snack to take to the beach. An open dining and living room concept immediately follow, with comfortable seating for 4 guests and a relaxing sofa and armchair set after a long day at the beach and pool. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and the emerald waters welcome you from the living room and spacious balcony with seating for two. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and calming sunsets directly overlooking the beach!



Refresh every night in the comfortable king bed located in the master bedroom, while the kids relax in the queen sofa sleeper located in the living room. Enjoy the flat panel televisions located in the living room and bedroom both equipped with DVD players. DVD rentals are available in the lobby directly across from the gift shop!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, and outdoor pools, and the splash pad.



During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.



These enhancements are designed to elevate the guest experience for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming guests in Summer 2026 to a beautifully refreshed SunDestin Beach Resort—one that reflects the level of care, comfort, and coastal hospitality our owners and guests expect.

Weekend getaway

Spent the weekend at the Condo with my Granddaughter and my two great Grandchildren. Place was perfect with a beautiful view of the ocean. Staff super friendly. Easy check in and out. Enjoyed our stay.

Great views and easy check in

Condo was clean and as pictured. Facility is/was under construction though so pool, hot tub, and sauna were all closed. Luckily the beach is just steps away.

Everything was awesome. It was a wonderful time for our honeymoon. My wife wanted to find flowers for a photo shoot we had and one of your staff members her name was Weezy got on her phone and had flowers ready to go in about 15 minutes. She was Awesome. Everything was wonderful. The home was very clean, you can smelled the cleanliness as you walk threw the door. The scenery was beautiful. I would love to stay in this same condo again. We had gotten a text with invite of stay another night at discount price. But when we called the front desk they said it was a scam!

Good spot to be, amazing view, details were not super clear about no hot tub for renovations. I finally found the information after scrolling all the way to the bottom of the details page after arriving. Would have been nice to know seeing as my initial search for somewhere to stay had hot tub as a need. Clean place but furniture and appliances very old and rundown.

The room was dusty had to clean room when we got there and it had a bad smell had to buy cleaning supplies and air freshener to get the smell out . The dust was probably all the remodel construction that was going on but this is our second stay here and both times the rooms had a funky smell to them almost a moldy smell. Both times we have been there you advertise a splash pad for kids and both times it's not working. Fix it or remove it from your advertising please. Other than these things or stay was great our view was great location was great.

Updating of the unit

We enjoyed our stay, however the unit could use some updates and in updating the unit the shower could be higher for tall people also the walls and ceiling in the bathroom shower area was questionable, looked like maybe mold or just something else. Also the mirrors are placed in the bathroom for short people only. The view was very nice from the unit. I know that you cannot control this but the speed limit on the main road could be reduced in speed to help all people trying to leave the condos.
