The accommodations were really good. Location is great, as it's in the center of the village with restaurants and shops just steps away. Our stay was in late August and a perfect time for hiking & mountain biking with the uptown/downtown trail right across the street. Communication with the host was a breeze and we would stay there again.

We enjoy staying at the Village Lodge. Very walkable to a variety of eateries and close to mountain bike trailheads. This unit’s location was perfect for coming in and out of the lodge. Very comfortable. Enjoyed the TV having streaming services. The kitchen has plenty of equipment for vacation cooking. Parking is secure and convenient.

Great Location and Stay

The ease of staying in the Village, especially with kids, makes this a great spot. The place was clean and well maintained. Hot tub within a few steps outside. It has everything you'd need for some time in Mammoth. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property and quiet location in the village. Property mgmt responded quickly to our questions and onsite property mgmt responded within minutes when the smoke alarm began beeping for a new battery.

Comfy condo a short walk from the gondola.

Comfy and cozy. A mix of funky and older and updates furnishings. Not fancy, but nice and comfortable. The staff at the Lodge were super helpful and friendly. The shuttle service was amazing. Takes you into town, grocery stores, etc. Loved steamboat and would rent this unit again.

Great stay

Everything about this location is perfect at least for me. Right inside the Village so you can walk to anything. The condo is identical to the hotel room I stayed in before. I was having trouble with the patio door and the management sent over some within 10 mins. Super responsive and friendly.

Good location, good facilities, good communication

We enjoyed it very much. Not a problem with the unit or VRBO service, but we found it difficult to understand the bus schedule for late spring skiing -- the Mammoth site was not clear. If the condo manager, or other property owners, could summarize the change in busing/shuttle policies, that would be useful.

Love Grand Sierra

My stay was perfect. The unit was as described and CLEAN. Also quiet,you could hear the snow fall. I am a frequent booker in Mammoth and the Grand Sierra property has been kept up unlike some of the other buildings in the area. Thank you for the bottle of wine upon arrival. A ice touch that many other operators have stopped. I will be back.

Condo is in a terrific location but is very dated. Few electric outlets for devices and no upgrades to outlets since built in 2009. Furnishings are worn. One of two overhead lights in bathroom was not working, when I called for a replacement bulb, I was told this had to be addressed by an electrician. Why wan't this done prior to check-in? Many of utensils, knives were grimy as tho they were placed in dishwasher but not cleaned properly. Pots/pans dated and worn. Notices in bathroom about not taking towels or charges apply. How tacky is this? All condos are indiviually owned and most managed by Mammoth lodging. I would rent with them directly next time.
