Guests at this condo will also be conveniently close to the NPOA Rec Center with its pool, hot tubs, fitness room, and sports courts (There is a daily $10 per person fee to access the Rec Center).

This property backs right up to the wooded ski back trail where kids will have a blast sledding in winter. Hop aboard the free shuttle to take you to Northstar Village where you'll find a year-round skating rink, restaurants, shops, entertainment, and of course the gondolas/ski lifts waiting to deliver you to almost 100 ski trails spread across over 3,000 skiable acres. Other opportunities for warm weather fun can be found here including golfing, biking, tennis, and more. Head over to Lake Tahoe for boating, water skiing, sailing, and swimming at Kings Beach, less than eight miles east, check out the quaint town of Truckee, seven miles north, or head across the border into Reno for big city entertainment, less than 40 miles away.

Great and convenient location to the gondola and village! Condo was warm and cozy. Only thing - 10am check out seemed a bit early, 11am would be slightly better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Great place for a family trip!

Close to the village and more than enough room for our family of four. Nice to be close to some sledding behind the condo. Would rent again!

Wonderful time in Aspen grove condo. Came during the fall, fewer people in the complex which made our stay perfect for us. This home had most everything we needed. Encountered a problem with the TV, but received great support on the vacasa helpline and even had the local vacasa rep come by to assist us. Greatly appreciated their service. I have stayed in this complex before and look forward to coming back here again. Its close to north Tahoe and a quick drive into Truckee.

Aspen Grove 2025

Really enjoyed the condo. No too bad of a hike to the mountain in ski boots, and we were able to ski back to the condo pretty easily. Great access to the outside closet for skis and boards, plenty of silverware and flatware. With our group we had to keep a lot of food items on the counter since there was not much storage place for us to keep dry goods. This limited some prep space, but it was doable. Great time at NorthStar and would recommend this condo.

Great Condo

The three bedroom condo at Northstar in the Aspen Grove area was wonderfully located. The condo was very clean, had a good amount of space for everyone. The shuttle pick up was very convenient, just in front of the parking area. With it being so close to the village pick up and drop off was very quick. The kitchen was well stocked with more than enough utensils, cups, dishes, pots, and pans. But I would definitely recommend them, including in the description of the condo to bring coffee filters, foil, ziplock baggies just in case you need them. I would highly recommend the condo and would definitely stay there again.

The housekeepers did an excellent job, but there was no grill brush or laundry detergent so we couldn't do our part. The grill hadn't been cleaned in a while and it was very hard to get it clean without the right tools.

Nice but tired

Overall the property was great and met our needs. LOTS of stairs. Two bedrooms on the floor you enter on, plus a bathroom, then you go up to the kitchen and dining area. Kitchen is pretty well stocked, but lacked baking sheets. The dishwasher, fridge, and oven seemed newer. Up one more flight of stairs was the main bedroom and another bathroom. Both bathrooms seem to have been recently upgraded and were nice. The mattress on the king bed was nice. The couches were old and very tired. We put sheets over them because they seemed so dingy. The decorative pillows were unnecessary and also seemed old and pretty unsanitary. Unfortunately we could not use the washer or dryer. The dryer was full of dirt and the washer was covered in mold and sitting water in the detergent reservoir. Overall it was a good stay, but a closer attention to detail (broken photo frame, empty soda can in a drawer in a bedroom, etc) would be helpful. Super easy, plentiful parking right in front of the unit, easy entry instructions.

Nice location, lots of space but.....

I booked this accommodation for family/friend ski trip. The listing includes "Rec Center w/a Pool & Hot Tub". Our experience was those were included after paying $10 per person for each day at the Rec Center. The listing title is very misleading. The kitchen was not "well-equipped" as there absolutely no spices (not even salt, pepper) and no cooking oil. The dishwasher did not work. Found all jet holes on both rotating arms were completely plugged. Was able to break free a few but that left dishes grimy. Some jet holes are calcified and cannot be cleared. Advertised for skiing and close proximity to Northstar but there was not one box of facial tissue. The walkway and stairs were covered with compact snow and ice upon arrival. Presented a dangerous condition while unloading luggage. Found shovels and cleared ourselves. I would not recommend this property unless the Rec Center guest fees are properly disclosed.

Cozy large group hideaway

We enjoyed our stay in Aspen Grove and can recommend a stay in particular when traveling with 4 adults and up to 4 kids. Given that we are in the midst of a pandemic/endemic my only complaints were the lacking tidiness of kitchen cabinets, the face of the fridge and the bathroom sinks. The cabinets had food splashes and I had to remove skin particles and hair. This definitely should be improved and is the reason I give 4 out of 5 stars. However, the old carpet was replaced, as well as the coffee maker, there were enough pans, pots, cookie sheets, and cutting boards. Future guests should bring spices, Tupper ware/ food wrap, and laundry detergent to wash towels upon check-out since this was not available during our stay. Otherwise, the on-site guest service was prompt and followed up after arrival. Overall a great stay within close proximity to Northstar Village.

Vacasa was super responsive with some small hiccups in our trip. The location to the village can’t be beat. Would definitely love to rent here again.
