We had a wonderful time at the lake house! Our kids 5 and 7 loved all the activities in the house. It was wonderful to see them playing board games, relaxing and enjoying lake. I really appreciated the hosts attention to detail when it comes to having “extras” like shampoo/conditioner/body soap as well as batteries for emergencies. We would highly recommend staying here to others and we would book this location in the future!

This cabin was perfect! Easy fishing in the pond right next to the home, and the lake is just a 2-minute walk — our teens loved kayaking across it. The cabin was spotless (the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in), very well stocked, and had plenty of space for family movie nights, board games, and relaxing. Beds were super comfortable, and The Bistro at Annie’s (just a 5-minute walk) was amazing. The owners were excellent communicators and so gracious. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time as a family of 7! From 81-16 years old it was everything we wished for and more…easy access to fishing, great views and walking distance to a great sports bar (The Tipsy Hippy). Fun was had by all!

I took my 2 adult daughters and adult granddaughter for 4 days of quiet and a fun time. This house had everything you would possibly need for your stay. Nicely furnished, very clean and quiet. We had windy cold weather but went to the Petrified forest and stopped at the Casino.Evenings were spent watching tv because the dining room chairs were not comfortable at all.Overall it was a relaxing quiet trip but not as planned because we couldn’t sit around the table and play games as a group.

Perfect Quick and Easy Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this Lakeside retreat. Plenty of room, amenities along with many extras included in our stay. We enjoyed Kayaking, (kayaks provided) fishing, hiking and treks into town. At night we made s'mores at the fire pit and played foosball, board games, etc. Loved the relaxed vibe. Accessing the property was quick and easy. We will likely be back!

Lakefront Gateaway

Beautiful cabin with a short walk to Rainbow Lake. Cabin offers 4 kayaks for use, which our family loved. Kayaking and fishing was a daily must for the kids. In the mornings and evenings we enjoyed walking the trail behind the lake. Location was close to all our favorite Pinetop hotspots. When we weren’t out exploring or enjoying the local establishments, the house was a relaxing place to be.

I had a nice relaxing getaway. What a beautiful home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch watching all the birds and listening to the water. It was peaceful and just what I needed. My dad came up to stay one of the nights with me too and his favorite thing was the massage chair!

Very nice home and neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay and the home was as advertised. We really liked the kayaks; thank you for having life jackets as well. Not sure what the beds are but we all thought they were too firm. Did not like the mattresses. The shower in the master bath probably needs to be replaced; just sprays water everywhere. Not a great shower. Overall the house was very livable with plenty of space.

Overall stay was pleasant :) house worked out just fine for our family of 6. This house was in a good centralized area. Not too far from everything in town. We mainly wanted to visit Sunrise. It was abt 30-40 min from the ski park. Sounds long, but an easy drive. Unfortunately the winter weather just wasn’t there so we cut our trip a day short. Not a whole lot to keep the kids busy. The hosts made it very easy to check in, and everything in the home is set up to accommodate guests. There were a couple issues, but nothing that would keep us from staying there again. The one big annoyance is the parking situation. The garage will only fit a small vehicle. Think honda fit size… If you have suv’s or a pick up, they will only fit in the driveway. AND only one will fit in the driveway. You cant park in the street, so you will have to park any extra vehicles by the front gate entrance. We went to several of the host suggested places to eat. All were exceptional:)Overall experience was a good one & we would stay again:D

Why they chose this property

There are so few homes in AZ that are on the lake, but yet safe for kids, and in good condition! The age of the home, location of the home and the town of lakeside-pinetop checked all the boxes for us to purchase a vacation home where we can create family memories for many years to come!

What makes this property unique

The view is amazing! The location within the community is the best lot - it actually used to be owned by the builder. It has a perfect combination of Lake view, Pond View, and some privacy from the spillway. A few other lots may have better lake views, but they are right in front of the tourist areas and get a lot of people looking in their windows, and don't have any space for the kids to play in the back! This one truly has it all!
